The staff at Northside are always great! And it is clear they enjoy what they do, it shows in the care they provide.

Caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I also really appreciate the fact that the vets here really work together with each other.

Thank you for always taking great care of all my animals. I have been coming here for 10 years and I know they have always been under the best care.

I called about my concerns, and they scheduled an appointment for her right away, and called me the next day about results and possible treatment options for her conditions I love going to Northside animal hospital, it’s been the best most attentive vet hospital I’ve ever taken my cat too!

I have been going to this vet for many years and always get great service. With the pandemic, it has been hard everywhere and with the workload you have, the service has not been hurt at all. Love you guys and will always return.

The staff at Northside has always been so warming and helpful everytime I bring a pet in. They're always on top of calling for appointments and medications. Lastly, they always call to check up on patients who they know are having issues. I'll always recommend them!

Hands down one of the best vets to go too. They are caring and always go above and beyond for my Shiba Inus! The vet techs and up front team are amazing!

Please read my review before taking your animal here! On the afternoon of 8/22/21 my French Bulldog started to appear inactive. By the following afternoon he screeched when he walked up a couple of steps to come in the house. At 4:00 I called Northside to ask if he could please come in or if they could at least give him some pain medication until he could get there. They said they did not have any appointments free and to try the emergency clinic. They also declined to give me pain medication because “it’s been a while since we’ve seen him.” (He was seen during Covid.) So now he had to suffer because of some silly timeframe rule?.. I called the emergency clinic and they suggested an emergency clinic in Ma that specialized in back issues. At this point he was looking worse and worse in a very short period of time and I could not imagine having to move him while in pain to bring him to a strange place in another state. A friend of mine allowed me to borrow pain medication for dogs and cats. I followed the directions and hoped he would improve overnight. I called Northside at 8:02 am the next morning 8/24 and left a voicemail saying that my dog screeched when he tried to move and to please call me back to give me an appointment or another recommendation. I gave him another dose of pain medication and by the afternoon he was a little better. I called the Deerfield Veterinary Hospital who immediately accepted me as a new client on an emergency basis. They saw us at 2:30. They refilled the medication I started since it was working and sent us home. He had simply injured his back and needed medication and rest as I suspected. But in the most desperate situation, Northside failed us. As I sit here at almost noon on 8/25 they still haven’t called. I can not believe that as an established patient, he wasn’t even worth a return phone call. In my voicemail I even stated that I had spoken to Devon the night before. I will never take my dog to that clinic again.

The Tech and the Veterinarian both explained everything to me very clearly. I felt comfortable and so did Maya. It was stressful for her but she was receptive to the ear cleaning and the treatment. They were wonderful and Maya is already acting more like her normal self.

I cannot say enough good things about this vet! I have been coming here for 3 years, ever since I rescued my dog Nova. Through 2 major leg surgeries and a whole lot of anxiety, Northside has been nothing short of amazing to work with! They always make a point to validate my concerns and to work with me and Nova to assure she has the least stressful appointment possible. Having Nova as my first dog also means I have tons of questions; which the staff never fails to answer respectfully and leaving me to feel more comfortable as an owner! Thank you so much for all of the support throughout these years and continuing to care for my pup!

My first experience there; the parking lot is a disaster area, I had to walk over people painting, my curb side experience was to call while in the parking lot and go in to get it myself and of all things the staff was rude. I will not be going back here.

Northside has been my vet for a long time. They saved my big orange tiger cat and years later, when he was at the end of life, a vet and tech came to our house to put him to sleep. It meant a lot to us because he hated going to the vet and we wanted him to pass peacefully at home instead of scared at the vet. They really care about your animal.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this vet. I had switched my two rabbits here because my vet that I bring my cats to is no longer seeing exotic animals. My rabbit had been having some sniffles for a short while and then started coughing up some mucus so I decided it was time to bring her in. They gave us a round of antibiotics for two weeks and it didn’t do anything. We went back again for another follow up and they gave us the same antibiotics for two more weeks. It still did nothing for my rabbit since she was still sniffling and sneezing up mucus. They still thought the antibiotics would work so they once again gave us a round of the same antibiotics for three weeks and it still did nothing. I called after we were about 2.5 weeks through the antibiotics saying that she was still sniffling and having mucus, the women on the phone told me she would touch base with the vet and have her call me that afternoon or evening. I did not hear from them for a week. At that point i followed my gut instinct and switched my bunnies else where (the new place we took them too was phenomenal, they did cultures to actually figure out the type of bacteria and what antibiotic would be best for her, and they did an X-ray, and the vet has already called a few times to check in and give me any new information that have on the cultures). My bunny has pneumonia now because she has been dealing with this condition for over 10 weeks. The ridiculous amount of money and time we wasted at this place when they kept just pumping her full of the same antibiotic that clearly wasn’t doing anything. They are awful about calling you back when they say they will, and their front desk is so disorganized - they are always running behind and we even had to wait in the car for close to an hour just for them to bring medication to the car. If I could give 0 stars I would, I do not recommend this place at all. Horrible experience and if anything it just made my poor bunny’s condition worse.

Folks working here are ALWAYS kind and understanding. They take the time to answer your questions and make you and your pets extremely comfortable. I never have to wait long to get into my appointments and they are always accommodating. They are also very transparent about pricing and do not try and force you into any treatments, etc. Prices are very fair as well. I highly recommend them!

The folks at Northside are so good with my furbaby. He may not like going to the vet, but I feel confident in the care he receives there. They all seem to know him by name!

Would not recommend if you have other options. I brought my dog in two month's ago for a cough and uti and brought him home with a antibiotic. When he finished the antibiotic, he was still coughing. They gave him the same antibiotic, and suggested testing for something unrelated and told me it wouldn't stop his cough. So naturally, i declined spending the money unnecessarily, during covid. They prescribed him another antibiotic, which did nothing. At this point, i had consented to a chest ex ray to see if there was more going on with him. During this discussion, the vet agreed to give him one more antibiotic until i could bring him in for his ex ray. She told me she would be prescribing him a completely different antibiotic. When i called to pick it up, they informed me that it was the same antibiotic i had paid for two other times, for $72, that did NOT work the first two times. This would have been the fourth time i spent $72 on meds that the vet knew was not working. They did not share my concern for his condition and did not try and extend help too me in any way, despite being a patient here for a few year's and spending a few hundred dollar's, just on his one visit alone. Would not recommend this vet if you are actually trying to help your pet.

We love Northside Animal Hospital! We recently adopted a dog who is extremely nervous and can be difficult to handle. They were able to accommodate us each time we’ve been in and can muzzle our little guy with no fuss! I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone. They also have exam rooms accessible from outside the building for dogs that may not do well with other animals!!

We are relatively new to the area and brought our 16 year old cat in thinking we may have to say goodbye but they not only quickly identified her problem, they treated her and rechecked her the next day. She is doing better already and we can't thank Dr. Henry and the vet techs who helped for their amazing kindness and positivity.

I've been going to this vet for almost 2 years now when I needed a good exotic vet. This place hands down has been the most knowledgeable in NH regarding sugar gliders. All my animals will be seeing Northside from now on!

Tried to call as a first time inquirer, was told they are not taking new patients (ok no problem) but before I could even answer the hung up on me... just a little rude and unnecessary
