Hard to leave Spotica (the sweet puppy) behind like that knowing she was scared but I felt better as the kind officer on duty that evening that met us there lead me in. For one, he opened the door to the kennels saying, "whats up crazies?" In a good hearted and humorous way, which eased my anxiety. He gave her the biggest bowl of dog food and water that one dog could ever possibly need, which I am grateful for since she was so hungry. He made sure she was set, and okay before handling the booking process. Ive only heard good things about this shelter though, so I pretty sure it was the right choice for that instance. I pray she finds the best forever family, she's so sweet. I also like the size and space for each kennel. Love that each dog had something cute handing from the gates like decorative hearts. I like the fact that its actually right in town but still out of the way so they are on the edge away from society.

Beautiful shelter. I stopped to surrender a kitten I found in my brother's back yard. I think the information required to surrender a stray is a bit much and could be a deterrent. Very happy that it's a no kill shelter.

They need to lower the price for adoption so the animals can get into forever homes instead of being put down not the dogs or cats fault they are high priced

The animals are treated very well by friendly staff ???? I volunteered to walk the dogs. They have a soft, mulch trail in the back of their buildings that you can use to bond with the dog(s). (I don't think you can walk their cats though.)

Apparently they let anyone rescue dog with no restrictions to run lose kill peoples pets that get in way .want nothing to do with them

These folks are fantastic. The facilities are wonderful and you can tell the animals are very well cared for, you can these folks really care about what they do.

We really enjoyed getting to take a couple of the dogs for a walk/run on the trail thats not quite finished. Shelter was clean and the staff was very kind. They are currently in need of papertowels and bleach if anyones interested in donating!

We got our dog and she is amazing the staff are super polite and the fee to adopt a dog isn't crazy expensive either. The place is very welcoming in terms of atmosphere. They have a lot of dogs thats could use loving homes.

Tried calling them during there posted biz hours 7 times including different days they NEVER answered the phone so frustrating why do they even have one?

Went in search of a friend for my fur son and found a BEAUTIFUL red haired baby beagle mix which I promptly adopted and he has brought us so much joy in the few days already since we adopted him!! They called him snickers which my husband quickly changed to his favorite country singer Waylon???? his older fur brother (black Chiweenie) checked him out the first night and they get along PERFECT!! The ladies there were so helpful and the place is clean and they are amazing with the babies there !! Thank you for all you do and giving us the opportunity to love this SWEET baby!! ❤️

Our animal shelter is by far the best I've ever seen. The people are amazing and the animals are in such great conditions. They're always well fed, clean, and happy when I visit

Got to volunteer and it was awesome. The dogs were friendly and adorable. They loved being loved on and being played with. Definitely going again.
