Pet Central Station Lincoln, Nebraska

My wife went in this past Saturday evening to have our pointers nails trimmed. The gal told the wife that due to the weather she was understaffed. My wife told her she couldn't come back until late Wednesday. She said that should be fine and she would only charge us half price due to the inconvenience. We just went in there today (Wednesday the 19th) at 6:15 and one girl was behind the counter while one was running a vacuum. As soon as we asked to have the dog nails trimmed the gal running the vacuum said she goes on break at 6:00 until 7:00 and the other gal leaves when she gets off break. WHY DOES AN EMPLOYEE GO ON AN HOUR BREAK THAT LATE WHEN THE STORE CLOSES AT 8:00 ?? Then I preceded to tell her the gal on Saturday said they would do it today and only charge us $7.00 because of the inconvenience. She again stood there and said "Well I am on break right now" We did not need this nor to take our dog outside in the cold air twice now for this type of business ethic. I went to the website and looked around the window and there is no set time for this service mentioned anywhere. People my wife talked to said there were no appointments needed. I am calling and making formal complaint with management if not the owner. This was ridiculous especially saying they couldn't because taking an hour break that close to closing time. I will recommend going down the road to Bailey's to all my pet owning friends and family after this experience !!

We love Pet Central Station. Our most recent visit was to pick up dog cake mix and dog ice cream mix and a couple of new toys for our Malamute's birthday!

Becoming a bit pricey for people on fixed income. Dog has been itching ever since.

I need to stop in one day and actually look at the cat supplies, however the time I was there I was looking for pet supplies outside of the main two species. My biggest gripe is with the name haha! I'll be back and I'll adjust my rating as needed in relation to my experience as a Cat OWner next time

Breya groomed my mini schnauzer and was awesome with him! He came home looking fantastic. Great job and happy to have a great grooming option again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. We got our dogs nails cut for $15 and my husband and I got to give her a bath at their self bathing station. It was about $20 for a deshedding shampoo and conditioner, plus there was a furmator brush to help with the shedding. After that she got freeze dried treats that's all natural

Did a spot on beauty treatment for Samantha hair and nails.

Brought my mini Australian Shepherd in for a bath, trim and nails. Picked her up almost completely shaved, and uneven cut lines and nonexistent blending along her chest and rear. Here nails so sharp from trimming they caused my legs to bleed when she crawled into my lap. Not to mention absolutely outrageous price for a 25 pound dog. Would not recommend to anyone, just hoping her beautiful coat can recover from this.

Amazing experience! We went for the first time today to use the self wash station. My dog is terrified of baths and the worker helped me to get her calm and we had her first successful bath since we adopted her! We will be coming back! Thank you!!

We took our goldendoodle here to get groomed bc our normal groomer had to have surgery. I told the woman just a little bit more than 50% of his hair to be cut. We picked him up and he was basically shaved. I even stated “what did y’all do to my dog? He has no hair”! My husband and I were super disappointed and upset. I wouldn’t recommend the groomer here.

Always a great experience here. Staff is always friendly. And they have a great freeze dried selection for treats that was near impossible to find before they came to town!

They have good hours and friendly service. Only supplier of Pillbuddy Naturals, a healthy treat to hide your dog's medication in, which has been so helpful for us to keep our older pet happy and looking forward to her meds!

Hands down the best place for pet products in town! The owner is so nice and all the staff is delightful and very knowledgeable. We always buy the "No Hide" bones for our dog and they are are a wonderful alternative to raw hide. Highly recommend Pet Central Station!!

Very pushy in selling raw food. I felt like they were in my face from the moment I walked in the door. They recommended things that my vet said to stay away from.

The owner, Cliff, and his staff are wonderful, very helpful and professional. I worked with Violet, Hannah, and Donnis. I love that they are a locally owned business.

I almost feel bad for posting this, because there are so many positive posts about this place. But, a few weeks ago, my husband and I went into the store and was immediately greeted by the nice young lady at the register. She helped us out, answered all our questions, and did an excellent job helping us select a new dog food. As we wandered around the store, we heard the manager raising her voice to the employee about not helping people out. She was really short with another customer in the store too. I love the selection of dog food, but the way some of the employees are treated makes me cringe, and I only feel it is fair to give this type of review, since that employee had done such a great job helping us out.

Had issues with our previous groomer, this place was a breath of fresh air. Everyone was so friendly and gave us no issue when we brought in our pup for a nailtrim. Store was very clean, staff were clearly animal lovers. Will definitely be going back
