Without a doubt the worst haircut I have ever seen. I brought my Bichon puppy to get groomed two days ago and gave specific instructions not to shave him too short and they did the complete opposite. He doesn't even look like a Bichon anymore. Also all around his face is uneven and straggly. I know it will grow back but this is very upsetting.

Really great service, very friendly staff that fit us in on short notice. I really like that they send text updates for confirmations, the pricing is fair, and the staff was transparent about how my puppy's temperament effected the bath and trim (he can be very shy and defensive) But most importantly he smells and looks great, they even gave him a bandana. We'll be back.

i took my cat, molly, here to get groomed for the first time and it was a lovely experience. someone was cleaning the shelves and restocking, another person was at the register and two others were available as well. i’m new to the idea of grooming because cats typically don’t need it, but mine is long hair cat. everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful with all of the questions i had to ask. they are also well-staffed so i was not waiting long to be helped. molly looks so good now and she is happier shaved. i will definitely be coming back on a more regular basis!

I have been to a few groomers on the island, but this one has been the best so far. My Clooney’s ears were plucked, nails shaved down, and mat free. The groomer also told me about some irritation marks he had, and showed great concern. It was also very affordable for the work they did. We’ll be back!

BYOP Grooming and Pet Supplies is a GREAT establishment focused mostly on grooming your dearly beloved pets. I know for sure (via information i was able to gather on BYOP'S Facebook Page) that it's a what you could/would call a 'one-stop-shop' at least for dogs, where you could get your dog properly groomed, get healthy and tasty food options for your dog with good healthy and hearty ingredients, and this establishment even serves as what you could call a day care for you dogs with fairly reasonable pricing. I've seen a couple of their fliers around town and wondered what they were about. I for one know how valuable, being an owner of a cat and a dog myself, it is and could be to have a high quality, trusted environment in an establishment that could be held accountable that I could bring my baby girl (4 year old Chiuwawa) or my baby boy (4 year old American Domestic shorthair cat) to stay a day if say I needed to paint my room, or say I wanted to do some heavy duty cleaning that involved(s) chemicals that would be dangerous or harmful to our babies, I would consider an actually establishment like BYOP a lot more reliable, safe, and accountable then some random someone I could find on an application from the phone. Not to mention, I always love supporting a small family owned and operated local business, as BYOP is, located in the West New Brighton neighborhood or section of the North Shore of Shore of Staten Island, hopefully they will be here and get enough good quality solid consistent business and customers to where they can expand their business and maybe hopefully in the near future we would see more BYOO establishments in the South Shore, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, The Bronx, Harlem, West Chester, Yonkers, Connecticut, and or even multiple locations in New Jersey. Nowadays where everything seems automated and extremely unpersonal it's a great and a beautiful thing to have real live accountable people that are highly acclaimed by also local and highly acclaimed dog owners And specifically dog trainers as an option for grooming, watching, babysitting your pets as well as a one stop shop for all supplies and food you may need for your furry friends. 5 stars easy.

They support rescue animals and help animals in need. Great groomer service and Sam is a sweetheart. Highly recommend! My cat is deaf and she knows how to handle her.

First time visiting this place and I’m in love everyone was super friendly I can’t remember the name of the lady Groomer but she came out to meet my dog personally which other places don’t do. She also took the time to tell me about my dog double coat what was the best cut for my Pomeranian she was just perfect for the first time I wasn’t worried about leaving my 15 moth old dog since this place don’t keep them inside cages. Finally found a nice place to bring my Ginger....

Went to drop off food for recuse cats & fell in love with the store. It was obvious that the staff are pure animal lovers & the cats & kittens where loved & well taken care of. The store has a good selection of food & supplies. There was the cutest dog being groomed. You can watch as the groomer works & she handled him well. I actually had a hard time leaving & I was there for a while. Felt right at home.

Not only do these ladies take amazing care of grooming my babies and providing healthy options for food and treats, but they genuinely care about you and your fur babies. Won’t go anywhere else.

OMG I loved this place! The workers are Awesome! Prices are Great and most of all my Hamilton looked Amazing after he was groomed. As you can see he is happy with the results as well. One other thing .... They sell homemade treats the dogs LOVED!!

Worst groomer ever doesn’t do the customer request. My baby looked terrible Ears were choppie and layer with long strand left in the corners. Eyes were not cleaned . Fur curly . Horrible .

By far the worst groomer i have ever been to. I had my dog groomed there and after picking her up i had to inform them she was still knotted. They apologized and took another 20 mins to groom her again. Instead of hiring kids to groom they should hire well certified adults. Very unhappy customers and would advise anyone to think twice about taking your animals there.
