I cannot say enough good things about how happy I am with Middletown Animal Hospital. We saw Dr. Michelle Hernandez. She is very knowledgeable, professional and connected so well with our dog. We saw Dr. Hernandez several times, once for an initial visit with a fine needle aspiration. A follow up visit and then finally for surgery and post op. Our girl had a complex tumor to be removed and Dr. Hernandez got clean borders. The size of her incision was quite large however she is an expert at sutures because as time progressed the skin flattened and healed just as she said it was. Dr and the office were available for all of my questions and even got us in when I was worried it wasn't healing properly. I was quite impressed with the level of professionalism and respect and love shown at this office. I am so happy to have brought our girl there and will continue to for many years to come. We have a 4 year old Pitbull female. 1/20/22 - Update: Saw · Dr. Michael Yurkus today. He was amazing as well. Very caring and didn't try to upcharge us when not needed. His years of experience shine through. Brought our 1 year old puppy to see him today.

Great place to bring your pet if you need a check up or anything amazing doctors try there best to help you amd the staff is just amazing and good vibes to bring your pet they helped smores our pet with the teeth and weird thing on his face

The vets and technicians at the Middletown Animal Hospital have treated our beloved cats with the highest quality veterinary care. We are especially grateful for the knowledge and dedication of Dr. Thomas Curro. He is a master of his craft as well as a true animal lover.

I put my stars from a 5 to 2 because I put the lower down because I seemed a few be rude a few of the girls who worked in front of counter today been a few but one girl today I can't get all names on phone don't like to tell me Like I said just a few others are very nice ,expically the vets and vet tech are very kind to my cats ...I put it back to 4 because your vets was just a bit of a difference what they told me price till I went to front it was fixed ..I

I cannot say enough good things! Everyone there has always been incredibly kind and professional. Dr. Margolis is amazing! She is so kind and caring and treats my pets like they are her own. I can truly tell she has such a love for animals and their humans! Not everyday do you find a vet that will hug you when you are in tears over losing an animal. She is something special!

All of the folks at Middletown Animal Hospital are extremely caring and professional. Dr. Yurkis has treated all of our dogs for the past 15 years, performed successful surgeries when necessary, and even saved our female Rottweiler's life with his thoroughness. We are very grateful to all the staff and doctors at Middletown who have consistently been there for our pets through the years! They are the Top Guns of veterinary care for sure!

Love this vet for our little Caique parrot, Pippin. Yesterday we noticed his beak looked strange, like it was cracked. Called today, they got us in this afternoon. Doc filed and reshaped beak, put some mineral oil on it. Pippin is fine. Entire staff is great! Thanks again for excellent service.

I took my dog for a treatment an a week later I had to take him to another vet because his conditions after the visit were the same.... they charged me close to $300. They are always using and pushing for more treatment so they can charge you more money. Don't go to this place. They only care about money and not your pet.

I really really liked this animal hospital. Very friendly very informative very convenient. They came out to my car to talk to me and to get my Kitty cat. The only thing that I did not like is that I paid a visit fee and I had to get a distemper shot for my kitten. The kitten needs a booster in another 4 weeks I do not feel I should be charged Another Visit fee for the booster shot. They told me possibly I won't have to pay it but I might they can't give me that answer. That was the only very frustrating part . Other than that I would highly recommend this animal hospital.

This place was great. The Dr was awesome. I don't know how much wellness visits normally are but I thought this was very reasonable, $61. The shots were $30 each, rabies booster and distemper. All in all a pleasant experience ????????

Dr Curro is absolutely amazing with my Sugar Gliders. It's not easy finding an Exotic Vet that knows about Gliders. Highly recommend him :-)

I had my bunny put down the other day and I have to say I feel pretty upset with my experience. My vet and other vet techs were being incredibly loud in the other room as I was saying good bye to her. The vet has always been great with my rabbit but I feel disrespected since I couldn’t get some silence as I said goodbye to her.

Bella loves Dr. Yurkus. Loves the nurses. They have always been great with our girl. Bella is never afraid to visit.

Dr. Hernandez did an amazing job tending to my 12 year old chihuahua. She rushed her in for oral surgery when an tooth abscess came out of the blue over the weekend. My chi has had many surgeries from teeth issues to cancer and I was deeply concerned about having another surgery due to her age andnthe fact she didn't handle her last tooth extraction well at all. Dr. Hernandez worked her magic and not only was my buddy walking and eating but she wasn't crying like she had from her last surgery which was done elsewhere. I'm so incredible grateful for her skill and care. My chi has recovered beautifully

I travel 45 minutes to get to Middletown Animal Hospital because I want the best for my dog and Dr. Michelle Hernandez is the best. The staff is also excellent and very responsive to the needs of the animals and their owners. I highly recommend Middletown Animal Hospital.

My apologies to Middletown Animal Hospital. I wrote a review saying they were a terrible place. I got my offices mixed up. I have never been here. I have called and spoke with people who were very nice and had great telephone etiquette. I know people that have been there and highly recommend them. Again, i truly apologize for the mix up.

I drove a friend to the Middletown animal hospital yesterday and was treated with the utmost respect and even having to deal with it remote car side service it was extremely efficient and well handled

Horrible experience! Waited 45 minutes for my appointment to be told that they are too busy and I can't be seen. Won't be coming back here. What a waste of my time.

Great service, informative and honest, just wish I could meet the staff.

Extremely pleased with the doctor, staff, and service. We brought our guinea pigs there. You call when you get there, they take your pet at the door, the doctor calls you and discusses your pet, staff calls you for payment. They bring your pet out and you give them the payment. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and even gave us several pamphlets with lots of information regarding guinea pigs.

My dog Mya injured her rear leg late in the day. She wasn’t putting any weight in it at all, and I was afraid that the Middletown Hospital would be closed, but Dr Michelle Hernandez waited for us. She had such a calm demeanor I was immediately relieved. She explained the seriousness of Mya’s injury and stressed that she not be allowed off the leash for 30 days. We gave Mya the medication as prescribed and she made a full recovery! I would highly recommend Michelle and will be sure to ask for her when we return.

the only place around I know that can take care of my bearded dragon and they are so caring I am so attentive I love this office
