This was my first time visiting this vet office - my dog is extremely dog anxious and can get easily overwhelmed. Everyone who came in contact with my dog was so understanding and did everything they could to make this as peaceful and calm an appointment as possible. I was honestly overwhelmed with how patient everyone was and how consistent the level of care was. I feel so confident putting my dog’s care in anyone’s hands here!

I called Beacon Veternarian early in the morning to see if they would be able to get my puppy in that I just got four days ago. They called me back with a sooner appointment then I already had. I was pleased as her cough was getting worse. Doctor started her on antibiotics and cough suppressants for Kennel Cough. Doctor was super nice and through with his examination. I would highly recommend Beacon Veternarian to anyone.

After our first visit for a wellness check this week, we highly recommend Beacon Veterinary. Everyone there is super friendly, kind, helpful and most importantly they were so good with our adored (and not very vet friendly!) cat. We feel reassured that her well-being is in good hands!

I've been taking my animals to the Beacon Veterinary Associates for several years now, and have always felt confident in their care for my pets. They don't push anything, and have always taken the time to explain treatments and my options. The techs and front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, and it's wonderful to have such a great office right on main Street. I highly recommend! Thanks for taking such good care of my babies!

I would have given 5 stars, if only there was someone to attend to clients at the reception when we came. After a while (and after tapping multiple times on the counter and walls of the hallway and calling if there was anyone inside — ‘coz I could hear people talking), it was the vet himself who received me and another client (we even joked that we could volunteer), and we were told the staff were all on their lunch break. I’m actually more concerned about all their stuff out in the open. They were apologetic, though, for keeping us waiting and for having no one at the front desk at the time of our appointment. I also understand that they just also moved in recently to that location and that they are really short-staffed. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience. They explained very well the suggested exams/treatment that they would do to my cat, Pancho, and the cost for each. But they did not force us to get everything all at once. They were very accommodating with all of my questions since I haven’t brought Pancho to a vet in a long while, and I really had a lot of questions. They gave very satisfactory answers and even gave recommendations especially on matters of pet insurance. Some items may be pricey but I think the costs are just reasonable. They were also very gentle with Pancho. I know he got stressed a bit but only because it was a new environment for him and he had to get vaccinated which would require needles and I know Pancho wasn’t too happy about that. ???? Towards the end, they also gave a receipt with the breakdown of the services we received and a reminder for next year’s round of vaccination. We were also given a certificate for the rabies vaccination. Space was also very clean and furnishings are pleasing to the eyes. We will definitely come back. ???? Thanks to Dr. Rogers, Darryl (who assisted the doctor) and Melanie (who scheduled our appointment a few weeks back)! ???????? PS: I also hope you took out the wrong website in the Google Maps that doesn’t make any more appointments for the clinic. I tried doing that the first time, and we came thinking we got the appointment but it turned out the website was not working anymore. Also, the first time we came, it was on a Friday, and I understand they just moved in a few days earlier so everything was still in disarray. So I left my number and was told someone will call me the following Monday. I was expecting a callback, but I didn’t get any so I called Tuesday, and that was when I was passed on to Melanie so she can set up the appointment for us, which was a few weeks away but it was ok. Glad we were able to be seen eventually! ????

This time last year I used Beacon Vet for the first time and absolutely fell in love. Technicians were friendly, informative and timely. The vet is very informative and tells it like it is very down to earth. She lays out all the options for your pet, the effectiveness of treatment, and costs. This office is very transparent and I highly recommend. Some of their care options are much more pricey than surrounding vets, however, the quality of the care and convenience of the location make up for it. Recently they have moved locations which can be a stressful time for staff. However, techs could not answer questions when asked, timely wait (30+ min) for my animal to be brought out post visit and not supporting animal carrier from the bottom when transporting to prevent dropping/swinging of pet. I am confident with more exposure to clientele in the new space and continued education this office provides their tech - my next visit will run much more smoothly.

I had high hopes for this Vet when I committed to having them care for my puppy. The experience has been very disappointing. They don’t respond to emails and it’s very difficult to get through to them on the phone. They have a lack of care and no sense of urgency. It’s really upsetting to encounter this indifference when is comes to your pet.

Changing my review from 5 to 2 stars. If they can't answer my questions in a timely manner, and do so courteously, that's not who I want taking care of my pup. I'm actually a pet owner who asks questions, and wants to make sure I'm doing the right thing for my pet. Maybe they aren't used to that ????♀️ I understand time contraints... that's not the issue. The issue is how it was handled. I was going to say "I have more questions, when you have time", but couldn't get the second part out before she started freaking out on me. Like really? Then she said to email her with questions which weren't answered for a week. My questions were only answered after I called to complain. I had also called after I sent the email, and the office staff said she had it, however, when she finally got around to replying, she blamed it on the office staff, stating she had only received the email the day prior. Shouldn't you WANT pet owners to be informed, and make the right decision for their pet? Or is it all about the money? I've spent an insane amount there, so I would think she would have been a bit nicer. Also, let me add that symptoms I had been reporting for months went unnoticed as possible Cushing's Disease. If you don't have patience with me, how are you going to have patience with my pet who I'm not allowed to see while they are examining her? No video consult, or at the bare minimum the possiblity to examine my pet outside, during nicer weather, so I can be with her during the exam. You just drop off your pet and pray they are in good hands, but know NOTHING as to what is actually happening in there. I really don't care how other vets do it, if they cared about the owners and the pets, there'd be more accountability on their part. And let's not even talk about how they ALWAYS get me for a pet waste fee on a consult. I can't confirm that's even accurate, especially when she JUST went potty before her visit. I'm including a pic of my pup, because...wellllll...I can.... and why not... she's super cute.

First visit and everything went well. Dr. Fitch was very friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. Being first time dog/puppy owner is stressful enough. Having a great vet that's close by in Beacon is awesome!

we are new to Beacon and i have a fun loving bulldog who just needs maintenance here and there. The team at The Beacon Veterinary Associates were so welcoming and communicative. There was nothing to wonder about, they guided us through the new patient experience really nicely. Dr. Fitch is super accessible even though she is VERY busy. Just a great vibe from a team who obviously adores animals.
