Missoula you have a great vet at eastgate. Dr.klietz is amazing! Very friendly staff. We had gotten a kitten in Quartzsite but the closet vet was cali n it was over a month before we could get n appt. Then the Corona hit. We are in Missoula waiting for our job in Yellowstone and saw Eastgate... Y'all are very lucky.

We love Dr Klietz and all of the staff at Eastgate Vet Clinic! He is so caring and attentive and really takes his time with each patient. I really appreciate that he often recommends trying simple over the counter remedies for basic problems before jumping straight to prescription drugs. Highly recommended.

Incredible staff, always accommodating with appointments and even same day “emergency” visits. Totally fair pricing and you can tell they want to take care of your animal, not just get them in the door. Not sure if we would ever change vets as long as Dr Klietz is running the place. I like the vet. He is calm and articulate which helps both me and my dog. Support staff isn't quite as proficient.

Doctor Mark Klietz and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I started going to Eastgate vet when I needed to take my guinea pigs in. He provided in depth descriptions on what was going on for them and explained treatment. He has great bed side manner! I will now take all of my animals to go see him and his staff from here on out. I just took my dog in for a wellness check as well as a guinea pig and despite the fact I was in a frantic mindset he was able to maintain composure and be quiet kind. I have never met a vet that I have felt so comfortable with going in to see. Thankyou so much Doctor Mark and staff!

First vet my cat didn't try to murder. So that is a good sign! They took great care of us.

I've been going to see Dr Klietz for years (over 5 now) and I've always had good experiences there. I've brought ferrets, rabbits, cats and dogs there and Klietz knows his stuff or we work together to see what the issue is. They're always on top of annual appointments and vaccinations that are needed with a few reminders. Love everyone there!

Dr. Kleitz is the kindest, most compassionate veterinarian! He has been treating all out pets for close to 25 years and I've always felt that he truly cares about the animals he sees.

I take my bunnies to see Dr. Klietz. I didn't read reviews before making my first appointment because it was kind of an emergency, but I lucked out. Dr. Klietz is very friendly and knowledge. I never feel rushed with him and you can see how much he loves animals. The staff is also so friendly whenever I call weather is to make an appointment or all advice. I would recommend anyone to Eastgate Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Mark Klietz is an incredible veterinarian. He has seen my senior dog twice for check ups and it's amazing how much information he can glean about my dog just from his observations. He was very gentle and soothing with my nervous pup. I was also very thankful for all the information he gave me. He was very thorough in his explanations and suggestions. I'd recommend this vet to anyone!

We have had the BEST experiences with Dr. Kleitz. He and his staff are all warm, kind, and genuine and have fabulous bedside manner with both furry patients and their human parents. I can't say enough good things about him. He is not like some vets who are quick to run every expensive test and push you to get every expensive procedure in the book, regardless of if it's really necessary. Of course, he is happy to run the test/do the procedure if required, but seems to favor an approach of careful watchfulness before jumping to conclusions. He fills prescriptions on-site, but always lets you know if there is a cheaper alternative for your pets' medications. Any time I call with a question or concern, he has been happy to provide advice over the phone free of charge. We recently added a new puppy to our home who unfortunately has had a rough life prior to us rescuing her and is consequently quite skittish around new people, especially men. Dr. Kleitz and his staff all took the time to calmly interact with our puppy, building her trust, before starting any kind of exam. We were his last appointment on a Friday night, but he took all the time she needed and never rushed through a single step. He and his staff all asked about our other dog while we were there too, remembering him by name and other specific details which impressed me because we've only been going to him for a couple of years and aren't in very often. I will absolutely never entrust the care of my animals to any other vet as long as Dr. Kleitz is practicing!
