This is a truly caring practice. I have brought all three of my cats to Dr. Cotler. His expertise, skill, and compassion are unparalleled. His staff are always busy but I never feel ignored or rushed. I consider myself a nervous pet parent. When I call with a concern I am never made to feel that I am bothering them. Dr. Cotler also responds to my questions with the same respect for my concerns as well. Many years ago my cat Henry had bloodwork completed. Rather than make me wait for the results, Dr. Cotler called me hours after the practice closed for the day. Henry had diabetes. Dr. Cotler guided me through caring for Henry's diabetes. When he became severely ill, and in pain I had to make the hard decision to end his pain. Dr. Cotler explained to me what was going to happen before hand, He was so gentle with Henry before during and after. Dr. Cotler let me take my time with Henry prior to and after. My current cat George is over eighteen years old. Just today I called the office with a concern. The staff member who answered the call never made me feel like I was wasting her time and told me that that I would receive a call later. Again, in his usual professional caring manner. He alleviated my concerns and provided me options for how to proceed. Thanks Dr. Cotler.

I took my cat here a few times and they always had appointments available. I visited with Dr. Nickel and he was very kind and explained things very clearly. Will definitely recommend.

Staff is friendly, caring and easy to deal with.

Hit or miss with front desk staff. Some of them are so very helpful and kind. Some of them should NEVER work with customers and I'm honestly surprised that certain individuals have been hired to work directly with customers (given their lack of interpersonal skills and limited capacity to communicate with others). Most of the Veterinarians and Vet techs are great - Dr. Gabe Capodanno is by far the best Vet on staff.

We have been clients of South Brunswick Animal Hospital for many years. The doctors and staff are always very professional, friendly, polite and, of course, very concerned and knowledgeable about our dog. Don't hesitate to contact them.

They don't Open Saturdays and they are not accepting new clients.

The service has gone really south. I asked for a prescription refill and was waiting for the whole day and didn't receive any call and my poor dog is suffering. I made at least five calls during the day and none of them are picked up. I don't even expect customary courtesy, but at least there should be some level of professionalism. I have been taking my dog for 3 years now and now am looking for some other animal hospital, who would deal with a bit of more care. I understand that this center has a lot of clients, but that doesn't warrant the indifferent behavior. If they are overwhelmed, they should at least have the courtesy to tell us to go find another vet. Very very disappointed

I recently had to put my dog down. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I chose SBAH based on my prior experiences with them however I made the wrong choice. Everything about the experience was horrible. The female vet who I had never seen before explained that the process would be quick and painless but that was far from true. My poor dog suffered tremendously. He yelped for a good 2 minutes before he took his last breath. It was heartbreaking. I'm still traumatized by the experience. When I questioned the vet about the yelping she did not respond. This leads me to believe she did something wrong. I don't know if she didn't give him enough medicine or if she skipped part of the process but either way my dog did not deserve to live his final moments in agony. shame on you sbah!!

Been going to S B A H FOR A LONG TIME EVERY SINGLE PERSON WORKING THERE IS THE BEST/ NICEST/ SWEETEST BIGGEST HEARTED PEOPLE YOU EVER WANT TO DEAL WITH EXPECIALLY WHEN YOU IT IT COMES TO OUR 4 LEGGED KIDS& THE VETS ARE THE BEST NICEST MOST CARING & BEST IN THEIR FIELDS ESPECAIALLY DR JOHN MITKO, WHO HAS ALSO SABE SOME OF MY BABIES OVER THE YRS OVERALL NO VETERINAN HOSPITAL IS BETTER

Dr Minko was caring & went over my pets care on full detail.

After 3 dogs and many good years of service from SB Animal Hospital, it all ended yesterday with a terrible receptionist! After calling in hysterics to say my 15 year old dog was seizing and basically dying I was told by the receptionist that I had to wait in my car until a doctor called me. After waiting a few minutes I call again only to be told that there is only one doctor there and I had to wait with my dying dog in the car. Luckily a caring technician was walking to her car to go home and I ran to her to ask her if this was normal. She immediately ran back in and a very caring technician ran out to help us and bring my dog inside who was then seen and sadly put to sleep. The doctors and technicians at SB Animal Hospital hospital are all very compassionate and great! Unfortunately sensitivity training may be needed for whomever was answering calls yesterday around 4:30.

Dr Gabe has been our vet for years for many of our animals. He is very kind, friendly, patient and thorough.

I called this animal hospital today April 26th at 2:30pm Ashley picked up the phone after explaining her my situation with my new puppy having an allergic reaction to something, fever and diarrhea I asked if it was possible to bring her in, she replied that they are not taking new clients, just like that. What kind of vet doesn’t take new pets?? What kind of hospital is this?? Is like me saying to her you can’t come in to my hospital because we don’t take new patients. Its ridiculous. My only intention was to change vet to all my pest including my 3 cats because as a new monmouth junction resident this hospital was around the corner from me. I’ll keep East Brunswick animal hospital ????% better service.

The doctors and staff could not be more caring. They’ve been wonderful through the routine exams to serious illness. They always take the time to explain their rationale for recommendations for tests, medications, and other treatments.

A home to our pets for 30 years

Have been going here for years and have always loved not only the staff but the doctors as well! My family has used Dr. Paris for 4 dogs now over my lifetime and now my own boy gets to go there. They make it easy and explain everything in detail with what they're doing. Love this place and would never even think about taking my pet anywhere else!

Best! Been taking my dogs here since I moved to Dayton almost 20 years ago!!!! I usually use Dr. Capadano, amazing caring Vet!! I also see Dr. Mitca also. I have used all others over this time, and every single one, provides my dogs with compassion. Best group! ????????????

Dr. Cotler is fantastic. Not only did he do an extensive exam of my cat, to try to find out why he was biting me recently, he also, petitioned the advice of a specialist, at no additional cost! Throughout the 11 years that I have been going to SBAH, the entire staff has always been caring and friendly. I recommend them whole heartedly!!!

We've been going here for the past ten years with our Shih Tzu, Bailey. All the vets are so great with her that we never have to request any particular one. I've called the vets a few times with questions and they always call back and take their time to answer all my questions!
