Yardville Animal Hospital Trenton, New Jersey

I've been taking my 2 dogs to this vet since I got them and I would never go anywhere else. The staff is beyond amazing and super friendly!

Went by today and they said they’re not taking new pets and that there isn’t even a vet. No idea what that’s about but here’s your friendly heads up. Update to the reply by owner below stating my comments are not true: I live down the street and we literally walked over. Gave 3 stars originally for benefit of the doubt, everyone has a bad day but seeing the response from the owner downgrading to 1 star.

I have been a very remiss kitty mom and these wonderful people took care of my baby and her paws without judging me or making me feel any worse than I already did. Neit and I both thank you so much for your care and treatment!!!! P.S. Harley says Hey! Two years later and the good service and customer care has tanked. I don’t know what family member is working the phone now but he has no idea how to talk to the humans. I was still going to take my Harley there (Neit passed away two years ago…she was almost 19) but since not only did I get treated without any respect, but after I hung up on him once, the vet called back twice! The first time, after being told that she heard his side of the conversation and had no problem with his attitude, I said should I just probably just find another vet right? She did say no, but I was already on the phone with another vet making an appointment for Harley. While I was on the phone with the new vet, she called the second time to leave a message that they were sending Harley’s records. Cool! I’ll come back with an update and information on the new vet, hopefully recommendations for them as well. Since the receptionist was incredibly nice and understanding about the situation, I like the odds. All it takes is to take responsibility and listen. Otherwise you lose patients and their recommendations. I had mentioned yardville to one my husband’s coworkers and he called before I was able to tell him what happened and, lo and behold, he was treated rudely as well. The potential customer has an elderly pet that he believes may have cancer. I get that I just have a difficult cat who freaks out at the vet, but to carry that attitude to someone they don’t even know and DID NOT mention my name? I don’t think I’m your problem. Good luck to anyone who uses or chooses this vet.

The entire team is incredibly patient with all of my questions and concerns about my puppy, and have been available by email to respond to any questions I have outside of our vet visits. No one there has been pushy with their medical advice, and try to give their opinion of what they would think is important for their own pet. Truly pleased with Dr. Samet and team!

Dr. Sam and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Also very compassionate and professional in difficult times. Have been using their services for over 40 years.

Dr. Samet, Paige, Ericka and Joe are wonderful. They respond to your questions and/or concerns ASAP!! My furry children love them too.

I've owned dogs for most of my adult life. This is by far the best Vet practice I have ever been to. Sr Samet and staff have treated my 2 Potcakes with nothing less than care and love.

Cannot say enough good things about Yardville Animal Hospital. After being unhappy with our last vet, we made the switch upon my boyfriend’s brothers recommendation and are so glad we did. Although we haven’t been able to enter the actual facility due to curbside restrictions at the moment, the service we have received is a true testament to how great this place is. Our dog was taken inside and cared for as we waited in the car with a follow up call with Dr. Samet the moment she was returned to us. Dr. Samet was such a pleasure to talk to and answered any questions I had. Big compliments to Paige at the front desk, too. She’s an absolute delight and so friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. I am one of those pet parents who does their research to make sure my golden is given the absolute best care, and I would highly recommend YAH if you’re in the area and in search for a practice who cares about their patients and their families.

My dogs got sick while our regular vet was on vacation. Friends recommended Yardville Animal Hospital. While most other vet offices in the area wouldn't even listen to their symptoms before telling me it was a 2 week wait for a visit, Yardville responded immediately, and scheduled them for the next day. Curbside protocols were safe for human and pet, I was updated on everything while they were inside. My one dog was dehydrated, they had a visit, samples sent for testing and meds, total for 2 was under $300. I am so relieved to have my boys home safe. Highest recommendation!

The doctors and the staff have been great with my new pup! Any time I have a question I can either email them or give them a quick call and I always get an answer in a timely manner. I could not be happier with the service.

The vet is very nice, however the girl at the front desk is so rude and obnoxious we have decided to locate a new vet.

The staff are very friendly and helpful with your pet. The doctor is also very personable and takes her time with you and pet. We have been going here for more than 20 years with different pets.

I take my pets to Yardville Animal Hospital because the vets are great, the staff is friendly and helpful, but most of all because the care given to my pets is superb! I recommend this practice highly!

2017: Clean space, close to home and reasonable prices. My only slightly negative observation, not really a complaint, is that several times when I go the staff (including the vet) don't actually know what I'm there for even though I've provided the information at the time I made the appointment when asked. Might be a good idea for staff to read the notes about the appointment before entering the exam room.
