Great place to take your pets Dr Joe is awesome

They were all great. I called on a Thursday night as my kitty wasn’t doing well Dr. Joe said to bring her in first thing Friday morning. Friday morning I went and saw Dr.Tarplee. He was great he said my kitty was sick and needed to stay for further work up. He called me later that day and gave me a full report on my cat. After a long day of paying special attention to my cat he told me she needed surgery and had discussed the case with Dr. Joe. He said the surgery would be done that evening and he would call when she was done. Dr.Tarplee called me around 8:30 Friday evening to give me report on my cat and called me again Saturday morning and Sunday with full reports on how my baby was doing. Monday afternoon I was able to pick her up. Dr.Tarplee took the time to take me back to an exam room and discuss my cats case with me and give me directions on her care for the following days. This cat is my baby and he did a great job keeping me informed and updated on my fur baby! This clinic is truly amazing!!

Top notch. I arrived on Friday afternoon...4:45pm as a new client, with an injured St. Bernard. They didnt hesitate to accept me as a new client, and stayed late to attend to and repair Herbies wound. The cost was very fair, and the staff is friendly, professional, and caring.

Excellent care for my dogs and cats. Amazing doctor there trust me I know. Been raising German shepherds all my life. A1 vet ???? check him out for yourself.

I want to thank Dr. Joe and Dr. Maddie, plus the entire staff, for the way they took care of my Charlie during her illness. This is an organization of dedicated professionals who truly care about their patients and owners. Losing a fur baby to an illness is absolutely devastating. Everyone was kind, compassionate, understanding and just all around great. Having to make the decision to put my girl to sleep was, and still is, heartbreaking. They all made this decision as comfortable as possible and gave me all the time needed to say goodbye. If you are new to the area, or just looking for a new clinic to care for your pet, you could not do better than Valley Pet Clinic.

We had an emergency with one of our fur babies and called Valley Pet to see if we could see Dr. Joe. They said we could get in that afternoon to see him, but we felt we needed to get in sooner so they said we could see Dr. Tarplee. I was hesitant but we really need to get in and Valley Pet came highly recommended so we took the appointment. Dr. Tarplee was amazing! He was very kind, compassionate and thorough. We saw him on a Friday and he said the Clinic would be available on Saturday if something came up or to call during the weekend because he was on call. He called us on Saturday as well to check up on our fur baby. He also called again mid-week to follow-up. I was so impressed. I would recommend Dr. Tarplee to anyone. He was fabulous! And to have a clinic that has a vet on call instead of sending their patients to Missoula on the weekends or after hours shows true commitment to their patients.

Dr. Joe took our pet in as an emergency the week we moved to town. He's the most compassionate vet I've ever known. Our pupper has had troublesome skin conditions for a while and Dr. Joe has always been patient in explaining everything he's doing.

The staff is incredibly rude everytime I try to make an appointment and go in. I love doctor Joe but will not being going back

vets in Missoula seem more interested in causing issues to get more money... back down to my old vet to try and fix those new issues

I’m a first time dog owner as of about 4 years ago when I obtained Nudles. She started seizures almost immediately. After a couple more illnesses we had to put Nudles down yesterday. I want to thank Dr. Joe and the staff for their professionalism and informative help over the years. Dr. Joe and the staff yesterday were very consoling. A very good place to take your pet.
