Absolutely fantastic experience for an emergency visit. One of my dogs had a mysterious rash & was biting & scratching himself raw. Regular vet could not make time & said about 2wks for appt, ER vet said to come & check in but then said I had to wait in car & they would call in 4-5hrs. I called Washington Street Veterinary & they were kind enough to see my dog within the hour, efficiently diagnosed & treated for allergic reaction. They gave me meds & shampoo & scheduled a follow up for a week. Had a third follow up with shot again. Each visit was pleasant & efficient, so much so that while I really like my old vet that practice is too busy & hard to get appts & lots of waiting past appt time so I will make Washington Street my new animal care provider. Excellent service each visit

I did not want to write a review of this veterinarian but while the service seems great, the general administration and management of the place is pretty underwhelming. I had a medical emergency today with my dog. I called no less than 7 times. I couldn’t leave a voice message. There is no call forwarding. And they’re closed to boot! No signs on the doors, nothing. I even checked social media and there is nothing indicating that Washington Street Vet. is closed! I will not be returning. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Been going to Dr. Nesvold for over a decade and has taken great care of my 3 dogs. I trust her and board my dogs there for vacation as well. Has clinics every month for cheaper prices and even the more expensive procedures are worth it bc you know they’re done right.

After my regular vet failed to return phone calls and seemed to have too busy of a practice to take care of my cat's eye emergency, Dr. Nesvold was recommended to me. Although I had never been to this practice, they were willing to see me an hour after I called. I brought all my medical records and switched to Washington Street Vet. Services today! So grateful! Small family practice full of love!

Such a down to earth vet! She cares about the kitty's well being first and never overcharges.

Never got to meet the vet. I have no idea what this person looks like, or even if he/she exists. The appointment was 100% with the vet tech, who didn't ask enough questions or even really listen to the problem. I was not even allowed to talk to the vet on the phone. Somehow, we're using COVID as an excuse for why the vet can't even call? The young girl who was the vet tech said "You talk through me. I'm the one who talks to the vet." when I asked to speak to or see her. Just outrageous. They tried to treat my dog without talking to me first, and charge me $347 for a visit with a vet tech who couldn't have been more than 23 years old and certainly doesn't have experience treating puppies. The only communication I got from the vet was literally on a sticky note. ... it was a bill.

My dog was a patient there for a few years for the basics shots etc. Then he had an issue his face was slightly swollen on one side and he def. was in some sort of discomfort. I took my dog in for an emergency appt. they basically said he may have an eye infection cleaned his eyes with water and gave me meds. once home my dog was sliding his face over every and anything he could. Turns out he had an abscess that he made burst from his sliding and he had a tooth issue. If the Vet would have examined him like they charged me they would have found this out. I had to take my dog for emergency oral surgery that evening. Done with this place forever!!!!

Dr. Nesvold has more than 50 years of experience as a vet. There's nothing she hasn't seen. That's what I'd want for my own doctor, so it's what I want from my pet. So happy here!

Excellent, professional and personal veterinary care. Dr. Nesvold and her staff are the best—completely trust them with our beloved dog! Highly recommend.

My experience in this office has been very positive. I think Dr Nesvold is very knowledgeable. The fees in the office are about the same as every other office I have been to.

Dr Nesvold treated our dog with respect and got a dog who hates vets to accept her. Another vet in the area used excessive violence for the same situation and made things worse. The medication and treatment was always what was needed. She comes with our string recommendation.

I have been bringing my dogs to Doctor Nesvold for years. They like her and she has always taken good care of them. Her facility is clean and comfortable. I have no complaints and would recommend her to any dog owners.
