Dr. Brown is an amazing vet here who you can tell truly cares about his patients. He is very patient with my gentle giant who does not enjoy the vet. This vet also offered special treatments that other places would not do. I would highly recommend this office to any pet owner!

Excellent Vet's. You can tell that they care about your animals and they explain everything in great detail. I always learn something when I go there. And wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended five stars. The whole staff is great.

Great Vet... Dr. Curney & his staff, Very friendly & Very helpful, especially after my original vet misdiagnosed my dog with cancer, when she was actually in kidney failure...no blood test was done & she was put on prednisone, which made her real situation worse!! Thank you SO MUCH for doing a Wonderful job!! I highly recommend this vet, Dr Curney went above & beyond his duties!!

I'm not sure how to express how much my family and I appreciate Yankee Hill Veterinary Hospital and the team's incredible kindness that they showed at every visit. Between moving to Lincoln and the pandemic, it had been a little over two years since we had our two cats' regular check in and rabies shot. Our older cat had started drooling which, in the past meant that she had a rotten tooth - we were told by past vets that she would be predisposed to dental issues. I called Yankee Hill because they specialized in this and I thought this might be the issue. Our first visit was with Dr. Jones and the tech immediately noticed that my cats were anxious. (Side note - they have two entrances, one for cats and ones for dogs - genius and so helpful for my scaredy-cats). She offered to spray pheromones on the towel I had brought for our very nervous boy, which immediately calmed them down. I was incredibly touched by this kindness and sensitivity. Dr. Jones went through their appointments and paid close attention to our old girl's teeth, which I had noted on the intake. She moved her hands under our girl's jaw. "Ah. There's a lump." She carefully explained that it could be a rotten tooth and the infection could have inflamed the bone (as best I can recall). Or it could be cancer. We opted to remove the tooth and to have a biopsy done. They did a fantastic job - she was comfortable and eating well shortly after she was returned to us. A week after the procedure, Dr. Jones called me the afternoon on a Friday to gently let me know that the results showed she did have an aggressive form of cancer. With treatment, we could expect six months. Without? A few months. She explained that Yankee Hill could prescribe appetite stimulants and pain killers as the disease progressed. In our talk she also explained how euthanasia worked and what to expect when it was time. Her condition was actually very stable until about the last two weeks. Each time I called Yankee Hill, first for the appetite stimulants, then for the pain pills, they were extremely kind and sympathetic - I always felt like I was holding it together until they offered their hearts and condolences, which would just break me open. The last time I called I asked if they do euthanasia on Saturdays, when we could get a sitter and my spouse and I could both be there. We weren't sure if it would be that weekend though and I didn't want to take an appointment slot during a busy day for them. But they must have known that even asking the question meant that it was time. When I called the next day to set up a time, the tech told me she already saw an appointment set up for us for that Saturday. August was our first pet and absolutely beloved. They had us go through a side door and into a nice, comfortable office. The kind tech explained what would happen and we were given multiple opportunities to pause and say goodbye. When we were ready, Dr. Cerney came in. My spouse held our old girl and he explained again what to expect. It only took half a minute after the drugs were administered before he listened for a heartbeat, confirming she was out of her uncomfortable body. We were given as long as we needed to stay with her. We elected to have her cremated and today I picked up a plaster (like a salt ornament) with her name and paw prints, which felt like needed closure. Yankee Hill showed incredible kindness and wonderful care in every single way. They are actual angels with hearts of gold. I will forever be so thankful to everyone at this center.

Dr Cerny is the best vet in town! He is so smart and knows so much about lesser known issues. He joins acupuncture and chiropractic care with modern medicine, and truly has the pet’s best interest in mind. He encourages you to seek information and bring it back to him, and he explains every detail and answers every question. The whole staff is friendly and eager to help - no matter how many times you call.

I am very pleased with the service I receive from Dr. Cherny. He is always willing to explain what is happening to my dogs thoroughly. He gives me practical advice and explains why some things need to be done and others can be put off. Costs are always a concern for us, but we have to weigh how important Maya, Eleanor, and now Hillary are to us.

My wife and I have been going there for the past 16 years. The support staff, vet techs and the vets are awesome. They are dedicated, professional and overall great people.

The staff know us and our dogs by name, as we’ve been with them for 12 years. The doctors are amazing, the techs care for our pets just like we do, and the team always works together cohesively to determine the best course of action. Absolutely nowhere else I would take my pets.

We just switched to this vet- by far the best we have been to. Everyone is accommodating and so genuinely compassionate. I had a question on a Friday afternoon, and they talked with me for fifteen minutes to understand my concerns and determine if we needed to come in. You will be treated with individual care and attention here over others in town.

They have been the only vet to truly speak up for our dog's health and say a change is needed in her medications and weight. Their recommendations are giving our dog a better life. We also couldn't be happier with how well her knee healed from surgery.

Very caring and patient staff. We've got an anxious cat that turns wild at the vet and they go above and beyond in treating him. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Everyone at Yankee Hill is just great with helping us manage the needs of our puppy and senior dog. A huge thank you to Dr Cerny. I’m not sure what we’d do without him.

I have been coming to Yankee Hill for many years. They have been there for the birth of a litter of puppies to the sad time of letting a beloved old pet go. I can depend on them all for the best of care for my pets in both the best of times and the hardest times. I always want to go where I feel like my dogs and I are family, and this Clinic makes us feel like we really matter.
