My kitty will not well. South paw took us on the same day. Great, Caring and Loving Staff. Very thorough Doctor. Thank you ????

We have been dog parents for forty years, i left there crying. Our first visit, the dr. Is cold and robotic, Gave us a supplement which made my pupp sick, I called and they said come back for x rays ! She was healthy when i brought her in there! I will never ever set foot or paw in that cold hearted office again!!!! They did not even ask how our pupp was feeling nor did they care! No bedside manner at all! I gave her rice and chick broth and she is slowly perking up, stopped the supplement i paid dearly for, also they are expensive and want every test given after routine bloodwork where her liver enzymes were slightly elevated! We are giving her higher quality food ! Do not go there! We are livid! Stay away!!!!

Staff is very compassionate, we had to put our Lil girl miniature schnauzer down today. ????

Everyone in the office was wonderful when I brought my furrbaby in. Unfortunately her diagnosis was grim and we had to say goodbye to her. They were up front and honest with prognosis, cost, and most importantly what was best for my pet. They took care of everything in the office right away and were so caring and understanding while being professional. Under the worst of circumstances I am glad I chose to take her to South Paw and highly recommend this vet for your pet.

We were visiting Stone Harbor for the long weekend over Memorial Day, and on Friday morning, we realized our dog was behaving strangely and did not seem to feel well. After conferring with our home vet, we decided to call South Paw to see if they could see our dog to diagnose a possible UTI. Despite being booked up for the day, they were able to accommodate our urgent issue and squeeze our dog in for some testing and diagnosing. Not only were they prompt in diagnosing the precise issue we feared our dog was suffering from, they also found that she had a double ear infection and were able to assist with flushing out her ears. South Paw was prompt, thorough, efficient, and incredibly wonderful to work with. Andrew was very friendly, patient, and informative on initial intake; Holly was so kind, secured all the necessary information to make the appropriate diagnosis, and provided me with detailed aftercare instructions; and Dr. Marks was knowledgable and thorough in providing us with all the information we needed to make the appropriate care decisions for our pet. We are so grateful for their assistance on a last minute basis, and we are thrilled to have peace of mind over the long weekend about the health of our pet. We highly recommend South Paw Animal Hospital - they are wonderful, knowledgeable, and very caring.

Absolutely love this vet. I had an emergency over the weekend and took my little one to the closest vet they diagnosed the main issue but failed to treat or tell me about other issues going on. On Monday I called South Paw got my girl in within 30 min and got more information and her feeling back to her self with 24 hrs. Thank goodness for good DRs like her. Oh and did I mention it cost me a tenth of the cost as well. What a ripoff these “emergency” vet hospitals are.

I have never had a bad experience at South Paw, everyone there is wonderful! I love knowing that I’m leaving my puppies in kind and caring hands since we cannot be inside at this time for visits due to Covid. It’s a different experience for sure, but the staff have made it almost feel completely normal. My puppies always want to go back inside with the girls when they bring them out, even after getting vaccinations. I had a list with A LOT of questions on our first visit, and being a new puppy mom I was nervous, but Dr Marks took the time to review all my questions and concerns with me and went right down my list answering all of them. I would highly recommend the staff at South Paw and Dr Marks to anyone looking for a vet! They’re professional, reliable, extremely responsive to phone calls and always call with test results.

Thank you South Paw Animal Hospital. Our 14+ year old rescue cat is a challenge to treat as she is overly anxious whenever visiting any veterinarian office. The caring staff along with Dr. Marks worked creatively to administer tests that would lead to identifying some thyroid health issues that are being addressed. Our cat is feeling so much better now. Great veterinarian, great techs, great office staff.

Very good with communications across the board,from confirmation of appointment, to answering any and all questions you have,no matter how big or small they are. We have a new Frenchie who has a lot of needs and Dr. Marks took the time to go over everything, and her staff is super friendly and professional.

I took my dog Dixie on 4/8/2020. She really needed her nails trimmed (they were long like talons and was getting caught on things). An employee met me outside and returned a short while later with my precious dog and her nails were professionally trimmed. It wasn't a dire emergency but I was grateful they were open and they took the nessary precautions due to the virus....THANK YOU!!

I recently took my cat Klaus in for the first time. The staff was great! Quick and responsive. But beyond that, I had an emergency with my dog this weekend. I had to take her to the emergency vet (a diff hospital) but I called South Paw to see if they could help me sooner. They were honest and told me they could take her sooner, but depending on the issue she may need to go to the hospital anyway. She’s home now and on the mend, and today South Paw called to check in on my girl to see how she’s doing. Even though they didn’t care for her they still clearly cared about her. I HIGHLY recommend South Paw for amazing treatment for you and your animals. Thank you Andrew and staff!

Have been coming to South Paw almost since the opening. I trust Dr. Mark's totally. She has taken care of my three cats and a ferret with absolute professionalism and empathy. Her staff is excellent!

Staff are very friendly they took my cat at the last minute when my regular vet couldn't fit him in.

We were at the shore during the summer, when Toby’s started not feeling good. He has back issues, we took him to South Paw Animal Hospital, they were so caring and understanding, All of the staff showed how much they also love animals. They treated Toby like he was theirs, I very much appreciate the caring and professional service.

Says open on Sunday’s but went there and only vet tech there, and she could do nothing but give us directions to another facility. So don’t waste your time with them. Just go to Ocean View Animal Hospital!

Dr. Marks & her Staff are wonderful in their great care of our little Frankie... and also have an excellent Boarding service for their clients.
