Absolutely Trash! So went for a first vet check for my pup, sent records in advance, Dr. Wellington didn't even read what was sent. (Strike 1). During his time with my pup Dr.Wellington didn't do regular exam checks that I have seen most vets do. (IE Checking eyes with light, checking inside ears, or even opening mouth to see his teeth)(Strike 2). He literally just rubbed the dogs chest and said "He's in good shape". After the horrible exam, we then went to the front and asked a general question about pmicrochip. One of the ladies in the front was giving us the information we needed then a rude staff member came up and said "No they need to call the microchipping company and can find out any information they need to know). Honestly I wouldn't bring an animal here if it needed to be put down. Absolutely Trash!

All of the staff is great! My dogs love them.

The office staff is rude and unprofessional stay clear of this place!

My current veterinarian referred me to Well Pet to help me with documentation for my pet to travel. We have had a great experience since the initial visit! The team at Well Pet is very friendly and accommodating. They are diligent and made the process easy for me and my dog Kain. We are relocating overseas and I can’t thank them enough!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly recommend!!

Super friendly and staff. Doctor is a great balance between firm, careful, assertive and friendly. Not to mention smart and always give the best remedy after a proper assessment and diagnosis. They give you options and never pushy. Their recommendations are spot-on and helpful. Well pleased!

Dr. Wellington is very attentive and takes the time to explain things about my pet's health so I understand everything. His staff are all very warm, kind, patient, competent and great with my dog and everyone I see them interact with. So nice to find a great Vet that is super close to home too!

I love Well Pet Hospital. I have been taking my fur baby there si nce he was a puppy. The doctor is pleasant..caring...and professional. The staff are also very nice. I wouldnt take my dog anywhere else!!

Dr. Wellington and staff are both kind and compassionate. Dr. helped confirm today it was "ok" and the right time to put down our cat Snickers. I was able to stay as long as needed before and after. Dr. Wellington and staff has cared for my dog for more than 5 years. Great facility, even better people. If you have a pet, this is the place you want to bring them.

It pains me greatly to write a negative review at all, but I feel it is my duty as a pet mom of 3 (2 cats and one dog) to let people hear my experience with this vet. My oldest cat has been having issues, losing weight, vomiting and having diarrhea for quite some time. Most recently brought her in, and was told she was ok, to just feed her more.... My lab puppy was spayed by dr Wellington, I kept her still, inactive, kept her cone on, and her incision leaked profusely 4 days later. When I brought her in, the tech accusingly asked me if she had the cone on at all times, and I was brushed off once again as it being ok. My puppy was crying in the waiting room and spinning in a circle. I asked if the vet could look at her one more time, and was then told that the incision was infected, and they wrapped the leaking incision so poorly that she leaked all over the back seat of my car. She somehow ended up with a rash as well in the area where she was shaved for the spay. So. That’s when I brought her and my cat to another vet for a second opinion. Puppy needed a higher dose anti biotic and a spray for the rash, and ended up with a seroma because the stitches were not done properly, not because of the level of activity of the puppy, which is what the tech rudely accused me of. My cat has a high white blood cell count and is going for additional testing at the new vet. I’m not mentioning the new vet as it is unfair, this is not an advertiser for a different vet. This is a valid true account of how poorly my pets were taken care of by wellpet and I urge you all to find a different veterinarian.

Dr. David Wellington is simply the best. He's very caring and compassionate about the clients and their pets. He has taken excellent care of my pets, I trust him and his staff. It's a great feeling knowing that my furbabies are in such great hands that I don't mind driving from the Bronx. Martha is very loving with the clients. I truly believe that you will be very happy with the services and attention your pets have here.

We brought our cat Oscar here because of issues he was having with his eye. The staff were so sweet and friendly, they were very gentle with him and he stayed very calm when receiving eye drops. There was barely any wait time and the prices were very reasonable. Excellent care was provided and we’re confident that he’ll be feeling better in no time :)

Well Pets is the best veterinary practice in the area. Period. Dr. Wellington is a caring, thorough and well trained veterinarian. The staff is courteous and professional. The billing practice for services is ethical and fairly priced. I have been to a few other practices. This place is a cut above literally everyone in the area.

Dr. Wellington and his staff are caring and compassionate. One of my cats was sick recently, and after he examined her and did blood work he gently explained that she had stage 4 kidney disease. It was a shock, and I had to make the sudden wrenching decision to put her to sleep. He and his technician could not have been kinder or more understanding of my need to spend some time alone with her. Yesterday I picked up her ashes, and they were in a little box with her name engraved. Very touching. I highly recommend Well Pet.

I had a really hard time making the decision to let my kitty cat go. Dr. Wellington, his assistants, Martha, and even the front desk secretary—very very patient, caring. It makes all the difference in the world how you get to say goodbye to your pet. I would highly recommend. Dr. Wellington knows what he is doing. And he takes the time to listen, really LISTEN. Rare combination these days.

Dr. Wellington and his staff are just wonderful. They took care of my dying 17-year old cat with such kindness, compassion, and honesty, as if he were their own. The fee was incredibly reasonable, and there was no attempt to sell me unnecessary treatments to prolong his life. Dr. Wellington and his assistant sent my boy on his final journey with gentleness, respect, and caring. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a veterinarian who is in this business because they truly love animals. That means a lot, especially to someone who has had some really appalling experiences with other local vets. He is the best veterinarian in the area, by far, and in it for all the right reasons. We love Well Pet! Dr. Wellington is kind, patient, intelligent, and always up to date with the veterinary literature. The facility is spotless, it’s always easy to get an appointment, the wait time is minimal (if any), and the pricing is more than reasonable. I struggled with one of my Newfoundland's which has severe allergies. No Vet in NJ could figure out. We moved and I found Well Pet Animal Hospital and I never looked back. The front staff is great and Dr. Wellington nailed my dogs problems after the first visit. My Newfie is extremely happy now and is back to his old mischievous self along with his son tossing my house in disarray. One of the best Vet's in the Cedar Grove area.
