10/10 would recommend to anyone needing orthopedic care for their pet! They got us in quickly and had exceptional customer service from the moment I reached out to them to schedule the consultation. My pup just had TPLO surgery with Dr Tan on Wednesday and he completely put me at ease with explaining the procedure and I could tell she was in great hands. The staff went above and beyond by sending several text updates throughout her stay as well. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The facility is clean and modern. I would absolutely go back for any future needs for my fur kids.

Our dog had surgery at Sirius Vet after being referred to them. They were nice, very explanatory, and the surgery was successful. The surgery was on a Thursday, we picked him up on Friday. When I asked, "...can I call you over the weekend if we feel there might be a problem?...", the answer was a FLAT NO. "Call your primary vet - we don't work weekends or nights." I was stunned. The cold, entitled manner the message was delivered with was almost hanging in the room, next to the tiny pad on the concrete floor that my dog had to sleep on after surgery. This clinic needs to hire a consultant to review who they want to be, because your message is we are not interested in the welfare of your pet, we're interested in revenue. This might work for you today, but it won't in the future.....

I can't give a high enough rating for Dr. Horstman and his staff, especially Jessie. We have a 15 year old Shih Tzu who shattered an elbow in her front leg. Our biggest concern was her quality of life, given her age. Dr. Horstman laid everything out for us in a professional and common sense way so we could make an informed decision. We decided to move forward with surgery. Dr. Horstman and his staff were incredibly responsive both during and after surgery and the three month healing process. They made a very difficult situation so much better for my family. I'm happy to say that Stella is doing great. Giving my family this extra time with Stella has been a true blessing.

My dog had surgery there almost three years ago. Has to have it done on his opposite leg now. First thing they messed up was ask us to fill out new patient paperwork. As I mentioned above he has had surgery there before. Next thing was my wife called up and said she might be running late. They did not tell her that they moved across town since the last time we're there. The last straw is that they kept arguing with my wife telling her how it had just been a year since the last surgery and kept getting the leg that needed surgery wrong. I don't want to, but I will drive to Lincoln or Kansas City to get his surgery.

Great care. This review will likely be changing. Waiting to see how you handle the situation with the dog you nearly killed on Monday(10-4)

I had used Sirius for my dog's surgeries, and they were 100% awesome!!. But, recently, they had a pup that had issues, and Sirius admitted they messed up on a procedure, and the pup is still not 100%! Then they insisted 100% payment on a procedure not competed!! Shame on you, Sirius!! I will never use you again!!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Explained everything. The Dr was very nice and it helped to know he is a great dane owner to.

We went through 2 back-to-back TPLO surgeries and Dr. Dirsko von Pfeil & all of the staff at Sirius Veterinary Orthopedic Center did such a great job we would recommend them to anyone! They patiently answered my many questions leading into the surgery and we greatly appreciated all of the surgery day and night updates via calls, texts and photos to always know how things were going. We drove from the Des Moines area based on a recommendation from our local vet and the drives were worth it to see our corgi able to run and play again.

Sirius Veterinary center was excellent customer service experience, very detail oriented made us feel at ease, reassuring, they truly care about our family pet needs, a little pricey. $4600. But only the best of the best for our Siberian huskies. Serra, Sky.

They had done TPLO on our Rottweiler and the incision kept draining and called and they kept saying that was normal. Monday morning we went to check on her and she had hemorrhage with a abnormal flow of blood from surgery. End up taking her to the emergency room for animals and they opened her up and done the surgery again and saved her life. With no thanks to Sirius. Won't go back...... Paid for surgery that wasn't done correctly.

Took my husky mix here after tearing her CCL (ACL). The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, they did a great job on the procedure, and were available to help with questions I had in the days after (of which there were a few). I'd definitely recommend them.

Excellent care . Only forgot to show me how to put her head color on to keep sissy from chewing her dressing. All staff were knowledgeable and kind.

I was very impressed with how much time the doctor spent talking to us about the care of our dog. He was very down to earth and explained everything in a honest way. I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Sirius. Everyone was extremely helpful. Dr. Tan is fantastic. He cares deeply about his patients and listened to all of our concerns.

My 2 year old goldendoodle dislocated his hip over a weekend and it was determined he had hip dysplasia by the urgent care we went to. We kept him stable until Sirius opened on Monday morning and they were immediately helpful. They got Winston in for surgery the following day and were kind, informative, and transparent. Due to COVID-19 I wasn't able to come in with Winston but they sent me frequent text updates and always answered my calls and questions. I had no doubt he was in good hands. It will be a bit of a recovery but I am confident Winston will be good as new because of Sirius Vet!

My dog had two TPLO surgeries here and both were completely successful. The staff were great every time we came in! While we hope we never have to, we would definitely choose Sirius again.

Our 7 year old lab had to have surgery on his Achilles’ Tendon. Everyone here has been wonderful! The front staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. The nurses will text you before and anytime after surgery! Dr. Horstman personally calls you once the surgery is finished. I am so anxious to take my fur baby anywhere and they will put your mind at ease! Can’t thank them enough and highly recommend!

The doctors and staff are phenomenal. Very patient and caring when it came to any questions we had. They were able to repair a pretty bad elbow fracture in our pup. Their customer service from the first moment we called until the final follow up was outstanding. If your animal needs orthopedic care, don't hesitate to head over to Sirius!

Smart people doing great work

My micro bully had a hip out of place and they took very good care putting it in place they did an amazing job on explaining the physical therapy she was to have at home and while she was with them they sent me updates with pictures. All of the tech and doctors are amazing and the prices were reasonable.

Sirius Vet was absolutely amazing when working with my first little puppy who is a Pomeranian. They took amazing care of her and ended up putting in a small plate in her front leg due to her falling off our bed. The detailed instructions were extremely useful and she is completely healed. I cannot thank them and recommend Sirius Vet enough.

The Vet took plenty of time to answer all of my questions and I didn't feel rushed. He was very thorough with his information and gave me 3 options to choose from.

Five Elements is a veterinarian clinic that offers chiropractic care laser therapy herbal therapy all types of alternative healing which they combine with modern veterinarian practices Jennifer the vet I see there is a very caring person and does a wonderful job . Her staff are just great . I was taking my dog there my sweet pug because she had lost an eye recently because another dog wanted her bone. I went to see if there's anything she could do to help my dog adjust to her handicap. she got a chiropractic treatment which has helped her. She also helped.me to except what happened better and gave me good advice to keep it from happening again. I recommend them highly.

This place was recommended. We thought the vet we were at set up our appointment with Sirius but found out they didn't. I left Sirius a message that we were coming in early Monday morning but they called me and said we made no appointment, they don't take walk-ins and were too busy to see the stray kitten we found, he has a very bad broken arm. They did recommended the VCA, we went there and the 4 week old kitten will get his arm fixed. Very expensive surgery????Someone discarded this kitten like trash from their car and we wanted to get him the best help. We are thankful for the advice.

The operation on our dog seems to have done what they said it would do. They were polite. The facility seems adept at funneling cash to it's owners via a wide array of offerings.
