Awesome and truly compassionate.I had to make a emergency visit, while visiting from vermont, with my boy. I called the night before and even though they were booked for the day they still found a way to get my buddy in . The staff is awesome and went above and beyond to make sure my boy was taken care of and in good shape for his drive back home. Anytime we come back to vineland (which we do every few months) we are going to book an appointment for annual check-up.Thank you so much again East Oak Animal Hospital!!!

Great place my cat storm had a uti went in Friday they couldn't find anything went in Saturday n they finally got him to pee after forcing him brought him back in Monday they checked him again both days held him for a few hours to keep an eye amazing ppl they Def care about animals was scared I was gonna lose my baby Def not the cheapest place except to pay a decent amount for good health care but well worth it

Recently took our Puppy here for the first time and the staff was wonderful from when I first made the call to schedule to when we walked out the door after our first appt.! Loved that they had you wait in the car till a room was ready and even brought the paperwork to me in the car. Very nice office as well!!! Thank you so much to a great team for great care! The doctor and technician actually listen to your concerns and answer you in a fashion that is understandable. Very caring! Pleased at my choice to change Veterinarian for my dog!

So, my 1st appointment, for my dog Rocco, who was having a problem with his mouth/teeth/jaw, was never entered in the appointment book. Apparently, a new girl was working the front desk and forgot to pencil Rocco in. When I arrived, Megan, answered the call and promptly came outside to meet us in our car. She was very apologetic and very friendly. They reassured me my dog would be seen, and I filled out the paper work, and was told they would get me in as soon as they could. Well, after almost an hour wait...I must say, I was annoyed, but also understand, things happen. They came out and got me and apologized again. I was seen very quickly by Dr. Jay, when I got to the room. I met him once before, when I picked up my daughters ferret. I liked Dr. Jay instantly! His friendly, down to earth, warm manner was refreshing. He took the time to answer my questions and explain thoroughly. So I decided to take my my dog there for the 1st time. He did something no other vet did, he got on the floor, crossed legged, and gently examined my dogs mouth, and gave him several treats to watch him chew. He suspected TMJ issues due to a large benign boney growth on his cheek, that was being monitored over the past 2 years. He could not rule out a possible abscessed tooth, so he came up with a plan for treatment, that I was pleased with...and for my long wait...they gave me a awesome KONG reward toy. I was so surprised and thought what a great way to show how sincerely sorry they were for keeping us waiting. Thank you to all the staff, who were so friendly and wonderful! I will gradually be switching all my pets over, as my longterm vet in Bridgeton,... who I totally adore, is retiring.

The nurse and vet were very friendly and the cost of the annual checkup was not too expensive.

The staff at East Oak Animal Hospital are an absolute joy to deal with. I called as a new patient after my current veterinarian could not see my cat, Santino, who was suffering from what I believed to be an emergency. Although the office had no openings, Debbie, the Veterinary Technician, agreed that he needed to be evaluated and made room in their busy schedule to see him. Debbie and Dr. Jay Van Kooy were excellent. Santino was so calm around them, and the care provided was top-notch. They are true animal lovers. I highly recommend this office!

They are pricey for a senior citizen but everyone is friendly not just to me but to my animals.

Second time taking my fur baby to be checked out. Renee and the doctor was so sweet and professional with Bella as she was nervous but she did well with them and we were in and out quickly.

This is the best vet I have ever been to. Dr. Jay and his mom are amazing. They really listen to what you have to say and explain things extremely well. I will never forget what Dr. Jay did for my dog Lucy. He tried everything in his power to get her better whereas other vets I brought her to just dismissed her problems like they couldn't be bothered. I will never bring my pets anywhere else!

Dr. Jay was very thorough with his exam of our female cat Muffin. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I honestly can't say anything bad about this team. East Oak is by far the greatest veterinary team I have met (and I have met many!!). My animals always get what they need, and the approaches that I prefer for my animals are always heard. Making decisions about my animals' care is a true team effort. And to me, being able to work together with a vet to reach a solution means the world. My understanding of my animals is respected and heard, and the team takes time to really educate you about what you are dealing with. So, it's this great balance of sometimes I am learning, and sometimes the team is learning about my pets. We grow together to meet their needs. They are flexible, and understanding and every animal in their care is treated as an individual. There is no "one size fits all" approach.I literally LOVE knowing my animals aren't just getting a cookie cutter answer, but the answer that makes sense for them. I trust this team completely in making sure my pets have what they need always <3. Thank you for recognizing my animals for who they are, and for giving us a place where we feel confident in the care we are receiving. You guys are my hands down favorite !!

Started going here because the staff was friendly and very helpful on the phone. Been a few times with my dog and they have been just awesome. It is busy but the wait is never long even with the Covid precautions. They seem to really love thier job and it shows in the care my dog recieves as well as the way they treat people

I’ve bought two cats to them so far and I’m never not happy with the service, friendliness and professionalism of the Vet and staff there. You can go there in confidence knowing that your pet is in good caring hands. The Vet and staff make sure you understand what’s going on, they update you with details and patiently answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience at East Oak. Our previous vet would not even answer the phone. We have switched. Our labradoodle had a great experience. While adhering to strict Covid protocols Dr. Jay came out to the car and explained everything in detail and even brought a prop to show my wife and I what the issue was with our dogs ears. I've gone to East Oak for years. Though there are new owners, they and their staff have a great love and compassion for animals. They make time to see an emergency case and listen to your concerns.
