Puppies on the Run Hudson, New Hampshire

I really enjoyed our time, there. We like that each puppy had a pen, and wasn't in a cage behind glass. All but one was lively, alert and vocal (and the one that wasn't was sleeping soundly... probably had spent a lot of time playing, before we ever got there). We learned they work with specific breeders that they have met in person, and the majority of puppies they pick up themselves. For the ones that are further they use a transport service set up for the safe travel of puppies, and they have used them for many years.

Highly recommend this place!!! The staff is amazing! They shared all breeder information and then I did my homework! I even called the breeder and she was awesome. Her knowledge about the breed was great! She asked me if I would send her updates as the pup grew up. She wanted to know he was always doing good. It makes me happy how much everyone involved cares!

I was looking for a boxer BEFORE Christmas went in every week , Called all the time was promised pictures to see the females first , told I could have a choice , Every Time I went in an asked , promises were made an broken . You should be able to see a dog before you purchase . It’s Not about money it’s about a relationship , an making a family with your pet . Didn’t get that vibe from here , I went through fetch a pet . Much better got to meet an play with our puppy an great match

I don’t understand how they can call themselves an adoption service…. They sell puppies that they purchase from puppy mills…and call it rehoming …. Disgusting … and now because of Covid you have to put a no refundable down payment on a dog you see online without meeting the dog…..how is this possible!!! Response: I have not been misinformed, I experienced your misleading marketing personally. I visited the facility and observed 2 very sickly boxer puppies, one of them clearly had something seriously wrong with its eye and was clearly febrile and lethargic. When I asked the owner about the condition of the dog she said to me “ ya he’s seen a vet and they can’t figure out what’s wrong with it” I asked why the dog had not seen a specialist and her response was “ well I can’t spend that kind of money on it, I would lose money and have to charge you more to rehome it” That is not REHOMING… that is clearly allowing an animal to suffer for monetary gain. And recently I called to ask if I could come in to see a puppy and the girl who answered told me “ because of Covid you will need to put a 350 dollar deposit down before you meet it and if you don’t want the dog you will get 30% of the deposit back” so ignorant I am not…. These are facts… I am disgusted with my town for allowing your horrible business to operate here and can’t wait for the day that I no longer have to drive by and feel the nausea.

Google has the wrong hours posted which I read they are having a tough time having Google change it, they are aware. However, we showed up at 4:10 on a Saturday and they were closed but the girl was nice enough to let us in while she was cleaning. She didn't make us feel rushed at all and even took out toys we could use to play with the dogs. I am a General Manager of a big box retail store and was impressed that she let us in with such a great attitude! My associates are always annoyed when someone comes in close to closing but she understood the Google hours. It was clean and the dogs are not in tiny cages. Definitely one of the best "pet stores" I have seen that sells puppies. The pups looked well taken care of and the 2 girls were friendly and helpful. Once they get a pup that catches my eye I would definitely have no issues purchasing here.

Said it was as open till 6pm online just to drive an hour and find out it’s not even open when it’s only 4:30 pm

My puppy is a hell on wheels but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks Puppies on the Run!

We got our mini duchshund here and he’s fantastic and healthy a year later. He’s much bigger then he was supposed to be so if you’re super picky maybe find a breeder but we love him and he’s a great boy

Amazing people and a great place

They are so great, the staff absolutely adore the dogs and take such great care while they are there as well as dedicate themselves to finding the best homes for these beautiful dogs. Highly recommend them.

We got our golden retriever puppy here and the staff was very friendly and very informative with any questions we had. Our puppy is a so sweet and playful we’re so thrilled to have him in our family.

I got my golden retriever here at the end of January! Her name is Gia and the girl who helped us was named Mia, so so sweet! Process couldn’t have gone any better. Gia had a million papers to back up her vaccinations. She is microchipped and the best girl! ❤️

I was looking for a mini dachshund with a breeder and it impossible to find one. I found Puppies On The Run and got “Frankie”, had him checked by the vet and they said he was a happy, healthy pup. He is so flippin cute and fun. POTR was clean, friendly, and make sure they get their puppies from reputable breeders. I recommend them highly!

This is a amazing place !!! It’s a shame that anyone can post anything even false information!! But I was here and got a puppy that someone didn’t want trying to make claims against them and I took her home had her checked out and she has been with us now all weekend and she is absolutely perfect !! We have had absolutely no issues and she is a perfect well behaved puppy and gets along with my 5 year old Shepard mix like it’s her brother !!! Keep up the great work I will definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a new family member for their family !!!! Thank you again you were all very helpful and knowledgeable!!!

We got such a amazing puppy two years ago we decided to go back for her to have a friend and still were blown away by the people there. If your getting a puppy or just looking to play with some this is the best place around.

It's great that these puppies are finding homes, but they're not from reputable breeders & more often than not sick when come in...

So, they have puppies. Like, really, really, really cute puppies. And they wag their tails. And you can play with them. It's clean, friendly staff, and they have puppies.
