We love R Veterinary! The way they interact with our fur babies proves they genuinely care about animals. I highly recommend this clinic, the people are so nice and the quality of care is outstanding!

If I could give the staff and doctor 10 stars, I would! We had to take our clumsy lab to get some stitches in his forehead. We were visiting from out of town and they kindly let us bring him in and worked him into their busy schedule. They were very reasonable, knowledgeable and thorough. I can highly recommend this office.

It’s like taking your kids to a preschool that loves all your pets. The vet comes to the car and talks to you, which is super nice. And overall the cost is very reasonable. I really like them.

Update: Since first taking my Aussie in, I've made R Veterinary my regular vet. I still love them. They're prompt, friendly, reasonable, and so good with my dogs. I highly recommend them. I brought my Australian Shepherd in for an emergency visit this last week. They got me in quickly, were great with my dog, and were incredibly kind to me. I truly believe they saved her life. They even followed up the next day to be sure she was doing well. Their rates were reasonable, even for an emergency visit. I would highly recommend them and plan to bring my pets here in the future.

Suzy's first appointment went very well. She was able to be seen the same day and I did not have to wait for her to be called for her appointment. The staff was very friendly and professional.

I have a bunch of cats that live behind my house and a couple of them had gotten sick so I took them to University of Missouri veterinary hospital where they both died. I told them what I thought was wrong and I was correct but they didn’t treat them for it and they both died. I found another kitty that was not doing well under my truck and I took her here instead of University, told them what i thought was wrong and they listened then acted! Currently the kitty is still recovering but she is going to make it and be fine! They were fast and caring! I will be keeping this cute little fur ball and get her care from this place! Thank you so much for saving her!

I take my pets to R Veterinary because I know they will get the best care possible. The doctors stay up on the most current techniques and procedures. Their combined knowledge, equipment for diagnosis and proven protocols for treatment make them above average. The staff is, of course, caring and compassionate because they are all animal lovers just like us! Our pets are part of our family and R Veterinary recognizes and appreciates that!

We were first time visitors and needed our dog seen for what we thought could be a serious problem. Columbia Pet Hospital was able to see us within an hour of calling and we had our dog back with a bill of good health and medication from Dr. May in 30 minutes. Staff was friendly and we will definitely be switching to this practice!

Highly recommend! We started seeing doctor Martin in April2019. Fantastic staff and always there to help. We travel from Kansas City for treatments and checkups.

We have been taking our pets here for about 8 years now and have never had a problem. We use to board our cats and they always came home happy and clean. Once they passed away the hospital made it easy on us and helped us with that process. They even sent us a card with a little heart in it with seeds so when we picked a resting place for our cat, we could grow some flowers in that spot. Very sweet. However, we just got back from vacation and we had to board our dog. She has been boarded here at least twice before. We decided the second time that due to her anxiety, we would need to medicate her. So this time we had it all set up and had her meds and even brought her blanket from home and her allergy pills. My husband picked her up today after being there for 6 days and when he got her in the car he noticed this brown ring around her neck. We bathed her right away and while I was bathing her we noticed that her whole chin was raw and the brown ring was dried blood. Her paws were inflamed as well as her belly, which happens when she doesn’t take her allergy pills. My husband called and was told “she just wanted to go home and howled a lot but nothing else”. He was told that someone from the kennel who watched her would call him back. Never got a call back. He went up there again to pick up her blanket that they forgot to give us and asked if she took her meds. Again, someone who did not take part in her care told us she wouldn’t take them because she wouldn’t eat. Wouldn’t take the anxiety pills either because she wouldn’t eat. At no point were we notified. So now we had to pay for anxiety meds, that were basically thrown away according to them, and have to get another refill on her allergy pills, which aren’t cheap, because those too were basically thrown away. Not to mention we have to pay to get meds administered as well. We were then told that they could make us an appointment to get her looked at. We were also told a handful of times that the girl talking to my husband was not apart of her care but feels that this might not be the best place to board her. We are so upset and heart broken that our dog had to go through this when she has such horrible separation anxiety. We trusted these people with our baby and to be told “maybe this isn’t the best place for her to board” is such a shame. We should be able to trust our vets office and this is just disgusting.

All of my pets come here, I trust Dr. Martin, Dr. May and all the staff with my babies! Highly recommended!
