2nd vet in the area, about to give me an appointment for my sick dog, but refused when they found out I’m a new customer. Welcome to the neighborhood ☹️.

They're so sweet and caring. They have seen my cat and my dog goes regularly since he was a puppy. They are slightly pricier than other vets but they're so friendly and accomadating I don't see us ever switching. They fit you in for important visits within hours and you're in and out.

Very thankful that this vet took my dog in an emergency and did everything that they could to try and save him ! Thank you for your effort

Highly recommend! We’ve taken our rescue pup here for all her routine visits over the last year. All staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. Yes sometimes there is a wait to be seen but they give you all the time you need once it’s your turn! Shout out to Dr. Wilcox and her tech, they made our dog feel very comfortable and she answered all my questions/concerns. Thank you!

We have been using Bayshore for years and I absolutely love them. As others have said, they don't pressure you to get things for your pet. They simply give you the information and answer questions.

The absolute Best ! Yesterday was Sunday and I called last minute and they fit me in ... they always take special care of my Nova amstaff , she has very special needs , my previous dog Luna cane Corso mix , then Diamond another amstaff who was Paralyzed and omg they keep her comfortable and very happy , my dog b4 her was Siren the Dalmatian , he use to run into the building ... that should explain how great this staff is .. I would never and have not gone anywhere else ... I absolutely love Bayshore , the doctors and staff

All of the vets are very nice and never pressure you to spend extra money. They give you all the information you need to make a decision that's right for you. The entire staff is nice. The office is very clean.

Updating: I spoke to Dr Rich. who apologize profusely about the name mix up but reassured me the med was correct. My dog ended up passing a few weeks back and I emailed him to let him know at 10:30PM and he responded immediately. He is very Kind! I have been with this vet since I was a child, since it wasn’t even in this location so naturally as an adult i brought my dog here, one they are extremely pricey, second my dog whom is only 7 has lymphoma, and was given prednisone to keep her comfortable for the remaining time she has, yesterday i realized they didn’t give me HER MEDICINE it has a different dogs name, dogs breed and different owners name. I called and left a voicemail and STILL haven't gotten a call back. Luckily, a girl i went to school with works there and was ABLE TO HELP ME and give me some peace that at least the medication was correct. I wont name her just in case, but really disappointed that my entire family uses this vet and they don't even have the decency to call and apologize and let me know the meds are correct. I will never use them again, and to me thats very concerning to possible mix up a patients important medications.

Extremely rude. Took incorrect notes on what was wrong with my dog and when I called back because he is getting worse they basically told me that I was out of luck and they couldn’t do anything.

The best animal hospital around.they really care about the animals and the owners.. Dr Richard Deen helped us tremendously with having to deal with everything.

Words cannot express how highly I recommend this practice!! This is the BEST vet practice in the entire area! The entire practice is filled with incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable people who genuinely love animals and want to help you and your pet. From the front desk staff to the techs and veterinarians, everyone goes out of their way to provide your pet with attention and care. All of my questions are always answered. I receive follow up calls to check on my pup. I never feel rushed. A special thank you to Dr. Wilcox, Dr. Racier, Lisa, Dylan, Jamie, Justine, Autumn, and Edie! We will always bring our pup here and continue to recommend you to everyone we know! Thank you for everything!

Wow! This place charges $70 just to walk in the door and they do all they can to add on additional charges. On top of the astronomical price, the staff is rude and unprofessional. The vet tech let my scared shelter cat run all over the floor looking for a place to hide instead of comforting her back to the carrier. The vet was maybe 25 and did absolutely NOTHING! He was with my cat a total of 2 mins tops. Than, I was told someone would call w test results, surprise, no one did, I had to call them. Unless you have lots of money to blow, id stay away from this vet!!

I took my dog here for years until the Vet told me that it was wrong to feed my dog the barf diet. Very uneducated !!! It is excellent for a dogs health oppose to feeding them kibble! Will not be returning, I found a vet who is educated on this topic

I really can’t say enough great things about my experience here today. Our family dog was dealing with an emergency this morning and our vet did not have any openings for a few weeks due to limited staff. I decided to call around, I called here today at 10:30am explaining our emergency and the receptionist put me on hold to see if we could be fit in. She came back and said come at 12:30! We were in and out in an hour and the problem was solved. Thank you so much Dr. Richard Dean and staff for a very positive and efficient experience. It was greatly appreciated!

I have been coming here for 3 years & I really just want to thank the staff. They work SO hard they are never rude or annoyed they will ask you detailed questions & are genuinely interested in your fur babies. Everyone loves animals in this office and honestly Dr Jennifer R has to be one of the kindest doctors we have ever encountered. She will explain anything to you in detail until you understand it 100%, she never rushes you they will even ask us to write all of our questions down for them ahead of time! In the beginning I had a list of like 14 questions the dr wrote out the answer to each question AND explained them to me in person! This office is always compassionate they will find a way to help you when your baby is sick even if they are booked, short staffed, etc and they always do it with a smile. We are so so appreciative of you guys in every way. What you guys do is so important and we truly love each and every one of you so much!

Bayshore veterinary hospital and especially Dr Raicer are amazing I cannot say enough good things about them. Our boston had to be unexpectedly put to sleep and the compassion that was showed was incredible I could never thank them enough. They also helped our pug who has seizure get the correct dosage of medicine our previous vet had her at a much higher unnecessary dosage. From the bottom of our hearts thank you.

I had a really good visit yesterday with my baby Sebastian, a 12 week old kitten. They took great care of him and helped me figure out what the issue was. Prices were also reasonable. I definitely recommend!

Recently I brought in my old dog Maggie for annual check-up and vaccinations. Dr. Raicer was very knowledgeable & did a great job in performing comprehensive exam of Maggie. She explained everything clearly to me. Also, the entire staff was friendly & efficient. In addition, their prices are reasonable. I'll bring all my pets to them & strongly recommend them to every pet owner.

We had to bring our sweet Guinness in to be put to sleep last night and every single person we came in contact with was absolutely incredible. From the front desk taking my last minute call before they closed and allowing us to come in, to the techs and doctors, each individual was so kind and compassionate. They made an incredibly difficult situation a bit easier to handle. Many thanks.

They are polite and understanding. We have been able to get our cats in within hours of our call just about every time. They are caring and thorough, and everyone there seems to genuinely love their job!

I wish there were more stars because I would give them all. I'm a single Mom with one human child and two fur children. It's really hard to find affordable vet care and people who love their job but it was really easy to find it at Bayshore. I was given the recommendation by my dog sitter and I keep sending her thank you texts. My dog had an emergency situation, we were new patients, they saw us within an hour, surgery was completed same day, and I will be able to satisfy the bill reasonably. Most caring group of people who are on call every day for our loved furry friends. They saved my dog p0rky's life on more than one occasion I don't think my best friend would be with me today if not for them ALL..???? Best most amazing place ever THANK YOU ALL.

We brought our baby in unable to walk or barely move. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs to the doctors were so caring, considerate, thorough and loving! I can’t say enough about what a professional yet loving experience we had!

Brought in my guniea pig to have his teeth grind down and got back a Guinea pig that could barely breath. He died hours later. Now we lost our precious little one, my sons are devestated and I had to pay 400 dollars for this horrible experience. Never should have happened this way! They should have done better????

Bayshore Veterinary Hospital is absolutely the best! I moved from NY to NJ last June and the one thing I was concerned about was finding a great place to care for my cat and also groom her, since she is long haired. I had used the same Vet for nearly 40 years, so I was very nervous. However my fears were totally gone after visiting Bayshore Hospital this past week. The entire staff is incredibly professional and friendly. Dr. Mickie was thorough and took the time to explain everything to me and ease my fears. And the groomer is wonderful! Kennedy is not an easy patient and needs to be sedated. They took excellent care of her and she looks beautiful! And today not only did Dr.Mickie call me personally with her test results, but also sent via email, the detailed report. I most definitely will be going back to Bayshore for all of Kennedy's needs and for her regular grooming. I highly recommend them. Very happy I found them!

This hospital killed my dog. It took them two months to send us to a real hospital for an ultrasound. They did not diagnose cancer of the stomach. After an exray the doctor said my dog had something in his stomach and gave us medicine for vomiting. If they would catch this early enough my dog would still be alive. They only mentioned ultrasound after we pushed them for it. By then it was too late to do anything. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Great staff..good people there..they really care..
