Absolutely horrific service. We lost our French Bulldog recently and I was Absolutely appalled by the blatant lack of empathy or care showed by the woman that met us at their location. We had called ahead and set up a 4pm time to drop off our boy, we arrived at 3:50 and then proceeded to wait for another 40 minutes, including 2 phone calls with no answer, until someone finally showed up. When the lady finally did show up she proceeded to make off handed jokes about how she had 2 dogs of her own except hers were still alive. My girlfriend legitimately ran out of the room sobbing and the lady proceeded to keep joking. Today I went and picked up my best buddies ashes, when they handed me the ashes and told me the price it was $60 more than they had told me over the phone and in person due to an "after hours charge" that should not have gone into effect until 5pm well after out arrangement had been made. When I called the lady out on this there was a visible stutter in her demeanor like a kid with their hand caught in the cookie jar. She then rushed back to her computer and came back with a price $90 dollars lower than the price she had just told me moments before. These people have absolutely made the experience of loosing a pet 10 times worse.

I am in complete shock (in a good way) about how they handled everything with my kitty, Odin. I had my cat for 21 years and am honestly lost without him, but 406 took so much care with him and went above and beyond what I ever expected. Odin's ashes came in a cute bag inside a beautiful box, but the real surprise came with the extras. I hadn't even thought to ask or have my mom ask about a pawprint or fur, but when I opened up the bag they sent, both were there. Losing a pet is a hard, awful experience, but 406 made it that much easier with their attention to detail and care. I can't express how much I appreciate these little touches.

if you’re looking at these reviews because you just lost a pet, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We lost our sweet cat, Biggie very suddenly in May and these guys made the process a little bit easier. They were so welcoming and kind both over the phone and in person. And the gift bag contained some of the most beautiful, personalized stuff for our kitty. It’s got to be such a tough job, but they sure are good at what they do.

It's difficult losing a forever friend. The immaculate attention that was provided from engraving her name and date of death on a beautiful wood heart to the beautiful, simple wood box and velvet bag she was in brought me joy and a sense of peace in the process of brining her back home. After losing Nyka, I longed for some of her hair and low and behold, I open up the bag and there it is! You truly thought of everything to help ease the pain from losing my forever friend and for that I am truly grateful! Thank you!

Mandi, a huge thanks for taking care of Catbutt today. I had him for 17 years. He was one unique critter that lived a great life. Appreciate your kindness and quick help with my furry friend on this very difficult day. Thanks for what you did. Sorry I was not able to say much, but I could tell you understood. -Trevor

These people are awesome! I live in Belt, my vet is in Great Falls. They pick the pet up, and return the ashes in a beautiful tin their paw print and lock of hair, and all within a werk. I've used them twice, number 3 is coming soon im afraid. But I will continue using these guys...even though the name has changed.

I’m sorry for the loss of your beloved companion. You’ve found the right place that makes saying goodbye a little easier. After 13 adventure filled years with my loyal dog Lucy, it was time to say goodbye. With a heavy heart, I called 406 Pet Crematory and I was greeted with kindness and compassion. They made the process simple for me explaining just two options for cremation. The price was surprisingly reasonable and I appreciated I only had to make one decision, during this time of mourning. We elected to do individual cremation so we could spread her ashes at her favorite place. After saying goodbye to a best friend, I arrived at 406 Pet Crematory and they were helpful, professional, and gave my beloved dog a dignified farewell. The compassion, care, professionalism and quiet efficiency made all the difference. I received a call the next morning that Lucy was ready to be picked up. The prompt turnaround time was helpful to bring a feeling of closure. When I arrived, I was surprised to hear the fee for their services was significantly less than I was quoted, since I had overestimated her weight. On the counter they had a free booklet to explain the loss of a pet to kids. I took one and appreciate having it as a resource for my son. I was handed a nice gift bag with “Lucy” stamped on the outside. Inside the bag my dog was placed in a simple, elegant wood box, wrapped in a luxurious velvet bag. I appreciated the care and attention to every detail. I asked for individual cremation, but I also was sent home with wildflower seeds to plant in her memory, a framed paw print, and a lock of hair. I don’t often write a review, but exceptional service deserves to be recognized. Thank you!

They did an amazing job handling the death of our handsome boy. His ashes were given back to us in a gorgeous canister as well as his paw print. Their calming and understanding demeanor made the grief a little easier to overcome.

Losing a pet is so hard. Scott came to my home and picked up our beloved cats remains and returned a few hours later with his ashes. He made the process so much easier for us during this difficult time. It is sad to think about anyone …
