My pet loves Paws in Chelsea. I love it too. The place is clean, organized, and pretty quiet for a place full of pets. How they do it is a mystery.

I boarded my 2.5 year old English Bulldog at Paws in Chelsea for a long weekend, and they were AMAZING. They took such great care of my dog, Dale, and even sent pictures and updates on how he was doing throughout. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - we'll definitely be back! :)

This weekend was the first time ever boarding my baby Mimi and I was so nervous about being away from her for so long but the staff at Paws was beyond amazing. Mimi had an amazing time, made lots of friends, and was well taken care of. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for their generosity and kindness. They truly care about your child like their own. If you're going to board your dog anywhere, make sure its here. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

This place is only open 8am-8pm now. Never updated the info here or on their website.???? They have my dog now even though I only checked him in for day care. I received no calls to give me a chance to rush and pick him up. And I’m pretty sure tomorrow they will charge me for overnight boarding.

My Dog was with us in NYC. She is elderly and blind. We called. They were super friendly on the phone and my dog was well cared for a day. Super fantastic. I am delighted with their care.

We visited New York City and needed a place to put our dog in daycare for a day. Paws in Chelsea did not disappoint! The members we worked with was all so kind, friendly, and professional. They also offered to send us email updates of our little Cavapoo which helped keep our minds at peace while we were trying to enjoy ourselves in NYC. More to add, we eventually found out that they kept our Cavapoo with them the whole day up front behind the receptionist desk! This was great since our dog is shy around other dogs and easily intimidated. We did ask for a private room but it’s even better that our dog was able to get some human attention. We walked in and our dog was sleeping safe and sound on the reception’s chair. I can tell he was loved and cared for. I will recommend all my friends to come here for any daycare or boarding needs. I myself, will always pick Paws in Chelsea whenever I’m back in NYC and need any sort of daycare or boarding for my dog. Many thanks!!

We were not impressed with the conditions where the dogs were staying. They were in essentially a concrete pen of about 10x10. They're moved from one pen to another a few times a day in order to have the old pen cleaned and that's their life while they're there. No room to run no room to play. If I hadn't inquired about how they get exercise or where they go to the bathroom I would not have been told how the boarding process works. A walk is extra and I had to inquire about it to learn about that.

This place is great. There are cleaner or larger places, but everyone here really seems to love animals, and it really shows. Our puppy has a blast, and comes home tired, both of which are welcome. And occasionally, we get some really delightful photos of him romping around with his friends.

My dogs was hosted in this per hotel. The place is not like the pictures shown in the website. No walks, dogs together fighting each other... There are better places in New York half prized. When I picked up my dog, he had two spots in his chicks because another dog attacked mine. And of course a bill for the veterinary. The dog still in pain and they have no responsibility about it.

I just had my very old cat groomed. The groomer did a wonderful job and my old cat looks like a kitten again. The groomer was gentle and thorough. No anesthesia used. The price was very reasonable. The groomer works on Sundays (and Wednesdays) so it is very convenient.

UPDATE: The owner of PIC contacted us directly after I had emailed expressing my frustrating with the situation this last week. He was very kind, and empathetic to my frustrations, as well as solution oriented. He let us know that he'd be following up with the staff regarding the verbiage of rescheduling, and was very apologetic for what we had gone through. We will be coming back. Thank you Dennis! *** We were asked to reschedule our appointment on 3 different occasions due to the groomer having a "family emergency". We came to find out that it was in fact because the groomer did not want to come in from Jersey for only a few clients. While the front desk staff tried to help and were as nice as possible under the circumstances, there was no offer to try and remedy the situation other than to reschedule. Again and again.

Indoor dog sitter service. The dogs get to mingle and are watched by several attendants.

We were visiting NYC for all of July from California and used Paws in Chelsea for daycare for our 1 year old Jack Russel. He stayed there several times during our 4 week stay and absolutely loved it. Every time we'd walk down 24th street and get near Paws on Chelsea he'd make a beeline for the front door. Everyone was so nice and cheerful! And we used the grooming service on the last day he was there and he looked (and smelled) wonderful! Amazing place! Thanks to all the employees of Paws in Chelsea!

Whoever trained the staff at Paws in Chelsea did an excellent job. They look you in the eye, respond to you if you have a question, are courteous, caring and very professional. All these qualities are important to me when handing off my three dogs. If they are kind, respectful and attentive to you, that is a reflextion of how they treat the animals in their care. (I will no longer place my dogs in the other neighborhood dog spa-they ignore you until they are good and ready to answer a simple question. Very rude. It's almost as if you don't exist. Not nice and not good business). My dogs pull me towards the door of Paws in Chelsea- very excited to get there and very happy at pickup. The staff follows feeding regime is very organized. Thank you Paws in Chelsea for being a great business and a class act!

Paws in Chelsea without a pose. PiC is not just the best Doggy Daycare and Pet Hotel in New York City, it is my pet's second family and home. Quincy Jones goes to PiC 5 times a week for the past 10 months. During this period, he has been boarded for 12 days straight, including weekends and overnights. I’ve always found him happy, clean, and healthy. Their fees are very reasonable and one cannot be happier knowing that their loved one is in the best of care with a personal touch. The amazing team knows all the pets personally and keeps the facility immaculately clean and fresh. The owner is not your everyday businessmen and pet lover, he truly cares about the animals he takes in. His compassion and thrive for excellence comes across the staff he hires and customer relationship. My boy is 19 months old who comes home everyday content and happily exhausted . He loves going there, pulls from 24th street into the door to be greeted by loving people, hang and play all day with his beautiful pack and I couldn't be happier. PiC changed our lives! Both Quincy and myself are calm and collected.

My girls Matilda and Trixie have been going to Paws since I adopted them (4 and 2+ years, respectively). They love being there just as much as they love being at home (ok they probably love being there more!)! The staff is attentive to the needs of their little four-legged guests and stay on top of everything. I trust the folks at Paws in Chelsea completely with the care and well-being of my girls and I highly recommend this facility for daycare and overnight boarding.

Great place , they treat the pets like their own, it's amazing such a reliable place like this exists in NYC. Every time I go on vacation or just need some quiet time I bring my dogs here and they are reasonably priced and well known. They truly are a great find. Thanks Paws in Chelsea your amazing.

Paws Chelsea is amazing, period. I never write google reviews, but felt inclined to do so because I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with people you don't know. My experience at Paws has been nothing but perfect. The staff knows and cares for each pet like its their own. Stanley has been going there for a few months now, and she loves it. She is very timid on the street, but as soon as we get to 24th, she gets super excited and rushes towards the door, begging to go in. Every time we go in, Stanley is greeted by name and with a big hug from whoever is there. She jumps on the playpen door to try and get in to see her friends, tail wagging the whole time. Beyond our dog loving her time there, it is the staff that is truly the best part. They not only care for our girl, but they are very flexible with our schedule, and are extremely accommodating. We trust them completely with Stanley.

My experience here has been great my dogs love it here and they are showered with attention. The small number of dogs in each room makes more sense than larger facilities that have far too many dogs in each room.

I would have to say that I am so glad I chose to take my dog to board at this location. This pet hotel was very patient with me being a first time boarding there feeling nervous about my baby girl, answering all my calls and any questions I had. The videos sent to me to see how my girl was doing was also a great way to know my dog was safe. The service was great and the staff was very patient and caring. Will definitely bring my dog back when I need a place to board my girl.
