The only place to go if you want premium care for your pet. My dog was at another animal hospital and was misdiagnosed twice for an ear infection. Dr. Roiland looked at her ear and diagnosed the proper remedy on the spot.

me and my family have been going here for over fifteen years, no vet or clinic has ever treated me as well as amityville. i tried changing vets when i moved due to the travel time but i couldn't find anyone that could beat or even match their standards.

I can not thank my vet Amityville Animal Hospital and Dr. Roiland enough for all of their patience, compassion and honesty. Dr. Roiland has been treating my animals for many years. A year ago our beloved cat was not doing well. He saw us immediately and gave us all the information needed to make a very difficult decision. He sat with me and gave me the time necessary to absorb what we needed to do. Most recently my multipoo was limping and again Dr. Roiland made room in his busy schedule to see us. He takes great care and compassion with the animals he sees, whether its for shots, injuries or very difficult decisions. I would recommend Amityville Animal Hospital & Dr. Roiland because they truly care about their patients.

If I could give Dr Roland and his staff, more stars I would. I’m a registered nurse so I’m ultra picky of who my dog sees. I just want good care for my dog. This is what you get at Amityville Animal hospital. Sometimes, I can’t get in to see him, but that’s not his fault. It’s mine. He is so popular. Plus, my dog is a SCWT and he tends to have these last min emergencies. The staff always accommodates me. But when I do go, my dog is not even anxious. He is a animal whisperer. In fact, my fur baby ran in to Dr Roland’s office. He takes the time, no matter how busy he is. He is knowledgeable , and his cost to see him are beyond reasonable. Trust me. He even called me today on a Saturday to give blood work and urine results after working a long day. I actually told his staff- he is too cheap for his expertise. He is very respectful, loves his craft, and all around a good human , along with his staff. We need more people like this. I’m moving out of state - 4 hours away and I’m keeping him as my vet. You can’t put a price or time on quality. You have to bring your animal- to his office. They will find out what’s going on.

I've been coming here with my furbabies since I was in my early 20's when Dr. Cucaro and Dr. Kooperschmit first owned the practice. When Dr. Roiland and Dr. Wright took over it was a no brained to stay with them. They've been amazing with all of my animals throughout every stage of their lives!! I always recommend my friends and family to them.

Dr. Is very nice n returns calls promptly.the receptionist are quite.confused. can't get appointment for 2 weeks. N when check out they dont know meds you are suppose to get. Tell you too try another vet if can't wait for 2 weeks apt.

Have taken all of my animals here and it has always felt like family. My dogs actually enjoy seeing the doctors and techs. Will bring all my animals here and recommend to everyone

Dr Wright is a great inexpensive vet. Very caring and thorough without pushing extra tests, vaccines or procedures.

Dr. Roiland is a wonderful family man who genuinely cares about his clients! He has taken care of my pet rats as well as our dogs and now he is taking care of our ferrets. He is the best and always accommodating despite being very busy because of his great reputation. Would not go anywhere else. I would give more stars if I could! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

He truly cares about the animals before anything, extremely knowledgeable, great Dr and have complete trust that his judgement is always in the best interest of my dog. I feel 100% confident recommending him to anyone! Even though we now live in Smithtown I would still only ever bring my dog to him and would never consider going anywhere else.

I have been bringing my dogs here for almost 9 years very good people and reasonable prices,good advice.

I have trouble putting into words how wonderful Dr. Roiland is because words, simply are not enough. He takes his time with my precious Nathan. He treats him like he is one of his own pets. When I speak to him after Nathan’s visit, I can hear the compassion in his voice. I am never cut short. He listens to all my concerns. I came to Amityville Animal Hospital to find healthcare for my pets, I found so much more, a friend. Dr. Roiland gives so much of himself to his profession. This man is truly doing God’s work. The love and patience he has for our loved ones is genuine. Thank you, Dr. Roiland! You have been such a blessing to our family.

Dr. Roiland is a treasure, protect him at all costs.

This doctor has a heart and is a family man. It is a busy practice. You should check him out although I go to a place closer to my home now.

I been going to this Animal Hospital for a long time taken care few of my pet. Staff and Doctors is very caring and knows what your pets needs to vet well again.

This is the most wonderful veterinary practice I have ever been to. Dr. Roiland and Dr. Wright are absolutely amazing. I have been bringing my Pomeranian Gus here since he was 10 weeks old he is now six. The ladies at the front desk are eager to help and they are always so sweet and the vet techs are wonderful. I can not speak the praises of Dr.Roiland enough. He is the kindest most compassionate, intelligent, friendliest and most importantly INTEGRITY. That’s the most important of all and very difficult too find in today’s world. He’s not about money he is about the animal. He has NEVER steered us wrong when it comes to our dog. I can’t thank Dr. Roiland and his staff enough for taking such good care of my dog Pauly. For the last 6+ years, Dr. Roiland has treated my dog from acute skin issues to a torn ACL. No matter how major/technical the issue has been, he always makes sure to take his time out to ensure my family and I understand the situation. He’s one of the most genuine human beings I have ever meet, and someone I can’t thank enough for all that he has done. Even though the operation of his business his business has pivoted due to covid, him and his staff and put nothing but love and hard work to ensure each patient is treated with the love they need. The best way I can describe Dr. Roiland, is that one awesome teacher we all had, mine was Mr. Schmidt, that would stay after class to ensure all his students understood everything. If you want a TRUE genuine and loving teacher, who is not just a good Vet but the BEST Vet, than look no further. Dr. Roiland and the staff at Amityville Animal Hospital is the place to go. Thank you again Dr. Roiland for all you’ve done for Pauly and my family. P.S. I have seen some negative reviews regarding the recent change in the business and while I understand the extra waiting time is annoying, the staff is working extra hard just to ensure your pets and loved ones are safe and healthy. Please cut them some slack and try to put yourself in their shoes.

Throughout the years Dr Roiland has been not only a great physician regarding diagnosis and treatment but also wonderful in regard to kindness and Compassion. He listens closely without rushing and truly has your pet and your best interest at heart. He is definitely in the right profession. I trust him immensely.
