As a long time patient mom of a senior dog, we've been a patient for the past 12 years. This vet practice has gotten so busy & the wait times have become ridiculous. Very poor communication and nobodyreally knows what is going on. We will be taking our business elsewhere and hopefully somewhere that cares a bit more.

I have been taking my doggies to them for a few years now. Service has declined. Understaffed or lack of interest in their job? Calls are not returned, they keep changing my dogs' vet, even after I asked them not to do that and requested they flag chart. Front desk is very disorganized and at check out they don't read the discharge orders, you missing information when you leave the clinic

I have always felt like I can rely on this place. My dog has always been taken care of and has been seeing the same doctor for nearly 10 years. Dr Hammond is amazing as well as all the other staff there.

This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine who takes her dogs here and I couldn’t be more happier with this place! My dog was having back to back seizures for the first time and on multiple occasions and they were so helpful in dealing with it. They have a good response time and always available for my questions. They took such good care of my old dog and being with them made our experience a little more comforting. I also used them for boarding and had no issues at all! I recently moved to the other side of town but will do the drive since I know they’ll take care of my dog or any other animal I bring in.

I've been too many veterinary hospitals and this is by far the best one I've ever taken my dog too. The staff and veterinarians are amazing friendly and knowledgeable. My 7 pound female blue nose Chihuahua needed major dental work and needed to be fixed they did both at the same time and she came out of the surgery with flying colors and was happy and healthy running around within a couple days.

If you like to leave messages and have nobody call you back this is the place for you. Messages were left with three different girls. Also, when you check out they forget to give you your pets medication and you have to go back in for it. On a positive note the staff is friendly and they do sanitize all the time

I took my dog in afterHer and her sister had a little scuffle. The face was superficial and I had told himI wasConcerned about the Neck Getting an abscess. He stressed it needed drain. Cost 1000. Ok we scheduled and dropped off. I then was xalled to pick her up. NO NECK DRAIN. SAID IT WOULD'VE GOT INFECTED IF OPENING NECK. PUT A SMALL SUPERFICIAL DRAIN ON HED. FACE AND KEPT MY 1,000. THE WORTS PLAXE. CAREFUL. I told him you could calm me. If you had found something that would cost more you would have called me. Never again I

I brought a feral cat to be treated for a swollen face and was charged close to 200.00 for 3 shots. The vet told me if dental work was needed 300-500. I asked if he knew of any low cost clinics he said no. Funny a practicing vet does not know of low cost clinics when I went home and searched and found Animals Alive Village online. Not helpful caring or compassionate about or for the animals here. Just worried about making money.

I called Friday at 3:45 and told him that my dog looked like he was dying not feeling well and not responding she told me emergency clinic is between 4 and 6 PM go ahead and bring him in sounds serious I brought him in at 4:50 PM and a nurse came in and told me he wasn’t dying and that he seemed fine and that the doctor wouldn’t check him unless I paid the $200 emergency fee or to come back the next morning when they have time to check him because they had appointments for vaccines. Apparently my dog dying is not an emergency for the doctor to see us but the vaccination appointments were more important! Needless to say my dog has passed away I can’t believe the service there no regards for how upset I was and how I felt about my poor puppy I will never go back there again with any of my dogs.RIP HERCULES

We had been going here for years for my cats, but in recent years all they care about is upselling, taking advantage of your emotions, and have little empathy for the animals they are seeing.

The staff (starting with the front desk techs to all the doctors) are always courteous, respectful, and professional. They are quick to clean & sanitize the exam rooms and sweep the common area to prevent buildup from pet hair. I have been bringing my pets there for a long time and will continue to do so. Kudos to Dr Lewis for his leadership and patience in training students and young doctors in the veterinary environment.

Duncan has gone here for a while now to get his nails trimmed. Every time they see him you can tell how much they like him and I know he’s always in good hands.

Dr Lewis is the most inept, unqualified, unprofessional excuse for a vet I've ever had the displeasure of meeting in my life. I've had multiple poor experiences with his personality and today was the icing on the cake. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here, especially not for surgery considering he does a botched job and doesn't send home animals with proper pain medicine. Buyer beware, he will mame your pet and cause undue suffering if he doesn't like you or you ever have any issues with him. He also tried to tell me he OWNED the office which from his outward appearance and lack of professionalism is highly unlikely.

I have been a client of grand Montecito Animal Hospital for over 12 years. I have had several pets that have experienced great care at this hospital. Over the years, I have noticed that there have been several customer service that have stayed with Dr. Lewis. There has always been great care and the front desk and back desk, people have never let me down. My experience has always been top notch, and the care that has been given to my dogs along with the fact that the doctors will sit down and explain what is going on with my dogs after the exam. I have read the email that was sent to us regarding the shortage of doctors and the fact that we have been in a major pandemic for some time, therefore creating some difficulties as far as appointments and having to wait to reach a representative. I can easily get frustrated waiting to get an appointment, but I know that once I am able to see the doctor, get medication and just know that the staff and doctors genuinely care. I am a huge fan of Dr. Lewis, he has treated my pets from the beginning, and he will always be courteous and professional with your complaints. Thank you to the staff, for treating both my dogs this week., they are on the mend, and I am very grateful Josephine Rodriguez

Watch your fees and all the extra charges they like to add on plus you better not be a walk in around 3 o'clock or after because they will start charging a $200 after hours emergency fee even though it's only 3 or 3:40 in the afternoon like they did for me. Find a new animal hospital.

Dr. Lewis and Dr. Stolzer have been the best vets our animals have ever seen. They have been sure to give each of our pets love and outstanding care. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old best friend yesterday. This vet is relatively new to me, they’d never seen my dog (but had done well with our cat previously). We were taking him in because he was weak and at the end of his life. We wanted a second opinion because we really couldn’t bear to lose him. Dr Bailey was patient and so compassionate. She didn’t try to sway us any specific direction. She offered us kindness, personal stories of her own pets and difficult choices and helped us come to the decision on our own. She made sure he was sedated and comfortable in my arms and we were allowed to sit for as long as we wanted. We were not rushed. They took payment quietly and gently while having us decide how we would like his remains back, ahead of time so we were able to think only of him once they brought him to us. We sat with him and spent some times saying goodbye and then Dr Bailey came in when we asked and she let me hold him while he transitioned, comfortably and peacefully. We noticed they had placed little hearts on his bandage. This was the hardest day of my life and they made it somehow bearable. I really appreciate everyone we interacted with from them doctor to the administrative staff. Thank you.

I took my puppy as a walk in due to the suggestion of the receptionist because she was having issues that were urgent. Upon walking in, they asked me if I had a mask. I did not. They did not provide one, nor did they say anything about a mask being required for patrons when I called previously. You have to provide masks if you’re going to require them. The receptionist told me that I would have to wait outside in my car so they could provide services curb side, however, it’s over 100 degrees outside. I refused to wait outside in the heat with my dog. I’m astonished they even suggested that and it worries me of their capacity to care for my puppy correctly when they suggest such a ridiculous way to provide service. Anyway, Dr. Lewis, I believe, came out and decided to have an argument with me despite him having “critical patients” he needs to tend to. I’m not sure why he was wasting his time arguing with me if his current patients need such urgent care. I guess his personal beliefs about masks are above doing his job. Meanwhile, a man who asked in without a mask on and no one said anything to him about a mask. Is it because I’m a woman that I was treated that way? I don’t appreciate being treated differently than other people in there, like I have some kind of disease. Completely unreasonable. As stated previously, if they would have given me a mask, I wouldn’t have made such a fuss about it. I wouldn’t have liked it, but I would have worn it. I will absolutely never return to this business because it is poorly run and each employee is unprofessional. It’s an animal hospital. Not a human hospital, so mask requirements do not apply as they do in medical facilities. Finally, if you are going to be so completely rude to people because of the masks, you really should have some there to provide for those who are following CDC guidelines and actual reality. We are well over a year into the pandemic so you would think privately owned businesses would have SOME common sense by now.

Even when you have an appointment services take forever and they do not update owners in a timely fashion.

Worst vet ever. Stay away. Front staff have no clue. (Kids) hostile environment with angry customers being upset with the front staff, not knowing what they are doing.

Honestly this vet has the worst prices in Vegas For any type of procedure on your pet I just brought my Chihuahua in because she had a cyst on her leg and it popped they didn’t do anything because I said I didn’t have enough money for the surgery what was over $1000 and we’re in the middle of a pandemic like where is your compassion people isn’t your job to save pets lives then why did you guys leave my Chihuahua with an open wound on her paw? Is there any way I can sue
