Love this place the horses are so beautiful

I take lessons at Kraus and they have such amazing staff and instructors. They care for the horses and keep everyone safe around the horses but everyone is still able to have fun! I have been taking lessons here for 2 years and I plan to keep riding at Kraus. I highly recommend taking a trail or having a birthday party here as well!

Awesome place! My mom and I came for a trail ride and our guide was Sarah! She was great, super knowledgeable and fun! Horses were kind and gentle and trail terrain was fun - nothing over the top but not flat and boring!

I really enjoyed the trail ride this morning! Sara and Olivia were our guides. They were so patient and kind. The horses were awesome and clearly loved. I cannot wait to go back..the ride was over too quick!

Had a great time hauling our horse in and renting one of their horses for my son! Had a great time, thanks Krause Farms!

I am going to board my first horse there because they are cheaper than most barns and give you lots of freedom. This place is very friendly and cares more for you and your horse than they care about money. The lessons are amazing! When I am there I feel safe and calm.

I had a wonderful trail ride. My guide, Alison, was excellent at communicating what to expect on the trail and how to handle to horses. Alison listened patiently. She was very generous in sharing her knowledge and experience. They have a beautiful arena. The waiting/viewing area is well appointed with vending machines and clean restrooms. The upstairs has comfortable seating and there are picnic-style tables and benches on the ground floor. Due to current COVID restrictions in St. Louis County, masks are required inside buildings and for mounting and dismounting. On the trail, where horses provide proper social distancing, masks can be removed. Everyone there was kind and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this center for beginners and more experienced riders.

I've enjoyed the trail ride several times now. Pinkie is gentle, sure footed, and rhythmically slow, which I appreciate. Once on the trail ride, the conductor and caboose are always kind and informative. The one thing which is consistently disappointing is customer service when I arrive. There's always friendly conversation among employees, which is great, however, it would be nice to be greeted upon arrival. Further, I always arrive early as directed with my paperwork complete, yet there seems to be a nonchalant attitude surrounding timeliness. We were suppose to ride at 2:30pm today. We didn't walk out of the office and over to the horses until about 2:50pm today. Perhaps people who don't arrive on time should be left instead of holding up everyone else who was not only on time, but also 15 minutes early as directed.

Great summer horse camp for kids

I was going to take my son here for horse riding lessons. I asked about their COVID masking policies and said I preferred the teacher wear a mask. A lady called me today to tell me she would not require the teachers to wear a mask because “the safety of the children around a horse.” And it was important for the children to hear the teacher around a horse. She said that they would also come within close contact, less than 6 ft apart. I said all I’m asking is for you to follow the CDC guidelines. You are prioritizing comfort of the teacher over safety of the children, because nothing is more unsafe than being unmasked in a global pandemic. She went on to tell me that COVID does not impact children ????????‍♀️. I continued to quote the daily death rates nation wide. I can’t handle this ignorance. It's sad that this place prioritizes their own comfort over the customer's comfort, disregarding CDC guidelines, and then asks you to pay $200 a month for it. No thanks!

A friend brought her well-behaved & respectful kiddo to this place for horseback riding lessons. It seems that once they found out he was on the spectrum, they refused to let him ride anymore. I wouldn't bring anyone here who is "different" or has challenges. They are discriminatory and closed minded.

The facility is great and the staff is excellent. The trail could use some cleaning up, getting rid of loose rocks. A very nice ride!

We were disappointed in the Mommy and Me Pony Camp. It was not worth the $50 as the program did not include riding a horse or pony. In the flyer-advertised to 3 & 4 year olds-it lays out what will happen and it is strongly implied that horse riding will take place; as proper shoes/boots are required as well as children being provided a helmet. We did a craft, were read a book, and shown around the stables. A program not worth $50. The facility is very nice, staff is friendly and I'm sure the lessons and other camps for older kids are professional and fun. However there were a lot of disappointed kids and adults when we learned there was no horse riding at the camp.

Just went for a trail ride a few days ago with friends. Exceeded expectations! Our guide, Julie was great! She was really fun and engaging. Scenery was beautiful, we will definitely go back :)

The ladies here were so helpful when we had trouble with our paperwork. They went to great lengths to reschedule for us, and it was a wonderful experience! Our horses, Ted, Jimmy, and Casper (a.k.a. "Plops"), were so easy and calm. Definitely will be back!

I had a amazing time on this adventure. The trail was a little bit mud and which made it narrow, but those horses were on it. Stitch was my horse and he was use to the trail. Rarely did I have to give him direction.

This was such an amazing birthday present! I have done horse back riding a few times before here and every time has been above and beyond! The staff here is really nice, and they treat their animals with care ???? they have more than just horses too! They have summer camps there during the summer so overall it seemed like a community based place where all are welcome! Looking forward to another birthday trail ride!

It was great. I wish the trail was a little longer but we plan to go again on a couple of weeks!

My children participated in their first camp at Kraus in July. They really loved it and I was very happy with their care. My daughter did the horse camp and my son did the Little Farmer camp. Both loved it and learned a lot about the animals. They are hoping to go back next summer.

The whole experience was lovely. My daughter enjoyed having her birthday there! I loved the little building for parties. We had it to ourselves and it was cute.
