Dr Murtha has been helpful with my older dog. She seems to listen to our concerns.

Dr. Murtha and the staff are amazing. Our dog was sick for 4 weeks and she and her team quickly figured out what was wrong and put him on the path to recovery.

I luv this place. The staff is so polite and professional.

My experience with amboy vet was very good, they took very good care of my Luca he wasn't traumatized like in past vet visits and his nail trim is perfect. Ty amboy ave vet clinic. ????

Honestly, I wouldn't even give them one star. If you wanna take your dog to the vet because he is sick and then have the Veterinarian and assistant make you feel bad for it, this is the vet for you. After leaving, I burst into tears. CRUEL. And it does not stop there with how unprofessional this clinic is. The vet assistant was kissing my dog. If I was in such a position, that's the last thing I would be doing, even with permission of the owner.. which she did not even bother asking. My dog came in with a upper respiratory infection or so that's what they told me the first time. When calling to follow up about my dog's cough, they said he had kennel Cough which was a surprise to me. Even if my dog had kennel cough at the first initial appointment that information was not related to me. The vet and assistant were passive aggressive with me talking to my dog and saying things like " you shouldn't be doing this" over and over again. They made me feel like it was my fault for my dog getting sick. The passive aggressive statements made me uncomfortable and unable to ask follow up questions during the appointment. Definitely not coming back. If you are thinking about going here, think twice. Ah. maybe even a third time. If you do come to this vet, be prepared to be disappointed and shamed. I want to thank Amboy Animal Hospital for fitting in Bonkers today. I really think that with Dr. Murtha's compassion and years of experience she will give my dog the best chance possible.

Got an appointment same day when our dog had symptoms of a UTI. Staff was very friendly and they actually called you with results when they said they would. Will definitely be using them again

Family was visiting from out of state, and their dog became sick, right before Thanksgiving. From the initial phone call to the end of the appointment, everyone from Dr. Murtha to the techs were kind, empathetic and professional. We were so appreciative that they could fit us in the day before a holiday, and the experience was incredibly positive. Definitely bringing my cats here for care in the future.

Dr. Murtha and her nursing staff are caring, gentle and will take the time to answer any and all questions you might have (I had a lot !). They handled my cat gently and with a lot of love.

I'm writing this for Aspen today, as he was extremely sick over the holidays. We cannot say enough about the entire team and Dr Murtha, who are extremely passionate about the care that they provide. Aspen, a 5 year old miniature poodle, became very sick just before Christmas and stopped eating and drinking. At one point, Aspen had to go to the Vet everyday to get hydrated and for the staff to try to get him to eat. After x-rays, several blood tests and six visits in less than two weeks, Dr Murta was able to diagnosed Aspen with Addison's disease. I called our Nationwide Pet Insurance to understand what was covered and the representative was extremely impressed that Dr Murta was able to diagnose Addison's disease so quickly. Everyone at Amboy Ave Animal Hospital is absolutely AWESOME! With all of our heart, we that you for the loving care that you gave to Aspen. You all are the BEST!!!!!!

We found this vet through “Friends of Animals” and were so comfortable leaving our dog in their hands for his neuter. The women here handled our energetic, 70 pound year-old lab so sweetly and patiently, and they are quite strong! His recovery and stitch removal were seamless, they were also so helpful with my several questions pre-op. Highly recommend!!

This veterinarian hospital has been helping animals from my family since I was a little girl, and I'm now 37! They were doing tgeir thing for pets long before that, as well. They always do their very very best, regardless of whether or not it's a routine visit, vaccine, illness, etc. Very highly recommended. They have earned every bit of the 5 star rating.

I am very happy with Dr. MURTHA and her staff.They are all very caring and kind.I came here after 13 years at a vet that I never had the same Dr. twice.My dog had lots of allergies and each vet had a different opinion.Dr. Murtha helped my Athena and listened to me.My dog felt comfortable there too.They were very knowledgable and helped me in person and on the phone.Today we had to put our little girl to sleep.They cared and comforted us and gave our girl lots of hugs.I am heartbroken right now but want everyone to know this is a great vet and I highly recommend them.Thank you for helping and caring for our Athena.

Amazing staff who genuinely care about the animals they are treating. I’m new to the area and was looking for a new vet I walked in for a routine check up and shots for my cat and they ended up catching something that had it gone untreated could have lead to far more serious issues and complications. Then when I unexpectedly ended up bottle raising a very sick kitten they were there every step of the way I now have a healthy happy 12 week old kitten that wouldn’t have made it without them. Couldn’t be more grateful for the staff and dr. murtha and I was very lucky to find them.

I have been to lots of Vets in my area, I have to say by far this place is the best place in my opinion. The staff is beyond nice and the Doctor is not only very caring but she does not just throw medicine at you, she figures out exactly what is wrong with your dog and then suggest what she thinks you should do. I have two dogs a Male LAB and Female Bull Mastiff, the Mastiff had been to several Vets for her ear infections the doctor found EXACTLY what the issue was and cured her ear infections. I also recently had both dogs Neutered and the job was done professionally. This will be my Vet forever , I cant not express in this review how happy I am to finally find someone who actually cares about the pets and not the money, You may read some negative reviews but then you always have folks who will have a different opinion even when buying a TV :) but I am not going any further then Doctor Murtha and her Staff .

This place really cares about people and their animals. They helped my cat. I would definitely recommend this place.
