I've taken 2 different dogs to Ruff Life over the last 3 years, and both have been transformed by the experience. There is no better way for pups to learn confidence and develop social skills than from other well-socialized dogs, and this is the perfect safe environment for them to do so. There's a reason that my dog knows it as "school." The staff at Ruff Life is super invested in the development and happiness of the dogs that go there; both of my pups started out scared of the place and cried when I dropped them off at first; but after just a few days it became their very favorite place. Now if we walk near 3rd & Market he tries to drag me down the street, and will sit pressed against the blue door, waiting to go see his friends. After just a few weeks at Ruff Life my dog went from cowering behind me if any dog was nearby to the most outgoing, social little pup in the neighborhood. The best part is that even with all the puppy energy, he will sleep for the entire day after a daycare visit. That's priceless. I don't have to feel guilty when life gets overwhelming and I just can't find the time to socialize him during the week - and I get the extended "tired snuggly dog" for free as a bonus. The crew at Ruff Life are family, they regularly save me when something comes up and I need my little dude to be out of the way for a minute. If you have a pup and you want the best for them, you should swing by the Ruff Life sooner than later.

Amazing place for the day for your doggy

We send two dogs to the Ruff Life. They both love it so much and run to the door in the morning when we go to drop them off. When I go to pick them up at the end of the day, one of our dogs runs from me so she doesn't have to go home. She does everything she can to try and stay longer. The staff is amazing so caring and compassionate. This is an awesome doggie day care and we love it because our dogs love it and are so happy there.

Never was seen or scheduled, didn't get a call back

The Ruff Life is the best - I feel comfortable leaving my two pups (one medium and one small dog) all day and overnight. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they really go out of their way to make sure my dogs are taken care of. We've never had a bad experience, and I cannot thank Jackie and crew enough for everything they do for us - both dogs come home tired and they love getting in the car in the morning because it means "daycare" day!

My dog loves Ruff Life. He would go every day if we let him. Courteous staff, fair prices, and they board overnight too.

We have had a wonderful experience with The Ruff Life! Our almost 2 year old Stella has a lot of energy and loves playing with other dogs, and she comes home exhausted after daycare! The staff is very accommodating and you can tell they really care for each dog that comes through the doors. Stella primarily goes for daycare but we've had good experiences with boarding as well. We always love seeing the "report card" at the end of the day showing who Stella played with and what her mood was that day. Can't recommend The Ruff Life enough!

An attentive and friendly staff. They take great care of my dog when I'm away. They offer web cam service to monitor your dog and post frequent photos on social media highlighting the animals having a great time. Owner has a background in Veterinary Practices and is adept at administering medication and is well equipped to deal with emergencies.
