We have a 5 year old Rottweiler that was diagnosed with lymphoma in October. We decided to try Chemo for him. We went through 3 Chemo Treatments, with the unfiltered advise of Dr. Kaliff. She has been the most attentive Vet and caring person we have dealt with in our puppy adventures. She truly cares about our doggies and honestly about their caretakers. She asks about human well being as well as our furry children. She follows up after every visit with open and caring honesty. If human DRs were this caring and attentive the world would be a better place. Thank you again DR. Kaliff. 10/10 Would recommend to anybody.

We adopted two kittens from the Humane Society 7 years ago and began their health care visits at Animal Clinic Suburban. Our cats are now senior kitties (hard to believe) and they are happy and healthy. If they become ill, we wouldn't think of taking them anywhere but to Dr. Melody Kailiff, who has cared for them all of their little lives at Animal Clinic Suburban.

Dr. Kaliff is FABULOUS and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I'd been told by a couple of other vets that my oldest cat was at death's door. After our 1st visit Dr. Kaliff called my girl's blood work "alarming" but after tweaking and monitoring for the past 8-9 months my 16 1/2 year old girl's blood work is coming back "perfect". Dr. Kaliff also found tooth problems in my other 3 cats that had not been noticed for years in other places...after clearing up those mouth problem the other cats are SO much happier! And my dog? Dr. Kaliff helped to isolate certain issues regarding my rescue dog's sensitive skin AND told me about my dog's susceptibility for a condition that two or three prior adoptive homes had treated as a behavior problem rather than keeping an eye out for what the problem actually is. I get the kind of in-depth health analysis for my pets that I want for myself. DISCLAIMER-she is married to a cousin of mine BUT that actually had me NOT go to her for years because ... knowing what I know now ... I'm an idiot! I can't speak for the other vets there, but I repeat: Dr. Kaliff is FABULOUS!!!

My current rescue chihuahua is a medical miracle thanks to the fine Doctors and staff. As cliche as this sounds, they feel like family. Joni, the receptionist, always makes sure dog gets in immediately if something is wrong. And she is so comforting when I'm worried. Whitney and Carrie are absolute treasures. The Staff always remembers us. The doctors are excellent both in care and communication. They don't give up until the find the solution. I've been taking my dogs to Animal Clinic Suburban so long we're on our third veterinarian because two retired. I have been particularly impressed by their COVID-19 precautions and their rapid response to the pandemic. In fact, they were way ahead of the rest of the city.

Dr. Khaliff, Dr. Nelson, and the Animal Clinic Suburban team are great every time! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This is a great place. The staff is wonderful, doctors, techs, reception...they are all great. We have been going here for years. They provide great care for our animals.

I've taken all my dogs, cats, and rescues to Animal Clinic Suburban for 25+ years and never, ever had a complaint about the standard of care nor the way my animals were treated - and I've taken in some pretty sick and injured animals! There is a lot to be said for continuity of care for your pets. Just like having your personal MD, vets get to know you and your animals well if you take them in for wellness visits. When I've had critical emergencies they are able to pull up the records quickly so they don't have to do unnecessary test and they have a baseline for the animal's health. Most importantly, my animals know the staff and feel safe with them. When some of my fur babes have had to cross The Bridge, each time they did not feel extra stressed. They feel like this is their safe place away from home where they are petted, cuddled, show off tricks, and know the people will make them feel better.

Dr. Kaliff is AMAZING! She is hands down the smartest vet I have ever taken my animals to in my 50+ years of being an owner of numerous pets, while living in several states. I met her many years ago when other vets in the area had given up on my seriously ill cat. Dr. Kaliff laid all of my kitty's many previous medical records out on the exam table and formed a timeline of events, explaining what she felt had been done wrong at various steps along the way. I was stunned at how quickly she came up with a plan of action. Dr. Kaliff gave our family another full, healthy and happy year with our beloved cat. The vets and staff at Animal Clinic Suburban are extremely thorough and very caring. They treat their customers and fur patients like family, which helps when you are stressed and worried. I obviously can't say enough...I HIGHLY recommend Animal Clinic Suburban...

This clinic got me in at the last minute just before they closed to look at my cat who had a possible broken leg. My own veterinary clinic that I have been going to for 20 years would not work me in or even give me an appointment the next day until 5:00 in the afternoon. Dr Kaliff, and the entire staff were kind and knowledgeable. I will be switching to this clinic.

When we moved here 16 years ago, we chose Dr. Robin Nelson as our vet. Recently, Charlie was treated at the clinic. There is nothing that you could do to make the experience better. Charlie was so sick and I felt like everyone in the clinic was grieving with us. It really appeared that we were going to have to say goodbye to him. Then, when the antibiotics worked and the mass was no longer found, I felt that the clinic was celebrating with us as well. There is no way to make that better!!
