My 7 month old puppy loves Caring Paws! The staff is wonderful and very patient with my active little guy! They ask me every visit how much to feed in case the amount has changed since the little guy is growing. They play and interact with the dogs and my dog (Mantequilla) knows when it is time to go to "school" because he will yelp and jump with excitement.

Don’t use Caring Paws Doggy Daycare. I would never trust my dog to Caring Paws Doggie Daycare. He was there yesterday, 6/13, when he was bitten twice by another dog. They have both large and small dog areas, but put my 9 pound dog in with the large dogs, including one they barely knew, who bit him. He was not taken to the vet, which should have been done to protect him from infection. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG! I don't like to bad mouth businesses, but I am very upset with this place and how they cared for my dog and want to warn others. In the large dog area was a husky that had not been thoroughly vetted--this was the dog that attacked my dog. A dog you don't know should not be in the general pack--this was very poor judgment on the part of this business.

The people here have always been super friendly to me and my fur baby. I especially appreciate the early & regular hours that they keep (they're open 7am-8pm every day) which makes dropping off the dog before work one less headache to deal with. They also offer discounted daycare packages which is great if you're dropping your dog off daily/regularly. P.S. They are LOCAL! So you know that the money you spend with them is staying in the community.

We travel from Denver to Albuquerque regularly to visit relatives. While in Albuquerque a few years ago, we discovered Caring Paws and our dog Beau loved the daycare! Recently, we brought our second generation of Labrador to the wonderful staff at Caring Paws and we got exactly the same reaction! Our 8 month old Charlie could not wait to return the next day to play and play. Caring staff, easy hours and drop in services. I love that he got to play in the water on a warm day! As we are looking to relocate to Albuquerque, I can guarantee that Charlie is going to be a regular at Caring Paws! Hope my pup can greet your pup soon :)

I love having my pups here! One of mine is a little tough and his whole way of being is so much better! The caregivers are outstanding and Daniel and Caitlin respond promptly to any questions I have. They have a special room for smaller dogs that my little one goes into when tired of the bigger pups! Highly recommend!

We love this place! My furbaby has been going here for 4 years for boarding and daycare. The staff is so kind and always have my furbaby ready to go when I arrive. They truly love my dog. Where else wiill you find an owner that will get down on his knees to hug and kiss your furbaby goodbye?

This is the best dog care place we've seen or used. We've had dogs for 30+ years - no kennel/dog care we've ever used has matcheed the service and quality of care we experienced here at Caring Paws. We've recommended this place to numerous friends and ALL of our friends have had great experiences. The owners, Daniel & Caitlin, are great - friendly, helpful and they love dogs; just the kind of people we want to our dogs with. They've continued to provide great service all through COVID. They are careful and conscientious to observes all the protocols. They really keep the place clean, not easy to do with a bunch of dogs. We've never had any problems, only had great experiences with the staff. And all our friends who've brought their dogs have had equally good experiences. Not one complaint.

We have been using Caring Paws for all-day daycare and boarding since 2012. My 2 dogs LOVE the staff more than they love me, I'm a little bit jealous! The owners and staff, especially Brea, give my dogs a lot of attention, like they are the greatest dogs that ever lived. Which they are, but CPDDC treats all their dogs the same way, even when they are super busy. We've never had scratches, injuries or any sickness from daycare or boarding. This place is a local business, very convenient in my neighborhood, their prices are the best around, and I (an essential worker) am are so grateful that they stayed open during this pandemic.

Great place because of great people! It makes a world of difference to be able to leave your pups with people you trust. They know what they are doing in working with dogs, and they clearly love their work and the pets that stay there. You don't get that just anywhere ...

We went into this place with our 9 lb Chihuahua to do the 2 hour trial session and make sure she would do well before we dropped her off for boarding in the future. When we did drop her off we had mostly stayed in the parking lot her trial, where we could overhear the dogs barking and the staff yelling loudly at the dogs. When we were ready to go back in to pick her up and see how she did, the staff said that she would try to jump over the wooden fence that separates the large dog and small dog area. That's the all they said. After we made it home, we noticed our dog limping and upon further inspection we had realized that she had some very bad scraps and cuts along her belly and hind legs that had caused her to bleed. We assume that this was from her being anxious and trying to jump the wooden fence, but it would have been nice for the staff to have let us know about the injury before we discovered our dog was in pain. All of this was from our dog being there for just less than 2 hours. I realize it was mostly our dog that possibly inflicted the harm on herself, but this place can very unsafe for dogs who jump, even if they are small.

Two night stay for my pup. He was limping when I picked him up and we went straight to the vet. For both dropping him off and picking him up, had to ask staff to mask up - it’s clearly not part of their culture in the midst of the pandemic and is also illegal. On picking him up, no one was around and I had to yell before an unmasked employee came out. Smaller dogs had left their enclosure through a gate left open and were running about unattended. We won’t be back.

Our dogs have so much fun here! They come home exhausted after a full day of playing and running around with all the other dogs. We've also used them for boarding when we go on travel. We're very satisfied with how well they're taken care of there. The staff there is always so kind and helpful. I couldn't recommend this place more!

My dog can't wait to go and almost pulls me over in his haste to get in. They have always been very friendly and unlike another facility they were willing to work with him to become comfortable with day care as he is still quite young. The pricing is good with a discount if you pay for 10 visits. There is no additional cost for giving him lunch.

It's been a while since I've brought my pup here, but I cannot stress how wonderful they are! I loved that I got to have a test visit before leaving her for a long weekend. They were wonderful for daycare as well as overnight stays.

Worst place ever!!! Do not take your dog here! They won’t take care of them. My dog came home with his eye irritated and a bite on his leg.

We have been bringing our dogs here for several years, and Caring Paws is the best. Not fancy, easy going, and the folks who work here just all genuinely love dogs. Our dog Shay walks around holding her leash in the morning to see if she gets to go to doggie day care!

I've been taking my dogs here for a few years. I LOVE the fact that, when you pull up, all you see are dogs running around like the wild animals they are! Lots of space to roam, lots of socializing... and so affordable!! My boys are dirty and tired when they get home- it's awesome!!!

I work down the road from this daycare. Hearing the way one of the male employees screams and cusses at the dogs when they bark is completely unnerving. I would never, ever recommend or trust my dog to someone who treats animals this way, and I've never even been in the door.

I highly recommend Caring Paws. The staff seems like they like dogs and they have been really nice in every interaction I've had as well. My two dogs, one a corgi mix and the other a German Shepard mix puppy, are always excited when we drive up to daycare and always worn out when I pick them up. Both of my pups aren't fans of the dog door to enter the main dog area but the employees have been kind enough to walk them the back way instead. I've now used Caring Paws for boarding as well, the pups look well feed and loved so I have nothing but praise for this place. The cost is competitive and totally worth it.

So we have never boarded our dogs before and were nervous. Every single employee was incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful. Most importantly, instead of our dogs coming home in shock they are happier than ever. Will definitely use this place again!

I have been taking my dog to Caring Paws five days a week for almost a year now. They have the best hours (7am to 8pm) and the best rates ($18 a day if you buy a ten day package). They will even feed your dog their food for no extra cost, …

I've taken my energetic puppy here many times and it's been fantastic! She gets to run off energy while I'm at work and then is calm and exhausted by the time we get home. A tired puppy is the best kind! I would absolutely recommend this place for daycare and/or boarding your dogs!

What a nice place. I brought my dog Moriarty in for a days stay with them while I was in Albuquerque for some business and I had Moriarty stay with them during the day when I was in class. The staff were friendly, the prices reasonable and I think Moriarty enjoyed it a lot. When I picked him up he didn't want to leave, but boy was he tired out. Normally he is still excited to see me and runs around the car but this time he just got in the chair and his eyes closed and he was out for a few hours as we drove back home. I only have two issues and one is minor, one slight less minor but should be addressed and I do not know if it is their issue or not. The first was that when I picked Moriarty up, he smelled a bit like pee and I had just had him groomed the day before because I wanted him clean and nice for the trip. So I am not sure if it was just the nature of the fact of doggy day cares and all those dogs peeing in the same area or they don't spray the areas enough to keep the area they play in clean enough, but it should be mentioned. The second was the Moriarty was extremely thirsty when I picked him up. He drank an entire bowl of water. I am not sure if they included enough water in the area so that he kept hydrated or not, but normally he isn't thirst when I pick him up for areas. I am not saying they didn't provide water, it is very likely that they did and he just didn't drink because he was having too much fun and didn't want to take the time to drink, probably the more likely of the two, but because of the two issues I will give them a 4 star, though I would give them a 4 1/2 if I could and I would bring him there again in a heartbeat if I come out that way again. The staff that I met was incredibly friendly, they took good care of him as far as I can tell and he was tired as he should be from being in a day care and playing with all those dogs and the staff. Great place, friendly staff, other than the two minor issues, that I will freely admit might be normal, as this was the first daycare I have ever left him at that let him run around with other dogs all day and didn't keep him in a special room, they should be mentioned.
