They helped me get my buddy back to normal and help me get him neutered as well. Love everything you guys do

They were extremely good with a stray dog that we took in. They are also trying to give us tips to help get Loki (stray Blue Healer/Pit Bull mix) to get along with Spike (our Am Staff). Loki was neutered last week. He is very afraid of people since he had a hard life previous including at least 2-3 weeks of running wild and having rocks thrown at him. The entire staff was very understanding. And they have a great price list for vaccines and microchips.

My dogs were abandoned on the side of the road by terrible people who lied and blocked me after arguing with me about the situation. I found out by CHMS that they had picked the puppies up. I called them the same day to claim my puppies and was told they couldn’t give them back to me without proof. So I showed up to their office showing them pictures of me and puppies before hand, my ID and also screenshots of the lady saying she abandoned them on the road and it STILL wasn’t enough for them to give me my puppies back without having to pay a $150 fee to adopt them back smh! I then called them the following week asking how I could adopt them back and I was told they weren’t available for adoption until they’re held for a week. I call once I filed my adoption application and was told they have already been up for adoption for a whole WEEK AND A HALF and now my puppies have a “meet and greet” with different people who aren’t the owners of the puppies! TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM CMHS! You broke my puppies apart and sold them to different people knowing they had a safe and secure home to go to. I made it more than evident that they were my puppies but still refused to give me what is mine. So sad that everyone in the office is highly unprofessional I hope you get it together before you ruin more families lives.

I misplaced my dog and she was taken to the Humane Society by a kind individual. I got her back quickly and easily and we were both pleased by the caring treatment and efficient service. Thanks CMHS

Adopted this silly girl (Luna Bean) from CMHS in July and could not have asked for a more seamless process. When the time comes, I will definitely adopt from them again!

Staff was extremely rude and very unwelcoming.

This place is amazing! Once a month they offer a vaccination, microchip, spay and neuter clinic with very affordable prices. In addition, to other programs you can pull-up one a month and they will give you a very large bag of dry dog food (all brands, depending on donations) and upon request and availability moist canned food. I have only received dog food, but I'm guessing they do it for cats as well.

Great people, nice place, helping animala in need. Capital campaigning for new building.

Very professional and great with out little kitten. We had neutering, shots, and chip. He was well taken care of. Defiantly recommend.

They help me with dog food when I cant

We had to take our fur baby girl in to get fixed and all the bells and whistles. She is not a very socialized girl so she was not very happy our friendly to the guy who was there working. He was supper friendly and did a great job making friends with her. He realized how afraid she was and knew allot was from the dogs barking and had us move around to the back where it wasn't as noisy. We all had concerns about her behavior and he did everything to help us all threw the ordeal. She got to have her procedure and all is well. It's been a few days and she's doing well. Scheduled an appoint for the next day to meet this handsome guy and about 30 minutes later i paid 30 bucks, thanks to their "block head" block party special discount, they handed me a bag of food his medicine for the next few days, his chip info, and a pamphlet for signing up for insurance and sent me on my way. This big guy is enjoying his home so far. Hes well mannered and just what i need at this point in time in my life right now. Thank you so much guys!!

They won't except animals that are not in city limits. This place is a joke

The way you got our dog was not only strong arm robbery but also extortion....not only are we in the middle of a world wide pandemic, but stealing from the disabled is not the way things should be done! Very disappointed, because not only was I stuck here during the shut down, but shots lapsed because of lack of services available....but, hey, you got your money...$58...which is not what your website stated, either...lies, robbery, and extortion....BEWARE PUBLIC OF COLUMBIA...they will take your dog and then charge for the return! Nicely done!

My escape artist dog spent the night at CMHS and they took excellent care of him, even when he escaped their kennel. Thank you for protecting Whiney the Pooh for my family.

Stephanie the manager there was very unkind and unprofessional. She told me she would be taking the cat back because I set up an appointment and they couldn’t do it today and they would call animal control on me. Tired of the bs service. Don’t go here. Worst customer service by Stephanie.
