All of the staff I have ever interacted with have been fantastic. I feel like I am given the best recommendations for care and everything is explained to me well. All of my family brings their pets here! Wonderful place.

Our 17 year old beagle Miller, patient #1431, passed away Tuesday. We would like to express gratitude to all the doctors and staff at the Hospital for taking care of our fur baby for years especially to Dr. Kyle who has saved Miller's life on multiple occasions, making time for an emergency appointment the same day in spite of a fully booked schedule. Dr. Kyle performs thorough examinations and addresses all the concerns with a caring, patient attitude. No matter how sick Miller was, he always started to recover after being seen by Dr. Kyle. As always, this Monday Dr. Kyle agreed to see Miller even though there were no available appointments. Since Miller had seizures, we decided to take him to an emergency room right away and cancelled an appointment with Dr. Kyle scheduled within 2 hours. We regret our decision - if we brought Miller to Dr. Kyle on Monday, the outcome might have been different.

I am very disappointed at the service i have gotten from them so far. On my second appointment i was assisted by a woman who seemed less than satisfied to offer me any help. I had to wait for her to finish her personal conversation outside the hospital before she could assist me. She did not address me at all, after i told her what i was there for she went back inside and brought me a syringe in a ziplock bag, handed it to me with no directions or what it was for and that was that. A few days after we found a tick on our puppy after they had claimed they did a thorough inspection on him. I don’t care about a lot of things but for the service i actually pay money for i think I deserve a little bit of respect.

Arch Animal is TOP NOTCH! Every worker in there shows such great care, concern, and professionalism. Our dog has many (many) unique issues, and Dr. Mike has poured his heart and knowledge into helping us get to the bottom of it. His commitment and determination to his craft are above and beyond, and we know our dogs are in the very best of hands! We would not go anywhere else!

I am very disappointed with their service, we brought our puppy in for his latest round of shots. He came back to us absolutely sore which we can’t even pick him up without him screaming, he can’t even be picked up without him feeling pain. We couldn’t even put him under a blanket to keep him comfortable. He also came back with his nails way too short and they were bleeding, they were nice but I am disappointed with what happened to my puppy.

This clinic is amazing. The whole staff is very sweet and friendly, they return calls promptly and always follow up. They seem to truly enjoy their work and the animals. I am incredibly picky about vets because of a bad experience in the past. Below is my good experience with Arch Animal Hospital. We moved to the St. Louis area a few years ago. I have two cats, one with epilepsy and one who is so fearful of the vet he becomes the Tasmanian Devil (he’s a sweetheart at home, he just really hates and fears Not Home.). Dr. Mike was the first vet to ever sit down with me in a room and say, “So tell me about your cats.” It made me feel like he genuinely wanted to get to know my individual pets, and care for them. My Tasmanian devil cat did not like Dr. Mike as much as the other cat and I. He hissed, spit, growled, and outright attacked. I was surprised, embarrassed, and anxious, but Dr. Mike was calm, smiling and good-natured about it. It was just a check-up and vaccinations, and Dr. Mike was able to do both quickly without sedating or stressing the cat too much. I was worried my cat was going to seriously injure this very sweet man who was just trying to administer medical care, and Dr. Mike only seemed worried about whether the cat might hurt himself struggling. I decided then I trust him completely with my cats. They’re my babies, and saying I trust Arch Animal Hospital with them is the best compliment I can give.

I’ve always been very pleased with care and service that Arch Animal Hospital has provided. However, last week there was an issue with communication, and I sent an email bringing it to their attention. Today, Dr. Mike told me that him and his staff addressed it at their weekly meeting, and after learning more about the situation, I’m feeling much better. I’m more than impressed with Dr. Mike’s professionalism, level of expertise, and sincerity.

My pet received an oral medication and I was charged almost 10 dollars for a waste disposal fee. Even the staff admitted that it was a ridiculous fee.

took my dog to have a toe growth evaluated knowing that it would require surgery as it grew too fast. First visit went as expected, waited in the car, the vet called with the plan and suggested a dental cleaning during the surgery. He indicated there were no loose teeth and plaque was normal for the age of my dog. 3 weeks later, during surgery I'm called by the surgeon vet with an urgent request to approve the removal of 14 teeth! (not a typo, 14 teeth) The vet was not great about answering how this was possible and I felt pressured to make a decision that would add nearly $500 to the bill (which she argued about the cost as well). I went ahead with the extractions and paid in full for all procedures. 2 weeks later, I had to call to get pathology results on the toe removal as no one called with them. I spoke to Dr. Mike regarding my numerous concerns and was told he would need to check with the 2 vets and get back to me. During my chat with Dr. Mike, I was also informed that a dental does NOT have to be paid upfront and can be broken into payments - this option was not disclosed until 2 weeks after the procedure was completed and paid in full. My convo with Dr. Mike was nearly 6 weeks ago - there has been no return call as was discussed. I will not be returning and anytime anyone asks, I do NOT recommend this clinic.

Arch Animal Hospital hospital is staffed by people who love animals and their human companions. They have been concerned whenever I have questions about my dog's health or behavior. I have never had any difficulty scheduling an appointment for routine care or sick visits. The recently expanded and upgraded facility is always clean. I trust Dr. Mike and his staff to give our dog excellent care.

Arch Animal Hospital is by far the best vet experience we've ever had. Our first cat had a terminal illness at only 4 months old and Dr. Angela and the entire staff did everything possible to help us and you could tell they truly felt for us. After our cat passed, we ended up adopting a kitten they helped to save and we named him Archie after the hospital because of how amazing they are! Beyond highly recommend using them!

If you have an appointment here, prepare to wait 10 to 15 minutes after you appointment time only to be assaulted with an upsell before your pet gets in the door. Do you need a microchip? No, how about a vaccination he already had? No, then surely you need heart worm medication and flea and tick.. How about providing the service that was requested before trying to grab more revenue? Sorry, but people tend to get upset with incompetence.

We chose Arch as our vet when we moved from St Charles in 2018. Dr Mike is friendly and attentive to Harley's needs . The staff answers their phone on the first ring normally and for the most part are friendly. If they don't know the answer to my question, they will either ask the vet or call me back. Only once was I perturbed when one of the staff took it upon themselves to reject an online med order without consulting me first and I ended up going to the emergency vet for the purchase. I also feel their prices are too high; although I expected to pay more when I moved here, but I was shocked at the cost after our first visit.

Arch Animal Hospital is by far the best in the St. Louis Area. I have met with Dr. Mike and Dr. Angela and they both show so much love and kindness to my fur babies. When I had to put my little guy Jake down in January 2019 they were there for me and even called to check up on me after Jake passed. Dr. Mike always answers my questions no matter how silly they may sound and I love that he gets on the floor to play with my babies before doing the "yucky" shots. Every time I leave Arch it is with a smile because they love my animals just as much as I do and I truly appreciate it. 10/10 would forever recommend Arch!

We have been taking our two dogs there for over 3 years now and love it! Our one dog used to be scared of the vet, but now he is excited to go in. Doctor Kyle and his staff are great with them every time!

We have been coming to Arch Animal Hospital since Dr. Holly owned it, some 12 years ago. On our last visit about a year ago for our one dog, we were treated badly by one of the pet techs. We were shamed and embarrassed into the point of us leaving. Then on a second return we were so overcharged for an estimate of treatment of a figure of $187.00, that we went to another vet and got the treatment for $87.00. WE have since moved our pet care to another VET.

I had an issue here a few months ago with the office trying to charge me an emergency fee for an "appointment" two days later. It ended up being a misunderstanding and some issues with training staff. No worries, the doctor was very apologetic and nice, although he did admit they were charging premium visit fees due to COVID. This was fine as we generally only do vet visits annually. Well today I got an email regarding a "bi-annual visit and Bordatella 6 month booster". When we did the annual shots I assured multiple times that all were annual, and even opted out of the Lepto vaccine because it required a booster. We have two dogs, 10 years old and 5 years old, and in their entire life span we have never had a Bordatella booster. I quickly called our previous vets (3 here in Missouri, one in Alabama, and one in Tennessee) all of whom said they did annual Bordatella vaccines. I feel at this point, sadly, that this vet does in fact practice a lot of money-grabbing techniques as some of the previous reviewers have mentioned. Their pharmacy meds for preventative are also almost triple what you can get on PetMeds or at Costco- so make sure you shop around if you do decide to bring your business here. They also will not submit prescriptions to online pharmacies anymore, they claim they can't attest to the quality control. 1-800 PetMeds has been in business since before this vet office was even established, and I don't know any vets who won't approve prescriptions through them. Please just remember Veterinarians are an open market, and there are plenty around who will take good care of your pets and not try to add additional nonsensical charges and visits for their own monetary benefit.
