Love the warm caring staff who are always eager to help with our dogs. Four of my dogs have received excellent care here. I highly recommend!

I took my baby in because she had a super upset stomach. The staff was so responsive and helpful. They communicated throughout the whole process and kept my stress as low as possible. I highly recommend taking your animals here whether it's routine or an emergency.

Dr. Cole is great but her staff and receptionists are rude and uncaring. Moved all our pets to Kokopelli Veterinary clinic where they actually care.

Dr Cole has been our vet for 16 years. She has provided outstanding care for our 4 dogs and I wouldn’t trust them with a one else. My yorkie was recently diagnosed with diabetes and Dr Cole provided her with medication that made am immediate change. Her staff is kind and professional and provides excellent service. They do a great job. We have been there multiple times and under the circumstances, each time was a good experience.

We took our black lab puppy there and got her Parvo shots. However, they kept telling us that we needed more and more shots for her and that we couldn’t even take her outside. They said we needed 5 Parvo shots. We weren’t even able to talk to the actual vet when asking questions. We later contacted Banfield Pet Hospital at Petsmart and they were confused as to why Malaherd was giving us the run around. Not only did they give us helpful information right away, but they also provide puppy vaccinations for free! Go to Banfield Pet Hospital instead and save yourself $120 and a lot of miss information.

Dr Cole and the staff are the best. Dr Cole takes the time to really look into the true issues related to my pets. She spends time after hours emailing me update and taking her time off to help make sure KASS is taken care of. I realize she can’t be everywhere all the time but I know when she says she will do something it gets done. Dr Cole and the staff are polite and professional they try and help when with all the Covid restrictions new ways of doing business are pretty hard if you ask a question you get an answer and they are always willing to help. Great Job Dr Cole and Staff your awesome!!!

Recently adopted a new puppy and took her here to get her initial check up and vaccines. The check up was not informative at all and we left without any helpful knowledge on how to care for our new puppy. In addition, we were repeatedly told contradicting information regarding how many shots she needed each time we had an appointment and that she would need “ just one more round” of shots before she was good to go. After 4 puppy shots at 15 weeks and still being told she needs “one more round”, and never actually speaking with the veterinarian only dealing with the staff, we decided to get a second opinion. After a short phone call with another clinic our suspicions of being bamboozled were confirmed. I’m not sure if it is lack of knowledge and experience on the staffs end or a scheme to bleed naive first time pet owners dry, but regardless be wary and do your research before proceeding to commit to appointments with the clinic.

Dr. Cole and I merely were not on the same page. She is a fine Dr., but she has a more holistic approach and my "kiddo" needed a stronger approach with a problem he's had his entire life. Her office is incredibly busy and it was very hard to speak to her by phone or otherwise.

Just got home from my first visit with my Yorkiepoo puppy Charlie. First off, I was helped through an extremely stressful situation the previous week by the tech Brit. I also had Brit for my appointment today and I will say she is one of the most compassionate people I have met. I had some things going on in my personal life that affected how I responded to an issue and she was nothing but amazingly patient and genuinely caring with me during the entire process. I truly believe she cares, about animal and human alike. I also met Dr. Cole today and she too was extremely thorough, patient and very friendly with both myself and Charlie. She took the time to answer all my questions and had a wealth of knowledge to give, especially since Charlie is my first small breed pup. I feel much more equipped to handle any issue that comes up in the future. I can’t comment on pricing because I didn’t shop around. However, I wasn’t shocked with the bill and I felt the experience was well worth it. Thank you Brit and Dr. Cole for a wonderful first appointment for Charlie. He was happy the entire time and will not be hesitant to go back! ????????

Cannot say enough positive things about this place. We had to put our elderly dog down finally after it became apparent it was time. The staff was amazing. They were accommodating and caring. I cannot speak to the "vet services" other than the process of putting down our dog. However, they were more than comforting and easy to work with for the process. It was a difficult decision and time, the entire staff handled it very very well and cannot say enough about the business. I hope when we get another pet, we will be able to take it back to this office and see if the rest of the services are in line with the experience we had. Update, we are currently taking our new dog to Malaherd. They are amazing. Cannot recommend them enough. From the staff to Dr. Cole best vet we have ever had. Highly recommended.

Wonderful caring Doctor and staff. My Lacey's place of healing and care

Dr. Cole was my dogs' vet for 9 years. She helped my female pit bull through heartworm recovery and cancer, and my male pit bull through eating the irrigation tubes, a scorpion sting, and all the other shenanigans he could possibly get into. My dogs love her and the only reason I don't still bring them is I moved out of state. It's hard to find another vet I can really trust after her being our vet of choice for so long. Even they seem a little confused when I take them to the new vet because I think they expect to see Dr. Cole. She loves her patients and often got right down on the floor with my doggos. You can't find a better vet for your dogs (I don't know about cats- he went to a cat clinic) in Albuquerque.

Dr. Cole and all her wonderful staff are so caring about their patients and clients. I felt so welcomed and heard! Before this, I went to a more corporate vet and definitely didn't have as personal of an experience as I did at Malaherd. Dr. Cole made every effort to help me find solutions to my cat's allergies (after curing him of his bacterial infection) and spent a lot of time listening to me and giving me her expertise. Another thing, she allows your pet and you in the room (no more than that), which I absolutely loved because I was able to ask questions without feeling rushed (like for a curbside vet visit at the corporate vet I went to). Thank you so much, Dr. Cole and the amazing staff at Malaherd!!

Locally owned vet. Very impressed at how thorough they are. Nice place. Dr. Cole returned my call and discussed my concerns over the phone. Thank you ???? While I was there they also made time for another client's emergency visit.

An incredible place the staff and Dr Cole are amazing even with the new precautions, Dr Cole and staff make it such a personal and caring experience, my fur babies and myself felt our welfare and saftey were paramount. They are my vet for life!!! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Cole and her staff are very responsive and it is easy to get an appointment. Because of Covid I have not been able to meet Dr. Cole in person, but she takes the time to either come to the phone to speak with me or call me at the end of her day. I feel that she truly cares.

When we moved to ABQ frkm Phoenix last year, we needed to find a vet for our fur baby. We got lucky and picked Malaherd on the first try. Everything about them is top notch. Chloe says hi!

I took my dog with severe anxiety to them today so that I could get him established with a regular vet, and I can't get over how amazing Dr. Cole and Jody were with him. Their main goal was to make sure he didn't have a bad experience so that he wasn't afraid. Typically, he doesn't eat when he's anxious, but those two had him eating peanut butter off of a spoon. The time and care they took with him really made me feel comfortable about trusting his care to them. Thank you so much for such a positive experience.
