Loved here and was my favorite vet I've ever had until last few months but they either hired new vets or we got unlucky and kept getting a different one. Both animals have same issues but instead of testing the one in already had to bring in the other for 70$ again for a 2min exam. He then did a test costing 200$ that wont have results for 2 weeks. Neuter cost also went up 30$ for pills they didnt give previously so yea...

I have been coming to Heartland Pet Hosp. for more than 30 years. I have always felt I can trust the vets and techs to provide the best care they can for my pets. I always refer anyone I speak with about pet care to Heartland Pet Hosp. .

The staff is all friendly and caring. Doctor VandenHull was there for me last year during my cat's end of life and she was absolutely incredible. I brought my new animal in to see her and she was just as compassionate, professional, and soothing as she was in the past. I love this establishment and I will never go anywhere else.

Dr Kate and all the staff were very good with my two cats and with me. I was nervous about having my cats vaccinated and they were patient and understanding and didn't try to sell me additional services Dr Kate actually told me my cats didn't need a lot of vaccines or test since they are indoor only cats. She also told me if I wanted to come back in a couple of weeks for blood test they wouldn't charge an additional office visit fee, I thought that was very nice. I am extremely protective of my cats and am very happy I met Dr. Kate, now I know there is a caring vet near me for all my cats needs. Thank you Heartland Animal Hospital. Lesa N

After my primary vet couldn't get my dog in for 10 days after being diagnosed with lymphoma, they got me in the next day and were very compassionate and helped me with the next step for my dog. 100% will recommend them. They didn't get mad when my dog would rather sit in the chair rather than the floor. Thank you such for helping me through this difficult time.

I just love Heartland Animal Hospital. We have been going there for years and the whole staff is wonderful. Dr Andrew and Dr Susan have always gone above and beyond when 1 of our pets have required difficult care. I would not go anywhere else.

The whole veterinary system is a big, opportunistic, money grabbing sham. Heartland is a cog in that system. Greedy upcharges for every conceivable thing. Go in for a vaccination, shot takes 10 minutes, you pay well over $100 for the vaccines themselves and then get charged $60 more just for the "consultation". I didn't need a consultation. I went there and told you exactly what shots to give my dog, then I paid for them. And there's an additional $60 for, what? The doc makes $60 for 5 or 10 minutes additional to the other fees? So he makes over $350 an hour? Tired of paying through my nose. Won't be back.

I have RA causing difficulty in both hands. This makes it very difficult at times to accomplish certain task, like squeezing things from a tube. The staff offered to apply flea med for my Toy Poodle monthly. That is so wonderful, thank you so much.????

The entire staff is awesome but whether I’m taking my dog in for his yearly check up or just stopping to pick up his meds. I always feel very welcomed and relaxed when discussing my dog.

Every time we take our dog, we our treated with warm professionalism from the moment we walk in the door. It is nice to be treated with respect, compassion and not just a number. Not only are we treated well in the office but also we on the phone for appointments and follow ups.

The employees were so kind and helpful. The Veterinarian was knowledgeable, thorough, great at explaining things to me, and such a sweetheart! I’ll take my other pets there from now on.

Dr. Katie is great! Never had any animal love going to the vet until we started coming here. They are great with our two 50ish lb dogs, and couldn't recommend them enough.

My cat and I were in the area visiting my parents when I had a medical emergency for my kitty. I called last minute to see if I could get an appointment and was scheduled immediately. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. My cat was even more relaxed seeing the vet staff at this hospital than her own back in Colorado. I am grateful for the care my cat received. She is already looking so much better.
