the owner of this clinic is not professional, is very unreliable, and only cares about themselfs!!! My bird almost died because the owner who is the vet i was supposed to see bailed on the appointment!!!! An emergency appointment!!! Never take your animals here if you love them.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS AT ALL I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WHERE MY PET ALMOST DIED!!!!!! I had an appointment at 430 and told them i would be there at 440 and he cancelled my appointment. My EMERGENCY VET APPOINTMENT for my sick parrot.

HORRIBLE OWNER. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... I set an emergency appointment for my African Gray parrot at 4:30 PM today. I called multiple times hours ahead to verify my appointment. 430 rolls around and I am still 10 minutes away from the vet I call them to let them know that I will be 10 minutes late and the lady informs me that the vet has left and to tell me that I need to reschedule because I'm late. This is extremely frustrating since I told them how bad she is feeling and that she could not make it. But the vet couldn't wait 10 minutes to see me. I was also informed that the vet I was seeing is the OWNER of the clinic. If you think your animal may be dying and it needs to see them right away best care animal hospital on L street is NOT the place to go.

100/10!! My guinea pig was extremely ill and after calling varies places, Best Care was the only one able to get him in on such short notice. The staff and doctor were all extremely sweet and welcoming. After seeing what bad shape he was in, they immediately let us know that he needed to get some x-rays done and did everything accordingly and as quickly as they could. They did their best with keeping us updated and helping my baby out. Unfortunately he was unable to make it through and they gave us the heartbreaking news, explaining the options that came after. They were all extremely understanding and caring of the situation. A few days later we received a card expressing their condolences. It is very clear that the staff cares about their patients and not just the money. I would definitely recommend Best Care Pet Hospital. They understand that our pets are a big part of our family. They helped make these hard times a little easier.

Caring and knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. Quality health care for my fur babies that I’m able to afford.

I can only vouch for the Omaha Best Care Animal Hospital at 30th and L st. Since around 2015 I've had them care for 3 pit bull/ pit bull mixes and received the best possible care and treatment. The vets are top notch and the staff are friendly and very caring. My dogs actually loved going to the doctor. 5 of 5 stars in my book.

Expensive, but probably the best veterinarian experience I've ever had. They seem to genuinely care and the receptionists are knowledgeable about simple questions.

Literally a life saver for my dog. They took him right away didn't ask or talk about money one time besides when explaining the cost right before my dog went into surgery, unlike other places who was only worried about money could care less about my dog. I won't take my animals anywhere else from now on.

My Chihuahua got very very sick earlier this year. He developed diabetes and pancreatitis. The doctors (Dr. Howard and Dr. B.) Worked tirelessly to help him. I still don't know what they did, but miraculously my fella got better. It took a couple of weeks, and figuring his insulin amount, but now my little guy is like a new dog. I highly recommend Best Pet Care to ANYONE!!!!!

I inherited a dog that had not been taken care of very well. I don't know how long he'd been outside while his owner was in jail before I got the call to go get him. He was covered in fleas, ticks and had a size of a golf ball or a little bigger wound on his lower back that had maggots living in holes inside the wound. When you brushed through his hair on his back it was also covered with maggots. They ended having to shave him clean n dig out the maggots. While grooming him they also found them in between his toes. We all felt so sorry for him but he is almost fully recovered and living a much happier new life than what he was living and he couldn't of done it without this vets office

Thank you, Dr. Applebee, you are so compassionate, knowable and caring. My one and only visit to this clinic was with Thea my very sick rescue cat. After x-rays were taken Dr. Applebee, took the time to explain, in detail the serious health problem; by showing me what a healthy cat's lungs look like versus Thea's. The outcome was very sad, Doc and the staff made Thea comfortable, and very sympathetic for me. If, I ever have another rescue cat, Best Care will be the only clinic we will go to.

The tech and doctors were caring, respectful and supportive. We have used the pet hospital before with good outcome. This time we went in knowing we had to put down a loved one. We were reassured we were doing the right thing for our beloved Molly and never felt judged or looked down upon for not being able to spend thousands that's not work anyway. Thank you pet hospital. I've been taking my two cats and dog here for a few years, and my most recent experience has made me not want to come back. I have a nervous cat prone to UTIs, and I have tried urinary food with him before without much luck. I dropped him off in the morning to be seen between appointments, and with color-changing litter, I knew he had a UTI. He had blood work done during our last appointment with no significant results, but they still convinced me to do another blood test, which added to costs. I was then pressured to buy Royal Canin urinary food, making me feel like I was a bad pet owner if I did not. The bill was painful. And after a few weeks on this food, my cat is vomiting it up every day. Online reviews for the Royal Canin food have confirmed that this has been an issue for many pet owners for the last half year. I'm very disappointed in my experience.

The vet and vet assistant were very polite great people great with my dog and lots of information which is always helpful.

One the best Pet Hospital in omaha! The staff are amazing and kind. The veterinarians are exstremly knowledgeable and take much pride in their work. Their prices are great and beyond fair! Thank you Best Care staff for taking care of my pets and making us feel like family! Truly are the Best!!!

Dr Jody was great. My cat wasn't feeling well. Even though they were busy, they got my cat in quickly.

I love this place. Everyone is super friendly!! They always take good care of my cat willy!!
