Cedars Veterinary Hospital Brick, New Jersey

This was our first time here after switching previous vet. Thr staff was friendly ,kind and caring. I'm glad we switched here. We made the right choice.

OFFICE IS VERY CLEAN. The Staff always friendly. Brought my Dog in for skin allergy and what was prescribed so far has worked.

We are SO happy we found this vet. We travel a lot with my husbands job and I feel like we find a new vet in every area we go to. This vet was extremely helpful and fit us in when an unexpected incident occurred. They were so kind and explained things in a calmly manner to me (crazy dog parent). They treated our sweet girl fast and quick and gave her lots of love. Very very happy with our choice of this vet!!!

Our dog has extreme anxiety at the vet and is a strong, stubborn, difficult little patient who does not want anything done to him. After recently moving to the area I chose this vet based on reviews and a neighbor recommendation. Had my first visit today and I'm extremely satisfied with the personal and services they provide.

5 stars + Dr Kim actually took the time to connect with me and my dog and get to know us and introduce herself.  She is so professional and personable.  She made me feel extremely comfortable as a 1st time customer.  She gave me the confidence I needed to know I'm in good hands. I FINALLY feel at peace with a vet and im guessing my dog does too,  she came out of a vet ofiice happy!!!  SMH...Assistant Ashleigh is super nice too!

I had scheduled a surgery at this location for my cocker spaniel. But in the interim my dog had in issue so I called them straight away and they got me in after hours to take care of the issue on the spot as opposed to having to wait until the original appqointment came around. They did not make me go to an emergency room. They took me right in and I was very happy with the service and always have been happy with the service here. I highly recommend this place to anybody having any issue with any animal they own.

Unbelievable experience. The real deal. We had to go there for the 1st time to put our 15 year old dog down. During the pandemic and covid-19 many vets wouldn’t let you be with your dog till the end. Dr. Makowski didn’t let our dog die alone and let her pass peacefully with family by her side. After amazing service that day, days later we received the nicest card and our dogs paw print. Amazing service, friendly staff, and now Dr. Makowski will be our forever vet.

If you love your pet you should take it to Cedars Veterinary Hospital for checkups and emergencies.

Was on the expensive side but it is an emergency clinic. Also,when I called ahead to ask about financial concerns they didn't tell me they charge for half day visits(12 hrs at a time). Would have been helpful knowing this information when I had asked. I know there are costs added to the final bill in accordance to what is done procedural wise (as there are with any normal vet visits). But these little tidbits of information are very helpful especially because I was getting help from family members to be able to fulfill the payment obligations properly. Would have been nice to be a little more prepared as to a closer rough estimate as possible. The facility itself is very clean and modernized to be able to provide the best care possible to your beloved pet.

We just moved to the area and I searched reviews for local vats. I am very happy that I chose Cedar’s Veterinary Hospital. They were WONDERFUL with my senior dog! Thank you very much!

The best animal Care in ocean county. Been going for years with my dogs.

Great vets. Helped my itchy dog tremendously. But didn't fix the problem it will take more than one visit lucky that they don't charge much after the first visit I think I remember pay 150 for the original visit and then it goes down to 65 for return visits which is good because I was thinking I didn't want to keep going there if I was going to spend 150 but I asked and it was only going to be 65 but that's just for the visit I still have to figure out what's going on with my dog and why she is so itchy

I love Cedars Vet. They truly care about the animals. I can be honest with them about my financial situation and they still guide me to make the best decisions for my pet. They send vaccination reminders as well which is helpful. Whenever there is an emergency they do their best to squeeze us in.

Sadly, I had to let my 15 year dog go . The staff and Dr.D were so kind, compassionate and sincerely caring. I have had to put other dogs down at another vet and cedars vet.made this trip as easy as possible. I will go back to them when I get another dog

Dr. Kimberly Makowski is smart, compassionate and conservative in her approach to treatment. Her staff is caring and responsive to client concerns. This is the third pet I have entrusted to Dr. Makowski's care. I highly recommend her.
