We've been coming here for decades now, fabulous staff and friendly environment. The prices are affordable and they by no means skimp on the care your furry siblings receive.

Amazing team!! So many Bert’s are out there to steal and rob from you but here at Animal Hospital of Brooklyn, they truly care about my dogs. He has had 2 surgeries here and he’s completely back to normal. I wouldn’t trust another hospital or get with my puppies!

First of all 5 star goes to the reception girl and 5 stars for doctors assistant. I took the cat there, despite calling out our name when we stood up he screamed you have sign pets name at front desk. Then he loudly said he wasn't ready yet. Spent less than 10 min with my cat gave him shot and ear mite meds. Boom and I was done. I couldn't ask a single question I had because I was rushed. Came out very disappointed. I will never go back there. Your decision is upto you.

Dr John is the absolute best vet. He is compassionate, professional and kind to both pets and animals. He saved my cats life. I always recommend his practice.

READ MY REVIEW. LOTS OF POOR REVIEWS YET THEY SOMEHOW MAINTAIN HIGH RATING!!! Arrived early for dog appointment. Elderly doctor asked what's wrong with my Dog. I said he has a small lump by his neck, which I'd told receptionist who made appointment earlier that day. He replied, "I don't have time to do anything for your dog today. I'm about to leave. You can come back." Stunned, I asked why they'd scheduled appointment if that was the case. Annoyed, he got a needle & stabbed my dog in the neck. He said "I missed it (the lump). You gotta come back" Vet then called tall Caribbean assistant (not a vet) who felt my dogs lump & said 'he needs a $1300 surgery.' I said, "I just paid that on prior visit for neutering. I can't do it again." Assistant loudly says to Vet "he can't afford $1300" as if vet suffers from compromised cognitive abilities. Vet says, "can you do $900?" Assistant says "No, $1000." I asked how they determine surgery prices without proper exam. Vet leaves room scribbling on paper as assistant starts song & dance about how all roads lead to surgery. Vet returns & tells me to come back so Dr. Campanile can EXAMINE DOG, run blood tests & schedule $1300 surgery. The entire 4 minute visit was spent with an assistant dictating surgery price for a vet about a dog with no thorough examination & they charged me $65 for standing there during the conversation. My dog has been lethargic since being stabbed with needle. He was extremely energetic when we arrived at vet. Hopefully he will be ok. If you love your pet & have an emergency, consider going elsewhere. The inhumane, compassionless way my pet (& other reviewers pets) were treated here is beyond unethical.

It sounds pretty affordable so hopefully my Tiger will be in good, effective and proficient hands for her surgery.

We've been taking our pets here for 20 years super professional very smart warm caring veterinarians and staff

I do not recommend this vet. Although I went to address some mental issues since he came from the shelter, this "Dr." did not even bother to look in my dogs' ears, nose, mouth or listen to his heartbeat, just prescribed meds. Give me a break - talk about an assembly line - he spent 10 minutes tops with my dog - shame!

I have to say I am very happy with the way the dr. And staff treat my dog.

Had to board my baby!! They took good care of her.

My dog’s face was swollen and she was unresponsive and lethargic. We called and they said to bring her in. My daughters had to wait for over and hour & still weren’t called in to see the vet. They wound up leaving and taking her to Verg just a few blocks away. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Unfortunately...ive had to bring my dog when there time came. They were very caring n understanding n would revisit for any emergency I had. Ive been with Dr C for ages..hes taken care of all my dogs

front desk receptionist essentially blamed me for my kittens death. Zero compassion still waiting for the Vet to call me back.

We had to put down a very dear family member. Our regular vet was closed & we did not want her to suffer. They were kind and considerate.

My Puppy has been going to Dr. Campanile since he was 6mths old he's now going on 8yrs. old. I no longer live in Brooklyn but we still take the trip it's worth. They also do boarding. Oh and I can't forget Frank he loves all those lil guys????

Great staff. My cat was very comfortable during his visit. He was treated with great care and the vet was very understanding and answered all my questions.

Just took my dog to have nails trimmed. Dr campanile and his staff are the best. I could not get in to see my vet. Called Dr Campaniles office in June. My dog needed shots. His staff said come on over. My dog as well as me treated like gold. Thank you!And of course there is Frank who has been there 30+ years.
