I will always recommend Carol and her team at Granite State Animal Hospital! She saved our 3 year old boxer when everyone else including the specialist had given up. Carol and her team were the first to show they genuinely cared. They never gave up! We’ve since switched care to Granite State and our healthy Chasey loves to stop in and say hi!! We are so incredibly thankful for all they’ve done for our family.

Dr Carol is the best! Vienetta..my poodle..loves going there!!I wouldn't go anywhere else or trust anyone else to care for my dog. She is amazing and really cares about the animals she treats. She is the best! All of her team are wonderful as well. It really tells you how great she is when your dog sees her and her staff and goes crazy to get in the door!thankyou for all your years of care!!!

I went with a young robin that got hit, I couldn't drive along like everyone else, was told by a few other vets she takes small birds. I called her when I sat in the parking lot, she said" I'm booked up with birds can't take the bird, she said well you'll have to find somewhere else, and could you get out of my parking lot, your taking up a space" never going back and NEVER will I recommend this place ! Totally heartless!!

Unlike Vienetta, the poodle, Pixel, the Rat Terrier, *hates* going to vet but he doesn't know what's good for him. He's a bit cranky at 15, a venerable age he reached *because* of Dr. Macumber ????

We went here a few years ago for our green cheek conure who had something wrong with his feet. We did not like her at all. She seemed to have no patience for people or animals. She was yelling at us (maybe it is just the way she talks but it came off as rude and angry) for our bird's wings not being clipped, sorry that's our choice. He doesn't need them clipped. It's no reason for her to lose patience with us and the bird. She also yelled at her staff and belittled them in front of us and would roll her eyes at them. I was embarrassed for each technician we saw get treated like that. She was very rough with our bird as well. One of the assistants wasn't holding our bird the way she needed so she roughly grabbed our bird and turned him the way she needed. Not gentle at all like you want a vet to be while handling your pets, especially birds. Then, our bird needed some sort of prescriptions, he got two, both were expired and we didn't notice until we got home, so my husband called her and told her and she said it was fine that they still work. That isn't the point. We paid for expired medications...sorry, but that seems wrong to me. ***RESPONSE TO OWNER*** It definitely is accurate. Why would I spend so much time and effort fabricating a lie and then posting it.

This place is listed on a website that it will take in birds and rehabilitate them. I brought in a hatchling that my son found on the steps of our apartment complex. The nest was nowhere to be found. The vet there turned me away and told me to go somewhere else. I asked why she couldn’t help me. She said that I had to call and make an appointment. She said she does this out of the goodness of her heart. I told her I understand, but the baby bird was found in the evening and I came right when the doors opened in the morning. If I waited any longer, surely the bird will die. I asked where else I could go or how I could at least care for the bird temporarily. She wouldn’t even take time to help me with simple instructions. So I took the baby bird to Wings of Dawn. Wings of Dawn got a pretty good donation from me. I will ask my friends to give too. Too bad your heart wasn’t in it, Granite State Animal Hospital! Please remove your name from the list. Especially if you are receiving government funds.

Dr. Maconber really cares about the animals. We always recommend her. We have cats (they are tasty), just kidding folks they are all family member and get treated so, dogs, parrots, and horses.

About a month ago we had a Chimpmunk get caught in a mouse trap. I was able to get it out of the trap and it was shivering uncontrollably.. I put it in my hands and warmed him up. Went and bought a hampster cage. Our hope was that he would recover and we could set him free. Unfortunately the trap hit his head area and he could not walk in a straight line. No broken bones and he could run, eat, pee, poop and all just could not walk straight. After 3 days we decided we should seek out a vet that could maybe nurse him to health (If possible) as we really were limited. We brought him to Granite State Animal Hospital. They said they could not promise anything but would try. We requested to take him back if he does recover so we can release him at our house where he is familiar with. I got a call today saying he was ready for pickup... so amazing.. The staff here are fantastic and a cannot thank them enough for their help..

Horrible I have a baby bird and rejected it because the "close soon " any person not willing to spend a couple of extra minutes to try and save him is heartless never gone here before but from that I do not want this person going near my animals go else where

I was running five minutes late, called them with notice and they said it was no problem. I arrived to sit in an EMPTY room with no receptionist for 35 minutes for them to tell me they couldn't see me because I was late.

Drove an hour + to get to here for my parrot and it was worth every second. She is amazing with birds, caring, and so knowledgeable. Received lots of great advice. She spent a ton of time with us and clearly cared. Rates are very reasonable.

The absolute best pet care I've ever seen. Everyone who works there go above and beyond to make you and your pet feel comfortable, the passion is strong! I highly recommend bringing your animals here. We would never consider going anywhere else.
