Great people here, you can tell they really care.

We took our two kittens to St. Louis Cat Clinic for their regular kitten check-ups and vaccines from Nov 2020 to March 2021. In one of our kittens, they found a heart murmur that they did not recommend to investigate and would later dismiss entirely when we asked about it on their next check-up. This kitten also had a chronic daily cough that we communicated multiple times, which they attributed to "dry St. Louis winters" and recommended that we get a humidifier. Later, our kitten developed labored breathing. We called to make an appointment for x-rays and they recommended a date 3 weeks away. Concerned, we sent them a video of his breathing and they said unless his breathing gets worse, he can wait the 3 weeks. Things did not get worse, but we got tired of waiting. After an emergency vet visit to Kirkwood Animal Hospital, our kitten was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and late stages of congestive heart failure. Our kitten died a week later, three days after the x-rays would have been taken. All of these symptoms our kitten exhibited are typical for heart problems and heart failure, and I'm floored that the vets did not encourage or recommend that we investigate these symptoms (and -urgently-) as they were happening. I strongly believe the vets in this clinic neglected our kitten. I completely regret trusting their care, and have moved on to another vet for further care of our other kitten. I do not recommend St. Louis Cat Clinic to anyone who is looking for pro-active cat care.

Both the administrative and medical staff at this facility are incredible. My cat has some behavior challenges and many vets have not been friendly or accessible. Finding good veterinary care became even more challenging for us once he was diagnosed with diabetes. This facility has given me hope that my kitty can have a happy and healthy life. They have been so helpful and accommodating. I’ve had to ask MANY questions and they’re so responsive, kind, and supportive. They really care about their clients, not just about money, and it shows. I’m so grateful to have found this cat clinic and I can’t recommend them enough.

Very friendly staff who have been consistent and reliable! It’s so nice to have a vet devoted to cats. It is clean and there is always thorough explanation and/or resources given.

Failed to communicate with me. This is 2021 you guys really need to depend less on the phone and answer emails faster. I can't have my phone on me at work I only have access to email. I never got the forms they said they sent. Requiring confirmation an hour before you close is ridiculous. I reached out to them because I hadn't got the forms yet and the response I got was you need to send the forms in. No it's not in my spam folder either. I looked there before emailing on Sunday when you were closed. It takes less time to answer an email than it does to make a phone call. And you can be on the phone while answering emails. I have to miss out on my cats appointment because of this confusion I asked for help and the email reply I got was completely unhelpful. Followed by an hour long deadline I didn't know about for an hour and a half after the place closed. I get that this buissnes has established client's and you don't need new clients completely unprofessional. Not to mention the call they gave me they mention my appointment was at 10am the next morning they call at 852 am to tell me my appointment is at 9AM.Thanks so much for wasting my valuable time.

I've been using St. Louis Cat Clinic for over 10 years now. Everyone is awesome, friendly and professional. They treats my cats as if they were their own. I board my cats at the clinic whenever I go out of town and I know they're in great hands and will be well taken care of. I recommend St Louis Cat Clinic to anyone looking for vet services for their cat.

They are very thorough and do what is best for your cat. You can see they genuinely care for your cat.

These veterinarians are truly stellar. You cannot go wrong treating your cat here. I have 3 cats, and have been bringing them here for 12 years. I have a 16 year old cat that became seriously ill this past weekend. Even during the challenging COVID19 lockdown, they took him in right away without an appointment, and diagnosed him. Dr. Gruber is not only very friendly and personable, but very professional, and patiently explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. I'm very grateful to the St Louis Cat Clinic. Vets and techs are all kind and understanding and have even helped me out with free prescription cat food. Services are affordable. They have been doing curbside service during the pandemic, which is a relief.

Even with covid restrictions this place is a great

My cat started going here just a few months ago. He had to have dental surgery soon after. I have not met his veterinarians, but have talked to both of them over the phone (COVID restrictions). This made me very nervous, but I am so thankful I found them for my Lenny. Staff and doctors are very caring and knowledgeable.

Don't go here they are over priced. Go to Watson animal clinic

STL Cat Clinic has been a great resource for our 3 cats. Staff is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Freesh personally calls with test results and explains what they mean. Dr. Gruber is new this year and she has been great with support and suggestions on getting our big boy to lose some weight. All the techs I've met have been great--everyone here loves cats! Definitely recommend.

Great vet! The staff is super friendly and truly love cats, which is obvious by how hard they work to save them. I take both my cats here since moving to the city and they are both so healthy! Doc had me put them on diets and they’ve both lost a few pounds since we started! Couldn’t be happier!

This is by far the best vet clinic I've ever been to, from the front desk staff to the vet tech to the vet themselves. I brought my two cats here yesterday for the first time and was beyond impressed with the care they received. Both my girls were given a more thorough exam than I've ever seen, and Dr. Gruber was incredibly attentive, listened to all my concerns, and took them seriously. Both the tech and Dr. Gruber were very gentle with my cats and handled my super sensitive (read: a little crazy and hates the vet) one with total respect. Once it became clear my crazy lady was at her limit with being there, they took the necessary steps to complete the exam without stressing her out even more. This was a huge relief to me, as she has been handled roughly by vets in the past that were dead set on getting the appointment done rather than making sure she was as comfortable as possible. I am so very glad I found this clinic. Bonus: all the services quoted to me are significantly less ($$) than the place we were going before. This is a win win! Highly recommend - we have found our family vet.

The best vet I've ever had! When I moved to Saint Louis I had Banfield treat my new kitten who seemed to be having worms. After it was clear their treatment wasnt working, I brought him to st louis cat clinic. They were able to properly diagnose my cat and get him treated. Dr. Freesh (I'm pretty sure that's her name) was so nice and called me at my house to explain in great detail what was wrong with him. Their prices were fair and I felt they were honest and upfront the whole way through. They always give you a price quote before treatment rather than surprising you at the counter. My cats are healthy now. Thank you!!
