A hardworking project to save animals. The Bow Wow thrift store is small but well organized. The volunteers are friendly and informative.

I visited the thrift which I haven't been to in over a year. Must be new volunteers because I felt the prices were much more reasonable than in the past. For a good cause also! Will visit again soon.

Lovely Thrift Shoppe for a good cause. Got some dog harnesses at a great price. There's also nice household items and clothing

Very nice facility, clean and friendly staff in the thrift store. Don't shop...adopt a new friend preferably an older companion who needs a caring and loving home. The life you change may very well be your own!!

Very nice place to get my cat neutered. He was also given pain medication (included in the cost). Surgery went well and my cat does not have change in his friendly affectionate behavior.

I went to the thrift store portion of the Jersey Shore Animal Center and they had a decent amount of items and they are in good condition. A lot though is geared towards an older audience.

Ranger was rescued from Tennessee. We adopted him in August of 2020. Gets along with all our cats and dogs. Gets us out for vigorous walks! Great guy! Thanks Jersey Shore!

Had to bring my cat Blue in. He was acting very strange. Crazy really. My car has no heat, so I was able to leave Blue inside office while I waited for our appointment. When we saw the doctor, the doctor could find nothing wrong. My husband had been in the hospital for 2 wks, so Blue was probably acting out for missing him. The doctor trimmed his nails and sent us home without charging me. Just want to say thank you to the doctor and staff. I really appreciate their help. Would definitely recommend.

I dont understand why I can't have a kitten if I have a 6 and 3 year old. That's absurd! They play fine with hamsters and smaller animals. But cant have a kitten 6 months or younger.

I’m glad that you have to fill out paperwork and prove that you’re going to provide a good home for a pet. There’s people that see puppies that are cute until they grow up and brought back. Owning a pet is a responsibility and that’s how it should be.

DO NOT GO IN IF YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING A PET...ESPECIALLY IF YOU JUST LOST ONE! YOUR HEART WILL BE BROKEN EVEN MORE...JUST LIKE MINE! IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE SO PICKY THEY SHOULD SCREEN EVERYONE BEFORE HAND INSTEAD OF BUILDING HOPES LIKE MINE! THEY DESTROYED ME NOW!!! Thanks for the hopes and dreams of the two i wanted to adopt! AND BY THE WAY THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO TAKE TWO SISTER ETC....BAD BAD BAD....

I adopted a 6 month teenager kitty in 2013, I was 64 years old at the time and my best friend had volunteered there and recommended to come down and look for a kitty. I did and found my beautiful cat Patrick, the love of my life. I recommended a woman I work with to go there last week as she was interested in adopting a kitten, she is in her mid 60's. When she went there she was insulted and was told cats can live twenty years and we can not allow certain age group of people to adopt because of that. My friend was highly insulted and said she would never go there ever again. No one has a guarantee on how long you can live, this was not right and upsetting to me, because I told her how pleased I was with my adoption with Patrick. I can understand being careful on who is adopting but there are so many cats and dogs that need homes and I have read a few reviews where people have been turned down that want to rescue an animal where they would be given a forever home.

Perfect pups, but the place is waaaay too demanding with their rules and regulations!! They would have come to a nice, loving and caring home... Don't waste your time, because you will walk away empty handed and heartbroken from this place....
