Staff at Hudson Animal Hospital are friendly, efficient and very professional. The doctors explain the care required for your pet and offer options of how to address. Max loves the atmosphere (or maybe just the cheese whiz!) We’ve been taking Max here since he was 8 weeks old and recommend it to anyone who wants a god experience for their pet.

I’ve been coming to Hudson Vet for over 4 years now and they are always very friendly and professional. They care very much about their patients and are very knowledgeable, however, If there is something they don’t have an answer to, they will figure it out and get back to me quickly. I appreciate everyone in this clinic and never hesitate to say Hudson Vet if people ask for a good vet in the area!

The staff are awesome to work with, they are all so nice, and caring as well. Dr Goldstein is very smart, competent and she cares about the well-being of your pet. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for the care of my pup

We had an ultrasound on Wednesday of last week and still have not heard from them. Yes, they use a contractor, however, it is Hudson Animal Hospital's (HAH) responsibility, not the contractor's to communicate with the client. I believe by now we should have received the results at least the preliminary results. Instead, all we got were crickets. While not a bad thing, they called after we told them to sedate if need be when we dropped off. We also signed an estimate with the sedation cost after saying sedate should she need it. What would have happened had I not answered my phone when they called? I get it, however, it wastes everyone's time. Overall though it was a good experience.

We've been bringing our dog to Hudson Animal Hospital for his entire life (8 years, thus far). We can't say enough good things about Hudson Animal Hospital and their staff - we know our dog's health and his life is in good hands.

The waiting in the waiting room didn't take long but waiting in the examining room took longer, everything else was good

They care about the animals over payment. Great atmosphere with all that's going on with the vet shortage. Thanks for taking care of mickey.

I brought my cat here for her first check up and for follow up care. The technicians are caring and kind, the veterinarian's answer all your questions and concerns and don't push specialty care at you (high priced foods, preventative care, etc). They follow up with text/ email to check on the animal and the quality of service they provide. I recommend.

I adopted a kitten out of a rescue. She came with a spay coucher and Hudson was one of only 2 in New Hampshire that you could use the voucher with. Yesterday I was given a quote of anywhere from $300 to $700 out of pocket with the voucher. I was told without it the spay would be $1000. Are you out of your mind! I canceled and for $300 and no voucher my vet will do it!

Hudson Animal Hospital is amazing! I've been taking my animals to them for over 15 years and can't say enough good things about them! I recently called about an issue with one of my cats, and unlike most Vet's they didn't jump right to bring him in and run a bunch of tests.... Instead they gave me 3 options of things I could try at home and watch him for 24 hours to see if the issue resolved itself. Thankfully my little guy is back to his old self, issue resolved thanks to suggestions made over the phone from the tech I spoke with. Today I received a follow up call to check on my little guy and make sure that he was doing better. I can honestly say that no other vet has ever called back to check on an animal after a visit to the hospital, much less to follow up on a phone call... The Doctors, Tech's and staff at Hudson Animal Hospital truly care about the animals and their owners. They are professional and compassionate with the animals and owners. If you have a pet and are looking for a veterinary hospital to take care of your animals in a gentle, caring, compassionate & professional manner, I highly recommend Hudson Animal Hospital!!

I've been going here forever. When the office was taken over I stayed out of convenience and comfort not believing that there would be much of a change. I was terribly wrong. Over the years, I have had several "questionable" moments and kept going back thinking I was being overly sensitive. My first complaint is that they keep pushing product on me. Tried selling me a behavior specialist for an anxious cat instead of prescribing. Then tried up-selling 'care plans'. I left my bank for becoming more a retail outlet than providing services I needed. One thing I can't get past, is they take the animal to the back room for the exam and leave the human in what used to be the exam room. After a tech literally "dragged' my dog out the back door I told them I wanted my animal examined in the exam room. Not out back. Again, I kept going back thinking it was me. However, last visit I only needed an anti-diarrheal. My dog has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and got into a bag of cat food. My appt was at 5:15. I arrived at 5:00 so I expected to wait. When I checked in, the receptionist read his name wrong. I corrected her and she said "Oh, let me fix that". Keep that in mind. However, it was 5:55 before the doctor ever walked into the exam room. When the doctor and the tech walked in, there was no talking, no greeting, no discussion about what was going on. I was just handed a muzzle. I was puzzled. I'd been there a long time. And really didn't know what they planned on doing. She said if you could put that on...I said okay, but he's never been muzzled {I don't even know how to put it on} She said we keep proper notes and there are notes all over his account that he is muzzled every time. I said, no he has NEVER been muzzled. To which her tech said "I am sorry that you don't remember, but we always muzzle him". Well the last time he was there for bowel issues, they took his temp with his face between my shins and me holding his haunches. They never muzzled him. Neither has [chain store] for grooming. Neither has the emergency vets, AVC in Manchester that he sees often for his EPI {he was also adopted through there}. I was absolutely offended at their accusation that "I don't remember" my dog's visits. I would have gladly muzzled him if this doctor was scared for whatever reason {sidenote, my dog is not one of the more aggressive breeds - he is a mutt rescue possibly beagle/rhodesian/lab ridgeback mix} Had she talked first after leaving us there for an hour, maybe presented what she planned on doing and why she would like to muzzle him "this time" I would have been more receptive. However, instead I was insulted and my dog never received the care he needed. I could go on about the lack of knowledge they had for the EPI diagnosis 3 years ago - but that I didn't hold against them. Not a lot of people knew and it was a learning curve for me as well. But if I had listened to them, I would not have been able to afford the medical treatment my dog needed and he probably wouldn't be here today. There are many people at this office. Some are definitely better than others. But the treatment I received today was reprehensible and I can't give them any more "passes" and I can not recommend them. It is sad because it was once the best around.

Recently bought out by a corporate organization and can notice the difference. Prices are extremely high and I feel they are suggesting services that are not needed just to up the cost. I’ve been going here for years however due to a few recent bad experiences with how the staff has treated me and the prices going up I am switching and will no longer be going here. Gave 2 stars because MOST of the staff and vets are friendly and caring however the few bad experiences I have had recently really bothered me and therefore 2 stars is what I feel is accurate at this time

Our friends at Hudson Animal Hospital are amongst the most compassionate people we have come across. We recently lost our 12 year old Golden (Dakota), which as any animal lover knows is devastating to a family. Dr. Nicole Goldstein was truly professional and did everything she could possibly do to extend her life. The staff were sympathetic and tried to make the process as easy as possible. We would settle for nothing less than top-of-the-line care for our four legged family members. They will always be our hospital of choice!
