One of the workers there was so professional, and talking very loud about her personal life. Stating that person should go to hell. Very rude and made very unnecessary comments when everyone was just minding their business. She needs to learn to be professional at work. If you simply don’t like your job get a new one, don’t take it out on the people!!!

Today I took Ashley to Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge, I called ahead and I was told that I didn't need to make an appointment, that I could just walk in before 4 pm. I got there around 3:00 pm waited around 2 hours because there was a long waiting list, that was the only down part, around 5 pm Ashley was seen by a very kind Vet, her name is Dr. Ninette Ibrahim and she has a great team working with her. Ashley was diagnosed with skin allergy and was given 3 shots, the service was very attentive and excellent, the consultation was 25 and for the e shots Ashley received totaled $178 dollars. I highly recomend this place.

I went there because the exam fee was great for the tight budget i have. But got charged an extra fee without being asked before they did it.... It's very rude. I was upset.

These guys are incredibly warm and welcoming. The love they show to our pets is very constructive to making us pet owners relived and happy . From The receptionist to the Dr i had the best experience in my 3 visits thus far .

The only Vet that saw my dog after giving birth same day I brought her in. The others gave me 2 week appointments and up too a month. I wish I found this spot earlier... unfortunately it was too late for my dog, she had a dead pup inside which gave her a bad infection. Thanks too the other clinics that didn't want to see her.

Been here several times. They don’t do appointments so it’s walk in. Sometimes I end up waiting almost 2 hours while sometimes it takes only 5 minutes. I think things would work faster if they did appointments. Also one lady at the front desk does have a little attitude. The vets are super nice and gentle with my dog. My dog got her annual shots: Parvo, Rabies and Bordetella for around $150. They also do professional teeth cleaning which I’ll be taking my dog for since I heard they do a good job (price is around $500)

I don’t recommend this place. the front desk lady is always showing attitude, and she doesn’t understand what she is doing. I would prefer to pay more to go to hospital instead of this clinic.

This is a really affordable vet clinic compared to others and I think the quality is great but note that most of the time, they only accept walk-ins (which means waiting for 1.5hrs or less depending on the day) unless it’s really an emergency and you need an appointment. A doctor exam/consultation is $25 which is the best you can get in NYC. I’ve brought my dog here for annual shots ($117), dental cleaning ($550 because of anesthesia but note you also have to pay for blood work $168), when he was throwing up due to eating sand at the beach, and more. They charge like $Dr. Ibrahim is so knowledgeable and I have come to trust her well. I thought that my dog’s back teeth needed to be pulled but Dr. Ibrahim did such a great job that it was nearly good as new. The front desk is also nice and patient!

Reasonable price. Staff is very nice. Relatively small clinic and dated. And expect long wait time.

Friendly staff. Theyn managed social distancing well by sending texts when your turn was up.

If you’re going here, you’ll be waiting basically your whole day here. Front desk says they’ll be two people ahead then when you ask again after waiting almost two hours, she says there four people ahead. Better off going elsewhere, save your time and money????????

I had called a day before to ask if they applied nail caps on cats and the person I spoke to said yes but to come the next day in the morning due to them being busy. I came in the next day and signed in which asked for my last name, animals name, and (REASON FOR VISIT). I waited 3 hours for them to tell me they don’t apply nail caps. How do you guys not look at the sing in sheet and see what people are there for??? This is something that could have been said to me from the moment I got there. I didn’t bother asking if you guys applied nail caps when I got there because again, I had already called the day before and asked if you guys did that service just to be sure and so that I wouldn’t waste my time going there. You guys should really look at the sign in sheet and look at what your patients are there for and if there’s something that can’t be done then let the client know right away instead of having them wait until their turn to let them know it can’t be done. This is basic customer service. I understand it’s busy but it’s not an excuse to not look at the list and see what your patients are there for. Another thing that was unacceptable was this lady in the front with blonde hair and glasses who was being loud about the situation and didn’t even apologize for the miscommunication, Instead all she kept on saying is “no, we don’t do that here” then when I was waiting for my cat to get his nails trimmed she proceeded to say “we don’t apply that sh*t here” to her colleagues while I was in the room. I’m well aware of the controversy around nail caps but she didn’t know the circumstances I am in and the reasoning for the nails caps and it’s definitely not to prevent furniture scratching from what everybody assumes when they hear nail caps. Its for other serious reasonings. I didn’t appreciate her making that comment without her knowing the reasoning. Seems unorganized and like there’s poor communication between staff. Do better, have better communication amongst yourselves and the client, and at LEAST look through the sign in sheet to look at what your patients are there for just incase there’s something you guys don’t do at your establishment rather than having clients waits for hours just tell them it can’t be done. The only person that apologized was the male tech or assistant that brought me back my cat which I appreciate him for doing so.

Dr. Lynn Mastrangelo really ruined my day. After hours of waiting, she refused to schedule a spay appointment for my dog, because we have the blood work done at a different place. The staff told me over the phone that they could see reports from other vets but clearly the doctor didn’t like it and you could feel the change in her attitude, from indifferent to impatient, which make me think their price is low for a reason! 1. I don’t know about the other two doctors. But Dr. Lynn doesn’t seem to like dogs. 2. They don’t take appointments and their office hours are short, which means you could be spending hours waiting and not able to see the doctor before they close. 3. No social distancing in their small waiting room. No crowd control. As a client and a dog parent, this is a terrible experience. I’m going back to previous vet. Although the cost is higher, it’s so much efficient and I can feel the vet truly cares about pets. My dog would be in good hands.

I’ve been taking my dog here since he was a puppy from first shots to neutering to boosters to testing and I have always had an amazing experience. Dr. Ibrahim has a love for animals that’s so evident in the way she interacts with them. She treats animals with so much love and patience. I could not be happier to have her treat my dog and appreciate everything she’s done for him. She has a caring, calming presence and I wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else! I recently got a kitten who was a stray and had a really bad case of ear mites. She went above and beyond to take care of him and made sure he experienced as little stress as possible despite being extremely busy. She is so gentle and caring. There was a long wait (not surprised as she was the only vet in the office today) but took her time to answer our questions and explain exactly what needed to be done, aftercare etc. A long wait is NOT a big deal when you receive such quality service. I would have waited double the time! The (maybe new?) vet tech in the office who helped out (very tall and muscular, not sure of his name) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My dog was pretty scared but he spoke to him softly and was kissing / hugging him throughout the exam to help calm him down. This was not only helpful, but extremely empathetic and kind. He has a heart of gold and it shows. Amazing addition to the team! What more can you ask for? When your animals are family to you, all you want is for them to be treated with as much love and compassion as possible. That’s what you get when you come here and I highly recommend this office to anyone who wants their pet to have the highest level of care. It’s also an added bonus that their prices are great and there are no surprises or unnecessary anything. The staff is great and attentive as well. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Thank you so much for everything!

I am writing to Rescind my previous negative review of the Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge. It was meant for another Bay Ridge Vetinarian. I was in ERROR in my posting. My Roommate has been going to the Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge for 30 plus years with several animals. She and I have NOTHING BUT PRAISE for the entire Staff at Animal Clinic of Bay RIDGE. I AM grateful for the existence of The CARING of Dr Alexandru and the Wonderful, patient, and compassionate DR. Lynn Masterangelo They saw my cat on an emergency basis (without an appointment) and even though they were busy they took the time to give compassionate and professional attention and treatment
