Over all good however they have charged me hundreds for procedures to my dog not performed,I feel they are getting to busy to give the care they once did...

As always, I am super impressed with this business. I was very worried about my dog and these kind folks got me in at the last minute. Just before the holidays, too! I have been using them for years, and they never disappoint.

The vet I see, Dr Meyer, is the best I've ever encountered. She is smart and also very nice.

They fit us in with an emergency w had with our pup. Very pleasant staff and clean facility. All made my pup and us feel comfortable. Explained everything so we could understand how to best help our pup heal.

Couldn't get an appointment through, they're not seeing any "new clients" even though we had both of our cats spayed here. Didn't offer any alternatives or at least try to help. Kind of rude actually, just a shame we've been going to the same vet for over 12 years.

I just wanted to thank everyone who works here. I came in today with my foster dog Joey and the staff carried him in his crate from the car and back out to the car, the receptionists are always extremely polite, professional and very helpful and Dr. Green was very patient and supportive and provided such excellent care for Joey. I just thought you might all want to know what a wonderful job you are doing!

Dr. Hotaling has looked after our dog since we got him as a pup nearly 10 years ago. That in itself tells the tale. I've appreciated Dr. H's care and openness about what's needed (and not) and why.

We take our dog here and have found them to be the best Vet office in the area. Dr. Gliserman is professional, kind and exceptionally knowledgeable. We have also had experience with Dr. Schnee who was excellent as well. Our dog is happy and healthy thanks to the vets here.

Dr. Schnee and the rest of the staff are always fantastic. They provide great care for our dog, and he's always happy to arrive there! I've never had a problem finding street parking out front.

To be perfectly honest, my experience yesterday was unfortunately exactly what I have come to expect from Parkside. The vet I dealt with was rude and dismissive, my cat was given medicines that I’m not even sure why he needed, the chronic condition he has was not even addressed even though that was part of why he was brought in. I am still shocked by the experience I had yesterday and I’m not sure why because this is the experience I have every time I come there. My cat was brought in for bloody diarrhea and bloody snot when he sneezes. His records show he has a history of chronic upper respiratory infections, his eyes were drippy and his nose was crusted with snot and blood and somehow none of that was considered during his visit. Somehow $450 later he is barely treated for any thing except nausea, but he wasn’t vomiting so I’m unsure why that is his treatment. Maybe if the vet took the time to come out and explain things to me further when I requested it I would be less angry. But I was told it was closing time and he had to go home so I’d get a call later. When the vet called he suggested keeping Hamilton overnight with no real explanation as to why, I assume it’s so you can continue to get more money out of people who don’t know better. I declined and when a tech called me back to review his medications she asked if those were okay because she knew I was trying to save money. I was also encouraged to come as soon as possible to pick him up because they wanted to close at 5, even though usually they’re open til 7. This entire experience was unacceptable. I’m out $450, plus the cost of whatever other medication I’m picking up today. And I have zero understanding of what exactly was/is wrong with my cat. The one thing I know, that I knew before, was that he has upper respiratory infections. And somehow, the one thing we do know, is the one thing left untreated and ignored. I will never, and I do mean never, return to Parkside. This is the last time in a string of many many negative experiences and I have learned my lesson. I will also ensure every one I know hears about this experience.

Money first, pets second. That was my experience after taking my dog there for 3 years before I had enough. They seriously wanted to talk about why I should use their brands of medications more than the actual health of my dog. I had 2 separate emergencies with my dog and they had ZERO interest in helping because I didn't schedule an appointment. You know what I overheard one of the workers say to the receptionist on one of my visits? She said "Only accept same day visits from NEW customers." It's almost like taking care of customers who've been going there for years isn't as important as potential NEW paying customers ($$$) that they can jam into their already overbooked schedule. I only give them 2 stars because they never injured my dog and some of the workers there are nice. I know it's a business, but seriously, they should change their name to Park$ide, it'd be more fitting.

The staff were always great with my cat and when he died, they were extremely sensitive and accommodating. It was a very tough loss, but the staff were sympathetic, patient and kind and I’m very grateful for that.
