Vet approved a prescription that should have not gone through. We caught it early and the doctor called the company to cancel. The items HAD NOT shipped and the “customer service” representative was rude and refused to call the pharmacy to pull the package. I refused the package at the mailbox and it was shipped back to Covetrus. Bad, bad, bad. Would not recommend this company for any amount of money.
UPDATE: “Jenae” informed that if I cancel the dispute with my credit card company, Covetrus would refund me in full. I called USAA and they informed that if I cancel the dispute, I cannot reopen it (I figured as much just wanted confirmation).

21 minute wait on the phone. They send Robo calls to customers. Rude, clueless, NONexistent customer "service". have a don't care, not my problem attitude. This company is among the Worst

They sent me a beautiful card in the mail for my dog's passing, and they didn't have to do that. They put a seed in there as well to plant so that we can think of her always. Such a great sweet thing to do! Thank you!

Failed to make any mention of a prescription pending approval when refills ran out, nor did the website give any indication of an issue and allowed me to make a payment and assume an order would be on the way (as I had been refilling without issue for the last year) for over a week. I waited on a delivery that never came, and when I called they were casually like "oh yeah, that is awaiting approval so we haven't shipped it yet". For something that is meant to keep my pet alive. These people are delivering life-maintaining prescriptions and don't think to mention when there's an issue with your order. So irresponsible, and so unapologetic. They were willing to do exactly nothing to help expedite this issue and now I am scrambling hard with local vets. This company straight up should not exist when animals lives depend on them having their s*** together. Obviously, I'm pretty pissed about this experience. Vets first choice, from your misleading name to your horrible customer service, please do the world a favor and shut it down.

Vet ordered an antibiotic for a sick horse on June 5th, 2017. Then a few days later I get an email that says pending. ??? ok so call Vet he calls me back to tell me it was back ordered. Vets First Choice had not even called the vet nor me to let us know the medication was on Backorder. So vet orders same thing only in 2 smaller tubs - It's not back ordered so it is supposed to go out the next day. This was the 8th of June. Now this is a SICK Horse waiting for the medication. Nothing on the 12th of June so I call again!! The rep says the tracking number we have is not coming up and that she will get ahold of the warehouse then call me. This is at 8am. AT 2PM I haven't heard anything so I call AGAIN. Rep says the tracking number is correct but that they can't see where my orders is. Somewhere between Omaha NE and Kansas City . OK Again I still have a SICK horse. Now Omaha is 3 hours from where I am. So my medication needed on the 5 is lost somewhere on the 12??? AND I STILL HAVE A SICK HORSE. Seems they could care less. AND they need to change policies , at least on Antibiotics to ship same day over night knowing that this medication is NEEDED by a sick animal on the other side.!!! Ended up picking up pills instead of powder (ordered) from another vet in the area to get by since we have NO idea where or when the package will come. Rep says "It's shipped" OMG

First order was delayed a week because they lost the prescription then the package was lost. reorder was not processed as promised. incompetent customer support. Will not be using their services again.

Auto refill works great for me and medicine is a good price. This is for my dogs so I don't know if it makes a difference but I was shocked to see the bad reviews. I have been extremely pleased. I just started with them in 2017 so maybe they have improved. Thanks Vets First Choice. You have made my life soooooo much easier!

This company fradulently inflates medication and shipping costs and signs deals wih local veterinarians to further their quest of supremely bloated price points.

Prices are close to what other online pet pharmacies charge, and it is conveniently integrated with our vet's practice.

If is was possible to give no stars I would. Absolutely awful. I first found them slow to ship, but as long as I ordered the product in enough time, I would be fine. My dog is on a special diet and can only eat a certain type of food. So given this company sells this type of food, you would think they would be aware that if they had a shipping delay, that they should notify the customer so they can make other arrangements. I can tell you they dont. I order my product and since I didnt get a shipping notification within 5 days of ordering, I called them. I was told there was a delay and it would be shipped that day. 5 days later, I get a notification that my product was prepared to be shipped. So clearly it wasnt shipped when they said it would and it will be another 4 days until I get the product. Unacceptable. I didnt think to check the reviews on this company before signing up since it was connected to my vet. Lesson learned. Looking at the reviews, I can tell I am not the only one.

This company dropped the ball in several ways over several days and failed to step up to correct the problem, costing a pet, a customer (now an ex-customer), and a veterinary clinic in the process. Want a reliable vet pharmacy? Look elsewhere.
