Packman teaches you to understand your dog and dog psychology to create balance . It’s not about rewards and tricks but a different perspective on teaching humans to understand dog behavior so you can have a better behaved dog . Highly recommended in my book !

When we first adopted our senior black lab Dorothy, she was labeled as a nervous dog by the rescue. Initially she was having difficulty remaining calm and we weren’t sure how best get her to stop constantly barking and pulling on walks. We tried a dog trainer, but their only solution seemed to be giving her a lot of treats which ultimately did not resolve the issues. Pat actually taught us how to work on training ourselves to identify the root of what was causing Dorothy’s behaviors, as well as the best ways for us to help Dorothy get to a more calm state of mind. Prior to meeting with Pat, we were afraid to bring Dorothy around family members as we didn’t know how she would react. Once we were able to better understand Dorothy thanks to Pat’s guidance, we were able to see Dorothy blossom into a more calm, confident dog that we were happy to introduce to all family and friends. Pat also worked with us on leash walking, and was very detailed in how we could best respond to any scenario we brought up to him (seeing other dogs, other people approaching, etc.). As a result, we are now able to more confidently take Dorothy on long walks while allowing her and ourselves to enjoy the time out calmly. Pat is very flexible in his scheduling which is great for anyone that finds themselves constantly busy during the week. In addition, Pat offers other insightful resources such as podcasts and videos that are excellent supplements to our training. We could not be happier with the results we’ve seen thus far, and would absolutely recommend Pat to anyone that wants to give their dog the comfort and peace of mind they deserve. Thank you Pat!

Packman is the best would definitely recommend. He's very positive even when you're not he's reassures us progress not perfection. Then my wife and I are able to apply the lessons effectively to train our 6 month old mix miniature pinscher. Pat is overall worth every penny and is a genuine good guy and a great trainer.

Pat is truly one of a kind. He has "rescue" in his title, and it is well deserved because he rescued me and my pup! My dog could not be handled, I was in a corner and had no options. My puppy boy was so awful and mean and just wouldn't listen or respect me! Someone recommended Pat to me and he saved us. He was kind, genuine, funny & downright inspirational. The advice he gave me was remarkable, and he has molded my bad little devil into a kind, docile pup that people envy! Life changing! Even my own family has been saying... "wow, what changed??" You know what I say? Pat the Packman changed us, He changed us both!! Highly recommend!!

Pat is the best! My dog used to be a menace but Pat took care of it quickly. He preaches training the people and not the dogs, which I was skeptical of at first. But it works like a charm. The only thing I wish I did was call Pat sooner. Highly recommended!

Pat is so great. First of all, he was so flexible with scheduling which was wonderful. His philosophy of “it’s about training people, not dogs” is so true. Our girl responded to his techniques RIGHT away. Then, it was all about us learning how to do them properly. Pat is very nice, funny, and he will tell it to you straight. He helped us out so much and I would recommend him to any other dog owner!

I am very lucky that I found a great trainer on the first look! Pat has been so helpful with training our rescue pup, Charlie, who is 4 months old. Pat believes to train people, and all the advice he has given us has helped our pup keep his energy levels low while still stimulating the mind. I cannot thank Pat enough!

Where do I even begin? Duke’s my very lovable (to us...not so much to others) 2yr old Klee Kai, who has always been very timid by nature. He’s a wonderful dog to me and my family, but he’s never liked strangers. His behavior around “outsiders” has been atrocious, to say the least. We’ve tried at least two different dog trainers in a vain attempt to sort out Duke’s aggressive behavior around other people... and the only thing that got us was a slightly overweight dog who still didn’t know how to act around others. All of the trainers I’ve had have only done one thing during our sessions, and that was bribing Duke with treats for an hour at a time to get him to like them more. And spoiler alert, that did absolutely nothing to curb his behavior. We found Packman to the rescue by accident while searching for a behavioralist, not another trainer, I’m done with them. He’s been wonderful in helping us figure out what Duke’s problem with strangers was... and it was us. We just didn’t know how to effectively handle his outbursts or read and correct him. His philosophy is to work with and focus more on training the people, not the dog, and it’s been working out great for us. Just after the first session, we noticed a big difference in how Duke acted around others. We’ve only been meeting with Pat for about 2.5 months now and the progress we’ve made in helping Duke make better decisions around strangers has been life changing. We don’t have to worry so much when we bring new people over or when we go out for a walk because we now have the tools to help Duke understand what’s acceptable behavior and what’s not. It’s made everyone, especially Duke, much more secure and happier and we are very thankful for Pat’s advice and patience.

My dog ViVie, for some reason, refused to climb stairs. Pat showed us how to get her back on the stairs in less than 10 minutes! We both needed a re-train! You are my dog-whisperer!

Pat is the real deal when it comes to understanding dogs. It was amazingly life changing to watch him instantly transform my dog Ellie's fear of people. He trains you, not your dog. He will give you the knowledge and tools needed to have a perfect relationship with your dog and to have a dog that is happy and well behaved.
