Great place to take your animal for care or a check-up!

We've been taking our cat to Normanside Vet Clinic since we got him as a kitten 19 years ago. For every routine visit and occasional emergency visit, we knew our cat was in good hands. Their staff from receptionist to technicians to doctors who treated our ???? was extremely professional and caring. When the time came recently when our dear one was too sick and frail to continue living, the staff showed such compassion in helping us make that difficult and final decision.

Again second vet who won't take in any new clients. Receptionist was very apologetic which wasn't necessary. Again you should find a way to offer alternatives to my situation instead of telling me that if you take me in you have to take everyone else. Unfortunately I'm thinking about my cat not everyone else pet.

Quick appointments, friendly service, and they take COVID seriously!

I have been taking our many animals to Normanside over the past many years. I have always been happy with the services provided, and Dr. Sikora has been an amazing and kind vet.

I brought my dogs here almost my entire childhood. Ended up moving out of town but when I needed a health certificate to get my dogs to Hawaii while in Albany again, I didn't hesitate to call normanside. They spent so much time understanding the requirements for our specific situation (it's very difficult to get dogs to Hawaii since there's no rabies on island). They went above and beyond to give my dogs the love and care that they needed along with all of the paperwork done to exact requirements. Thank you, normanside! The dogs are in Hawaii happy and healthy now! ????????

I love this place. Everyone here obviously love animals and Dr Sikura is my favorite vet ever. She cares so much, has cried with me over hard decisions and explains everything very clearly.

I was my first visit to this vet. My cat is very anxious and a cries a lot. Dr. Rafter was wonderful, also Alex, the assistant and the receptionist lady. We needed whole bunch of things to get done because we would fly to Florida. My George was quiet and relaxed even when Dr. Rafter had to take his body temp ( rectally)! Caring helpful pet care

Loving staff and reasonable rates. Pretty much ideal.

Prices are good and not inflated like some places. Friendly staff, especially their doctors. They make it a relaxed experience even in stressful situations.

Got Very Good Care and Info for my new puppy

These are very nice people as well as being competent veterinarians. And they really care about my dog, taking the time to discuss his eating and other behaviors. The price is right, too.

We see Doctor Sakora and she is wonderful. She provides excellent compassionate care for our animals. She doesn't push unnecessary treatment and the prices are very reasonable.

Staff are knowledgeable and there is rarely a long wait. Very affordable but still able to offer quality care.

My dog is sick and Normanside Vet won't see her. The place is a ghetto and, and in my opinion, regularly overcharges for inadequate services. I remember paying $45 dollars for banana scented amoxicillin. A human can get a one month supply for $5!. When I call, the receptionist is often unsure of the clinic's processes, policies and procedures. While I believe there is generally a problem with vet services these days Normanside appears to be on the lower end of those services. I spent about $1,700 at this vet and I can't get squeezed in for a 15 minute appointment for something she is being treated for by this vet?. They took my $1,700 but won't follow up on treatment because it is not convenient for them. New clients beware.

Everyone is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. They helped my kitty a lot.

Nancy Sikora is good; I don't trust the part-time vet I met; the receptionist didn't impress me at all. Just my opinion. But if you can get past the receptionist and schedule Sikora, you're good to go.
