First time there to establish my 2 dogs as patients. Very friendly staff, welcoming on the phone, and in the office. Waiting room was very clean and we did not have to wait long to be seen. Doctor was super nice, did not rush, answered all our questions and concerns. She even sat on the floor to greet the dogs. Very welcoming and comfortable for the dogs. Highly recommend.

Every Horton location has been absolutely wonderful for us. Dr. Meyers is incredibly patient and always goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is comfortable and happy. These folks feel like part of the family.

Wouldn't go any where else. Have seen Dr. Marshall for years. She's terrific.

Horton Animal Hospital Northeast is an excellent place to take your fur baby. I take my fur baby to Dr Michelle Marshall, and she is an awesome veterinarian. Dr. Marshall is a very kind, gentle, attentive, and caring veterinarian. Dr Marshall is very good with my cat and also listens attentively to my concerns and fears. It is a very calm environment, and typically I get into a room with my cat almost immediately. I like the caring staff and the relaxed atmosphere which I believe is really important to my cat. I strongly recommend Horton Animal Hospital Northeast.

I was very impressed by the level of care, patience and understanding that both Dr. Fox and Dr. Shull showed me. They performed two of the most thorough exams I have seen in my experience of being a pet parent. They both answered my questions and explained what they thought was going on in ways anybody could understand. When it came to treatment they did an excellent job of providing what they thought was an effective option and most reasonable - not just what would bring them in the most money. When it came to the time for me to have to make a very difficult decision Dr. Shull was very patient and compassionate with me. I would be very comfortable taking any pet here and knowing that they have my pet's best interest at heart.

Dr. Mike Myers is the best in the business. My Mallory has been treated with kindness, professionalism, compassion and like one of their own by both the staff and the Dr's. We will never go anywhere else. I can't express in words how happy and pleased I am. We love it here

I have a house cat who went on a wilderness adventure for a little over 6 weeks. When he remarkably reappeared, I called Horton immediately to see if they could get him in for an evaluation. We were able to see Dr Meyer who, gently but thoroughly, evaluated our frightened little friend. Dr Meyer was assisted by someone whose name escapes me as I write this, but she stayed so nice and calm which was comforting to ME, too! We were greeted upon arrival and wished well when it came to check out & depart. I could not have asked for a better experience! I will continue to work with Horton and will recommend them to anyone I know! ❤️

We’ve taken all of our pets to Horton North East since moving to Columbia a year and a half ago. During that time we’ve had to have surgery on two and we had to put an elderly shih tzu to sleep. Dr. Fox has been kind, patient, and thorough in every instance of talking with him. He explained all of the options and he was supportive of our decisions. I especially appreciated his guidance when we had to put our shih tzu to sleep. Quality of life was very important to us and it was clearly very important to Dr. Fox as well. Thank you, Horton North East for taking such good care of our fur babies. I wouldn’t trust them to anyone else!

Thought my dog would need sedative, but they were so good with her that no sedative was needed! I highly recommend them.

The vets and staff are very professional and do an excellent job. One of my dogs is very scared to go to the vets and they do an excellent job getting our dog comfortable. They also answer all of our questions.

We have seen multiple vets in town and Hortons NE is the best in Columbia. They have taken care of all of my animals over the last few years from new rescue babies through end of life care for my older fur-kids. Very caring vets & staff. They can do surgeries & have a kennel too. We tried 2 other vets in town that did not give our pets the attention they needed. Then someone recommended these folks. We've been coming to them for over 30 yrs. They won't disappoint.

I went in to get health certificates for my cats for an international flight, this was supposed to be a quick appointment. However, this took over an hour to complete the appointment and I may not even get the certificates in time. The cost for this running around? $825.

We LOVE Horton's! Dr. Marshall has been our vet for all of our pets for over 15 years and we will keep seeing her until she retires. The staff is always awesome & helpful. We love knowing that our pets get the best care.

I had to take my dog in to have her euthanized. The staff was fantastic, caring and explained every step. Then a couple of days later I received a beautiful card of handwritten condolences from the doctor and staff. I was truly touched by their kindness.
