We took our 3 adopted cats that we got from Heart of the Valley to Black dog for their free health exam. We left paying $138 for ear mite treatments for all 3 cats!!!! Outrageous, especially when you can get the treatment online for a fraction of the cost. They never offered to tell me how much it would be, so I assumed maybe $50 for all 3 cats! Don't get me wrong, everyone was nice and thorough with the exam, but holy cow! Will never go back!

I liked how they treated my kitty with a lot of love and respect. I was surprised by how open he was during the visit. I liked how they explained what I should be expecting from his treatment and how reasonably priced the care was. Thank you so much! I loved the overall attitude and energy. I could tell that they were passoinate about what they do.

The team at Black Dog Vet Clinic is incredible. My dog had an accident, and they were able to fit him in the morning I called. My pet had a complete work-up, including x-rays under anesthesia w/ reversal the same visit. Allie Lawrence CVT kept me informed about his progress thru-out, including an estimate about the cost of the different procedures before I signed the consent (I wish my doctor's office would be so transparent). Dr. Lyon reviewed the results personally, and even showed me the actual radiographs. I was given written care instructions to reinforce what was discussed, and written information about the medications prescribed. All in all, a very professional and reassuring experience. In summary, I appreciated 1. The prompt appointment, 2. Allie Lawrence CVT keeping me informed during the entire visit, 3. Dr. Lyon's diagnostic acumen and treatment plan. Black Dog Vet has amazing staff who are extremely kind, and it was a breath of fresh air for my dog to be treated with nothing but love and humanity, as I've previously had other vets in different states that were rude and uncaring towards me and my dog. I highly recommend black dog vet to anyone, especially people with rescues, like my girl, Iah. The prices were also extremely reasonable, and it was nice to have no surprises there. The kindness of the staff is unmatched in comparison to other places I've been to.

We took our 14.5 year old lab here after an awful experience at another vet in town. All I can say is that is am so happy that we took her to Black Dog! Everyone was so caring and nice. The doctors, techs, and front desk people were awesome! They actually listened to my concerns. They put in the effort to clean and wipe down the seats and counters before I went into the room, they even offered me coffee! I could really tell they cared, felt just like family. They took really good care of our pup Summer, I really felt like she was in the best hands! I will forever recommend them to anyone who is looking for an awesome vet!

I started using this location when it was faithful friends, I was hesitant at first but have grown to love the new facility and people. They are always very helpful and kind to the animals.

All of the staff that I interacted with were really nice. My cat was not uncomfortable during the check up, and I was given helpful information that I hadn't known before.

The staff is very professional. The team has handled COVID well, having owners and pets wait outside. The vets have been terrific in handling all our puppy needs, vaccinations and spaying. They always follow up to ensure all is well and have reacted well to our needs. It's also great they offer nail trims! We appreciate the clear and concise communication.
