It's only changed hands 3 times in 50 years and every vet and the tech. have met pets needs . Two years ago the dog got so. Ad couldn't walk and just about quite eating.but with their help she made it.Never found what caused it but Dr. Smith helped with the recovery

Hailey, a staff member is super rude, unprofessional and harsh regarding ill pets. Vet refused to call me back after providing my dog medication when I had concerns. Said Id have to pay to ask questions! Claims vet does not answer follow up questions for concerns, only through a paid consultation! Much better and caring vets offices out there. Dont waste your time, money and heart here unless you absolutely have too! Your pet us just a dollar bill. They don't really care what happens to them. Actually filed a complaint through the Veterinarian Licensing Board.

Personable staff. Business is conducted outside. They like for you to use their products.

After having such terrible care at another facility I was forced into finding a new vet for the fur babies. I read previous reviews for Jewell and thought I would give them a try. It was the best decision I made for my dogs. The care they get here is amazing. The staff is so helpful and the doc is never too busy to answer all my questions (some of which I am sure are stupid). I cannot speak highly enough about this place!

The veterinarian Patricia Smith refers to herself as "The Doctor" and has a serious god complex. Never met her husband who is also a veterinarian, but maybe he has better people skills. Acts as though she really cares but only wants your money. We had to hear about her dog Winston for twenty minutes before I could even begin to talk about our dog. Vaccinations are overpriced!! The receptionist is as rude as can be and not really sure she has any background with animal health. I would highly recommend finding anybody but her to take care of your pet.

We're happy to make the decision of sending both of our dogs to the the best vet in town we used to have them go to Jefferson animal hospital

Dr. Smith is AMAZING! My pets have always felt comfortable and that is because of the great treatment from her and the staff. Add that Dr. Smith has a no-kill rescue/adoption... ❤️ Can't wait to see the new addition and update diggs!

This place is AMAZING!!! The staff is wonderful and so helpful. Our dog was sick and they got him right in and the Doctor spent time going over everything with me.

The staff is very supportive and helpful. We adopted two dogs from their rescue and it was a very positive experience.The people who work there are great and they take good care of the animals in their care.

Sure the mask would be nice but as I had to sit in my car and wait and the vet came out making horrible accusations at me Miss Smith did not have a mask on and was shouting into my car into my face without a mask on. I brought my sick cat of 18 yrs to her because my vet couldn’t get her in. She Accused me of animal abuse because my cat was so skinny and my cat has been very skinny since she turned 15 been healthy up until the last week when she got very sick. This woman vet didn’t even know me. I was so upset about my cat being so ill I was almost speechless. How unprofessional and she said there was nothing could be done and my kitty had to be put down. I was not even allowed to go in with her in her last moment’s. There was a very very kind Receptionist or technician I wish I could remember her name but she brought my cat out to my car for me to say my final goodbye. I just hope this woman was right and I did the right thing. I will tell everyone I know about how I was treated there!

Dr Smith and her team are great! I adopted 2 kitties from their shelter & they have helped keep them healthy.

We adopted our corgi-mix from Judy's Forgotten Jewels and have kept coming back to the hospital for her heart worm treatment. They are thoughtful, organized, and so great with every animal that comes through the door.

We have been visiting this vet for almost 20 years, with the previous vet, and Dr. Smith. They have always been amazing with our family (pets), in their care, both in good and bad times. We are incredibly thankful we found these wonderful people, and highly recommend them.

Brought out Stanli here...very stinky probably which is normal for these places. Couldn't find anything wrong with him. Just gave medicine for foot pain

Rescue animals are here. If I lived in the city would be my place for the veterinarian.
