Dr Ehlers and the staff are top notch. I would not take my animals to any other vet. I have 6 dogs and she has treated them with great compassion. Dr. Ehlers has been our animal Dr. Since 2014. Dr. Ehlers did surgery on our Charlie brown after he swallowed piece of rubber ball. Highly Recommend parkview animal hospital.

I had to put my cat down...and the week or so leading up to it I was out of town and my husband had to handle everything. They were so patient and worked with me despite it. When the time came the doctor that had been working with my cat was suppose to be off that day. I don't know if they called her and told her I was there or if she had picked up a shift but it meant a lot that she was there. You want a good vet clinic/hospital. I strongly recommend them. I've started taking my other pets there and it's been worth it.

We were traveling through Nebraska when our pup developed an eye infection. Park view was able to take us as walk in, saw us in a reasonable time, were caring and professional. And best of all prescribed eye drops that took care of the infection! I highly recommend Parkview!

Dr. Ehlers is the best vet in Lincoln. She has worked methodically and tirelessly to ensure our two dogs have the happiest and healthiest existence. I have been in several clinics in Lincoln and choose to drive 30 miles one way every time we need to take the dogs in. Lots of clinics are closer, but none with kinder, caring staff. Parkview Animal Hospital meets the very high standards we expect for our “kids”.

I took my cat in today to get checked out and the vet tech and doctor were so nice and gentle with my cat, they checked her vitals and found the problem and prescribed meds, they were very caring and I appreciated that very much because I was very worried about her, thank you so much for the excellent care you have shown to us today, I appreciate it very much:)

I would highly recommend taking your pets to Parkview Animal Hospital. The care, compassion, and knowledge that everyone showed for our golden-doodle will definitely keep us coming back! Dr Rief walked us through all of our options with professionalism and grace.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. It did not seem like this vet really likes animals, and is really only in this profession as a way to make money. He acted shocked and surprised that our animal was nervous about being at the vet, and made a big production about how inconvenient it is for him that he has to work with such a nervous animal. I would not bring your animal here to be cared for. We will be paying for another office visit elsewhere to get a second opinion on everything. Really wish I would have read the recent reviews of this place before entrusting this person with our animal.

Absolutely the worst service i’ve EVER been given at a clinic. I took my recently rescued cat here because it was close to the house and he hates car rides. so to make him more comfortable i took him a short distance. I walk in and the front desk staff were very unfriendly and acted as if i was annoying them when all he needed was an exam. The Vet was very aggressive when handling my cat and didn’t say more than one word to me while i was there, he also gave my cat a vaccination that he did not need because i took him to a well known vet clinic and the vet had no idea what the vaccination was that they gave her in the information transferred from Parkview and told me there was no such thing as that vaccination. I was not pleased with my visit AT ALL, and do not recommend anyone. I paid more than i should’ve and my cat was given whatever he was given. Not okay.

On a Saturday, when help is limited, I chose to bring my 10 week old lab puppy in to this hospital as she had vomited so many times and was refusing to eat. She had lost a lot of body weight through diarrhea (Hello, parvo?!). An older man was the vet that Saturday and I am not sure if he didn't want to work on a weekend or did not care about animals but he did not investigate the sickness what so ever. He chalked it up to her swallowing something that was blocking her system. Did not feel she needed bloodwork or X-rays or anything. Basically gave us nothing to go on. We brought her back the following Monday because she had only gotten worse. He still did not think it was appropriate to run further tests. We decided to take her to another vet that day and they said he almost killed our puppy by not treating her with fluids and antibiotics. In hindsight, we should have followed our gut feeling and got a second opinion right away. I can only speak on my experience with this one vet but he did not care one bit!

We adopted Whisper, an American Bulldog, and took her in for her rabies vaccine and check up as the office is close to our home and being a walk in clinic, it was convenient. He was very forceful with her, and they requested she be in a muzzle if she's brought in again. We agreed and since we had only had her for 2 days we were still getting know know how she reacts in situation's. She then had a diarrhea problem a few weeks later, we brought her in with a muzzle and she was very scared. When she was put on the table he was again very rude to me and very forceful with her. She got her muzzle off and didn't nip or snap at anyone, but her breathing sounds like a growl when she is panicked, he proceeded to use the handle on her harness to push her forcefully on to the table a few times before shoving her off the table and telling us to find another vet and that she was a violent dog and I should be ashamed. We left with no idea what might be wrong and her shaking in fear. We have since taken her to Ehlers Animal Clinic and have not had any problems with any aggressive behavior from her. Avoid this place if you want quality care and someone who cares about your pet.

We took a friends dog in because he was very ill. When we arrived, the vet was not polite at all, he didn't even really speak to us or the dog who was coughing and wheezing horribly. He examined the dog for several minutes, then looked at the dogs tags to verify his shots, when he did, he said "this is interesting" and left the room taking the collar and tags with him. He returned 10 minutes later and stated the owner of the dog had an outstanding bill that had been sent to collections. He then stated he would not treat the dog. We asked how much the outstanding bill was, and he advised us it was $150. We told him we were more than willing to pay it right then, along with whatever costs were incurred during the current visit, but that the dog needed to be treated because he was very ill. He very rudely refused to treat the dog, and told us that he would never treat the dog again. I understand there was an outstanding bill, but we had no way of knowing as it is not our dog, and we offered to pay it if he would just please treat the dog. He then kicked us out of his clinic. We ended up taking the dog to another emergency clinic, where we were told he had a very severe respiratory infection, was given antibiotics and another medication to remove the fluid from his lungs. This man was very rude, unprofessional, and willing to let a very sick dog leave his clinic untreated, all over $150, even though we offered to pay for it. Do not use this vet, he cares nothing about animals.

Parkview is super convenient. Love that they don't have appointments. And I've never had to wait that long. Helped my kitties through a rough time. Clean and open facilities. The vets are super nice and know their stuff!

My wife called two weeks in advance to make sure there was no cost because we both work during the day to keep the animal there and the lady told her on the phone there would be no charge however when my wife went to pick the animal up she was told she would have to pay a $20 day charge after she explained to the people there that she was told there would be no charge they lowered it to $8 which she had to borrow from her job in order to get the animal back if you say one thing and do another you ain't going to get very high ratings very displeased with their attitude as far as the front desk goes. the vet himself was a half hour late however was very pleasant so that is why I'm giving it three stars we will look elsewhere the next time we take our animal somewhere to be taken care of so we're not treated like what comes out the animals rear end.

Dr. Ehlers was fantastic with my cat, George. I actually came here for a second opinion after visiting another vet clinic in town. Dr. Ehlers took the time to explain fully my cat's condition and even had me feel what she was talking about. She did NOT try to sell me other items or services I didn't need, and that is something I really appreciate. Thorough exam and very knowledgeable. "Down-home" facility feel, not your new-age business-like vet, which I very much appreciate.

Some of the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. One of the doctors is very rough with the animals. He has terrible bedside manner and calls all of the animals "she" even if you correct him. This was particularly problematic while he put down our *male* dog of 17 years. The other doc is a bit careless. We lost a pet due to her negligence. They are reasonably priced but the service is subpar.
