We did our day camp trial day and it went well (puppy fell asleep in the car on the way home) and we even signed our dog up for training. We boarded our dog for one night and she was to do play camp the following day. Initially I was told that if we picked her up around 4 pm we would be charged for a whole extra day of boarding on top of the day camp charge. Upon speaking to someone else I was told I would have to call and check her out of boarding and then check her in to day camp to avoid being charged an extra day. So I called and did just that and thought everything was fine. When she was picked up she smelled like pee and was very hyper (which isn’t typical after spending a day in camp). I’m not sure if they forgot to switch her over to day camp or what, but between this experience, the difficulty I always seem to have getting anyone on the phone, and them not being open on Sundays, we ended up switching facilities.

My tiny dog had his first Yuppy Puppy boarding experience recently and I am very impressed with the outcome. Knowing he is very shy around other dogs, I booked him a "serenity suite" with "me time", which seems like it was the perfect option for him. When I picked him up, he was happy and excited to see us - no behaviour or other issues at all once we got home. He also didn't have that kennel smell like with another kennel I've used for him. He was groomed just prior to his stay and smelled just as sweet when I picked him up. Staff was very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend Yuppy Puppy and will use them again in the future.

I love the Yuppy Puppy! They didn't just train my puppy-- they helped change my life. My puppy, Aura, is training to be a service dog who will assist me with my multiple disabilities. This is a really big job. It takes a lot of training to become a service dog, and not everyone is capable of training future service dogs. So I put a lot of thought and effort into choosing a trainer for my puppy. And I'm so glad I chose Yuppy Puppy. Aura completed 7 weeks of day training at Yuppy Puppy over the course of 4 months-- 1 week of Puppy 101, a 4-week training program, and 2 weeks of refresher training/test prep. She learned so much, and I ak incredibly impressed with all the progress she made! Aura knows basic and intermediate obedience and can reliably perform several service dog tasks at only 6 months old. She does great at home and is extremely well-mannered when she is working/training out in public. Thanks to the Yuppy Puppy, Aura has been able to earn her VHMA and CGC titles, and one of their former trainers was even kind enough to come back just to evaluate Aura for her CGC. Aura loved going to school, and that's because the staff there doesn't just train her-- they care for her. They know her: all her likes and her challenges and her goofy personality quirks. They love her, and she loves them back (especially her trainer Nikki and Lauren at the front desk). As her handler, it gives me incredible peace of mind knowing that Aura is receiving such quality care and education. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the training at Yuppy Puppy. Aura's trainer, Nikki, is INCREDIBLY accomplished; she competes at very high levels of dog sports, travels the country performing with her own dogs, and was even recently featured on TV for her dog training prowess. She taught Aura a lot, and she taught me about being a good handler, too. She is a perfect example of dedicated, balanced, consistent training executed the way it should be. All the Yuppy Puppy staff are incredibly nice and helpful. They were wonderful about accommodating my crazy schedule and tailoring a unique training plan that worked for Aura and her specific goals as a future service dog. They're all so sweet, and the business has such an upbeat, caring atmosphere because of them. They never treated me differently because of my disability and were always incredibly accommodating. Aura also goes to Pampered Play there, and she and my other dog also get groomed there. I've been impressed with those services as well, but it's really the training Aura received there that truly impressed me. Aura isn't just a pet. She is an opportunity for me to lead a successful, independent life. As a service dog, she will help me be healthy and safe. Being disabled can be incredibly difficult, but with a service dog by my side, so many more doors are open to me. Aura still has so much to learn, but she wouldn't be able to do the work she already does without Yuppy Puppy, and the training she received there has set her up for a very successful service dog career. I can't thank Yuppy Puppy enough for helping to train this life-changing dog for me. It's no small thing to train a service animal, but the Yuppy Puppy exceeded my expectations and has been such a blessing in my life.

If I could only rate this place a zero. I took my Westie here when I first moved to the area. He had been going to a groomer whom we loved for the last 10 years in Kirkwood and we wanted somewhere closer. When I brought him in I was a little apprehensive because he is an elderly dog at 14 and the place was very loud. When returning to pick him up he wouldn’t even look at me he just wanted to run out the door. After I paid I took down at him at his level and his nose was bleeding dripping on the floor bleeding. So I then went to the receptionist and asked what had happened. She said that she didn’t know and she would ask the groomer. The groomer also said she didn’t know and said sometimes this just happens. He was very anxious during his cut. I then asked to speak to the manager. A young lady with bleached fried off hair came up to me and just told me sometimes with elderly dogs this happens. I then replied,” they start bleeding out of their nose?” Without any other explanation I left. I then re-cut his hair when I came home because it was horribly uneven. I would never recommend this place for any animal. It is very obvious to see that it is just a large factory not a loving place to bring your pet. Responding to your response, the description of the lady is Relevant so you can know who I spoke to. And I did reach out immediately. I asked to speak to the manager the dog not only had blood coming out of his nose but on his coat so it didn't just happen. I spoke with the vet after I got home and they said it is extremely rare and only happens in very high stress places.

We adopted miss Skye July of 2020 from the humane society at 13 weeks old. I researched, called, and vetted out several boarding and play camp facilities before I settled on Yuppy Puppy. Yes, the price was higher but I wanted the best for Skye. She LOVES Yuppy puppy so much. She knows when we are on the way that she can’t wait to see her friends and staff. It’s her home away from home. We have her on a monthly bath schedule and she frequents their play camp a few times a month. Not to mention we have boarded her several times and we never worry. Skye got to celebrate her birthday with her friends and the staff made her day special! Not to mention, Skye did the training program in which she is a changed pup. Yuppy puppy has taken such great care of her and we can’t thank them enough. Everyone knows her when she comes in and is always giving her a warm welcome. I highly recommend Yuppy Puppy. I love that they rescue shelter dogs, vet check them, put them through training and keep them comfy until a family comes to their rescue. Their initiative is amazing and if you are looking for a new family member, try Yuppy Puppy first!

The staff members are amazing! Our doxies seemed a bit down when we got them home because they enjoyed the spa so much. They got to be around other dogs and go in and out as much as they wanted.

I had high hopes for Yuppy Puppy. We were anxious to drop our 6 month old CockAPoo off for his first boarding experience. Upon my conversations with staff on the phone prior, they were pleasant in explaining the process. When arriving to drop him off it was clear this was a busy establishment and appeared chaotic. The receptionists were short and unwelcoming, people standing around waiting for their pups as there isn’t anywhere to actually “wait” due to the over abundance of retail. During his stay I had difficulties getting through by phone to check up on him. I sent Facebook messages of which I did receive pictures earlier in his stay but no responses during the latter. After our pups 6 day stay, they brought him out and he was shaking. The woman said he was “excited”. He is a puppy and is excited often but never shaking and trembling. We paid our rather expensive bill and when returning to the car he smelt horrible! He had something crusty on his ears, chest and face, as well as poop up and down his legs and back end. He was not himself. Even today he is still not himself. He’s had diarrhea and vomited this morning. After two baths he still has a stinch to him. I’m not sure what had went on but when trusting an establishment that has the reputation and prices such as Yuppy Puppy I had expected much more. It seems the establishment is much more about lavish appearance and the mighty dollar than the actual care and compassion of your fur babies. Unfortunately, they will not be given a second chance and if we again feel comfortable enough to board him it will not be here.

I called for 3 days to get someone to answer the phone! One time someone picked up, then asked me to hold and I was on hold for 15 minutes then gave up. I called back and got a voicemail. Last time I was there for grooming plus daycare. I was charged $20 more than the last time I was there for the exact same thing. Over $70 for grooming a 10 pound dog!!

I've tried to call multiple times and they don't answer, I wish they kept the two locations. My dog has been there multiple times, once she was cut pretty badly. I figured I'd pass it off but now since I can't even get ahold of them and that happened I might as well find a new groomer, which sucks. Mistakes happen, we like ours a lot but there's no point if they don't answer the phone.

I took my pup to yuppy puppy after many people recommending them to me and I will now be one of those people that will be recommending them to everyone I talk to. I got lucky enough to have the owner, Jess, be my groomer that day and I will forever stick with her for as long as I can. She was so sweet and made my nervous pup feel so at home and pampered! And as another plus the prices are absolutely amazing, the place is very clean and adorable, and you can buy things like treats, toys, and accessories for your pups!

Yuppy Puppy is a high-class Pet Spa at affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and the groomers usually do a great job. My dogs are always relaxed when I pick them up. I just wish they’d give you a detailed receipt so you know exactly what was done and what you were charged for each service.

Been taking my 2 doodles here for the last 6-7 years for grooming and boarding. They do such a great job with them and I can tell the staff really cares about my pets. Great customer service as they’ve helped me out to my car many times with both large doodles.

Jessica does a fantastic job grooming my 2 Shih Tzu's! They come home with a soft silky coat & beautiful bows in their top knots. She informs me when she finds anything unusual. Once she found a spider bite on the back of her neck & we immediately went to the vet for treatment. I am a regular (every other week) customer & receive VIP services. I just love everyone that works at the Yuppy Puppy. Last week it was snowing when we arrived & my female cried because the snow got lodged in her pads. The girl working at the desk ran right over to wipe her paws. My male insisted she wipe his too! They are so loving to all the animals! I highly recommend their VIP program. Your pet is happier when groomed on a regular basis.

Took my dogs there 3 times and each time they came home they acted weird in our house for the next 2 days around us. Our small puppy came home with a large cut on her belly one time. We've now taken our dogs to a new groomer and they came home and acted like our dogs normally act. I do not recommend them. Additionally, I came under my parents account, but I have no want to discuss anything with you or your staff. If you hear anything bad about your company you try to bury the evidence as far as you can.

Have used Yuppy Puppy for years for both grooming and boarding. I never have to worry about the safety or care of my pet. They work well with us knowing my pup doesn’t play with other dogs. I would recommend this place 1000 times!
