**Updated to add that we have continued putting our kitten in the care of the VCA and everyone has gone above and beyond caring for Squeaky ❤????????‍⬛ We took our 4 month old kitten for her first visit. The vet was very kind and thorough. So far, we are satisfied and found them all to be fair in their services.

Tried booking my cat his yearly shots and getting him medically groomed because he is too aggressive without anesthesia, i schedule an appointment only to find shortly after that they cant service me because they have 2 staff members that are allergic to cats. Lmao what?? Get a different profession. This place is ridiculous

In dire need of help with my pet. They were very short on the phone. I did not appreciate it...

Great place. Great people. A bit pricey, but worth it for the kids, I mean cats.

I needed a refill on the heart worm medicine. They denied the medication because they haven’t made money off my dog recently. They said I’ll need to make an appointment to get them. Who does that?! I called every other vet around me and none of them wanted an appointment for the medication. So this place basically just threatened my dog inadvertently. Using the medication to extort me. Please don’t go here. They don’t care about your pet, just your money.

I have been bringing my rats here for a couple years and I have always had a wonderful experience. Dr. Cantamessa is great with exotic pets. She has spayed all of my rats and always keeps me well updated about their post operation condition. I never worry about my pets when they are at Eagle Rock Veterinary Hospital! The whole staff is very nice as well!

My partner and I have been bringing our dogs here for years and despite moving further away, continue to do so. Everyone we've met at Eagle Rock Animal Hospital has been truly wonderful and genuinely cares about our four-legged family members as much as we do. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

Dr. Cantamessa is the best veterinarian we could ever hope for . She takes very good care of our senior dog . She goes above and beyond to answer all our questions and concerns about his care . . The office staff is very professional and caring as well . We would not go anywhere else .

We've been taking our Bunny to Dr. Cantamessa for the last 6 years. She is wonderful with him and extremely knowledgeable. Their office staff and vet assistants are always professional and friendly. Their COVID safety protocols are wonderful. You don't even have to get out of your car!

In March, my senior dog started exhibiting some symptoms of discomfort and very rapidly declined. As a result of the shutdown, her regular vet was closed, and I was concerned about finding a vet that was taking patients, reliable, and within a reasonable distance from my home. My friend recommended Eagle Rock Veterinary Hospital, as that is where she has loyally taken her dogs for many years. I called them on a Saturday morning, and the receptionist, who was friendly and kind, made sure I was able to get an appointment that day. Based upon the condition of my dog, I thought for sure I would have to put her down and was completely distraught. These emotions were heightened by the current state of the world. Dr. Cantamessa and the staff were incredible throughout this experience. I was a new patient with a sick, senior dog and they treated me as if I were family. Dr. Cantamessa took the time to examine my dog and find the best treatment options for my dog (not for the business' wallet!). She was extremely patient with me and reassured me that she did not want my dog, or any animal, to suffer and would be available if my dog did not show any improvement in the next couple days. As promised, Dr. Cantamessa called to check in on my dog at her earliest opportunity on Monday. After some TLC and following doctor's orders, my senior dog is thriving and the best shape she has been in many months. I am grateful for Dr. Cantamessa and the wonderful Eagle Rock Vet. staff and would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a vet! Thank you!

I haven't been here since our dog passed away. Dr. Lewis is awesome. Staff is wonderful. They make you and your pet feel special. Wonderful hospital and great employees. Excellent doctors.

I brought home my bunny last week and was so nervous to take him to the vet for the first time. Dr. C and the team were so wonderful from start to finish and incredibly informative. If you're looking for a vet, Eagle Rock should be your first choice.

Straight up money grab... It's apparent they care more about money than your pet's health. Be careful.

Very professional and friendly staff, easy to work worh. Dr Melda Gjokaj took her time and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. I would recommend Eagle Rock Veterinary Hospital to friends and family and anyone else needing Vet care.

I have been taking my Pomeranian here for the last five years and I have always been happy with the service. While the prices do seem high and I may be able to go somewhere else you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t skimp on my own health care so I am not going to do it for my dog. The staff is always pleasant and friendly especially since my dog is a wild child. The doctor are helpful and always break everything down so I can understand it. I moved out of the county and still drive back to bring my dog to vet even though it is a hike.

It's not possible to get better care.

We brought my pup in for an appointment after being unable to get a same day appointment at our usual vet. We were super impressed by the kindness and care given to our dog by all veterinary staff. It’s a very clean, modern facility with a back parking lot and on site labs/pharmacy. It’s expensive; but you pay for what you get.

Dr. Feeney is the best! You can see how much each of the employees love all animals, even the trouble makers like mine lol.

We followed Dr Tracy Cantamessa (Dr. C) here from her previous location. Dr C is awesome! She has been taking care of our fur babies for over 10 years. She is a fantastic vet who genuinely cares about our pets and has often gone above and beyond. She is always very kind and gentle with our cats who can be difficult sometimes (16-20 lb Main Coons who are usually not too thrilled with being poked and prodded) And she has always been great with us. Never felt rushed always takes her time with us, answers all our questions and address our concerns. We love all the staff there from Reception, to the Doctors and Techs that assist, they are all wonderful people. All very kind and truly love the animals and their jobs. Eagle Rock has always been great with helping out in any emergency and has probably saved my cats life once or twice. Dr Miller was the first to check out our 2 kittens, he was pivotal in our decision to get our cats covered by medical insurance, and can't thank him enough for stressing we take a serious look at insurance. Less then 6 months later one of the kittens swallowed a rubber cap that caused a blockage and required surgery to remove. Dr Miller diagnosed it and got him into surgery same day and saved his life. Insurance saved us a lot of money. Its great to not have to worry about the financial side of helping our pets in any emergency situation.

Awesome staff! It’s obvious that the doctors are extremely passionate and dedicated toward a animal healthcare.

Everyone who works here was very friendly, they made taking my cat to the vet a stress free and pleasant experience. There prices are good, on part with other local vet offices.

Best Vets in NJ! Dr. Lewis is our boy Gabriel's vet. Gabe is a Cane Corso and seemed to scare the dickens out of most vets as soon as they set eyes on him. This would, in turn, scare the dog?! Very unprofessional. Doc Lewis is calm, cool and affectionate with Gabe... and genuinely cares for him. What more could you ask for... and the kid loves to go see him!

They are simply the best!! We have been with Dr. Cantamessa for over 14 years and followed her to Eagle Rock! She is the absolute best there is in our opinon. We absolutley love the staff their and have been treated like family from day one. If your animal needs dental work. Dr. Lewis is an amazing dental surgeon and provides amazing care. They all take their time and lay out their entire plan for the best care for your animal. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. We have had very limited dealing with Dr. Miller, but the times we have he is just as amazing and caring. He should be so proud of the practice he has built. He has filled it with such wonderful people that care about what they do, and who they are helping.

The team of professionals at Eagle Rock Veterinary Hospital are smart, kind, caring and very patient with my pets. So fortunate to have found them. Highly recommend their services.
